I knew if I would give another try in magic and try to explain it in an easy way, like mother did, it would also be a little bit too hard for them and they would lose all of their motivation and would be depressed. The best solution for this was by separating them into smaller groups and teaching them differently. But then again, I would waste important time to prepare them for the future. Nothing came to my mind at first but when I remembered Kylie, I also remembered how she taught me common sense. If I wrote them books and teach them, at least how to read, I could save a lot of time.
I didn’t have that much books because my only supply were those from my [space inventory], so I had to write some basic ones myself. Creating paper and something to write with was easy with Control. As long as I knew the components of something, I could create every kind of basic needs. I started with writing every letter of the alphabet down on a sheet and tried to teach them how to read. When I did it like that, I had to calm down or I would have beaten up a lot of them because there were at least 20 children who fell asleep when I talked. They were even less interested in reading then learning magic which they weren’t able to understand at all.
They complained a lot about that even though we had little time left. They didn’t make any progress with reading but memorized the names of animals and plants from my land immediately, which got me thinking. I eventually thought that they were just bored with only seeing letters so I tried to paint things and write words under it for them to learn. With that I was able to teach those kids a lot more efficiently. Even though my paintings were crap, which made them laugh a lot, they understood their meanings.
With my picture book, they learned the alphabet in the time of a month. When they were able to read, I could finally start giving them books to read. I wrote a book of the plants and trees which are growing on the island, I wrote one explaining magic, about the animals, etc.
I had so much fun writing those books that I totally forgot about everything else. For a whole week, I ate almost nothing and solely focused on writing. I looked like a madman and the kids were really scared of me dying because of how I ignored the state of my health. I got thinner and lighter. I was not really healthy for a child after that 1 week.
They came to me and stopped me after the 7th day. It was hard for them, because they couldn’t beat invaders yet and didn’t want to witness anymore destruction of their new home. I came back to reality. Because of my ignorance, my body was in a rather bad shape, in which I wouldn’t be able to defend the island anytime in the future. Luckily it was enough to kill those who already arrived and started to destroy everything.
After rebuilding most of the things destroyed, I needed to start fixing my body, too. I ate a lot more fruits and started training harder than I ever did. I told myself to regulate myself in order for the same thing not to happen twice.

I finished writing a lot of books in that short amount of time, which I gave the kids for the time being. At least they could finally read, so they had to bear with self-study for the time being. It took another 3 weeks to return my body to its peak.
The next 2 months, I separated them into groups. I taught them how to control mana and how to combine it with the nature. About 50 of them were rather good in magic and learned how to use at least 1 element. I decided to teach them based on their element and divided them into 6 groups containing of the children which could use that basic element. 12 for fire, 7 for water, 9 for earth, 9 for wind, while 10 for light and only 3 for darkness. I was depressed for the rest of that day and they had to do self-study again.
The other 50 kids, were more interested in the vegetation I created or in building something, body strength, blacksmithing, etc. I let them do the things they wanted to and agreed to write them a few notes or a book if they need any help. The 5 children who wanted to train their body, woke up early every day to run laps or do push ups. Sometimes they would want to fight me but I always won so they eventually gave up on the thought of beating me.
Because everyone was more or less satisfied how things had been, I solely focused on training the magic group and finding a solution to my problem. It took 2 more months until I finally had at least an idea on how to travel over far distances. Indirectly, it was Sepp’s idea.
When I told them how advanced magic works, most of them understood nothing at all. Those who didn’t just wanted to increase their mana capacity and gain a better control over the element they had and play with magic, those who understood at least a bit, stuck to me and learned.
It were actually only 3 children. 1 of them was Sepp, who was a human and turned out to be more or less a magic genius, if you wouldn’t count me that is. Another 1 called Sandra, a human girl, also with a lot of potential. And the last, the oldest out of all 100 children, with the age of 10, called Horan, a pure blood dragon. No one knew why he ended up as a slave but he didn’t want to talk about it, so we never asked him.
All 3 of them had only 1 thing in common. They could all use the element of darkness, which made me proud, at first. Next instant, I was sad because I knew that if only those 3 who learned my strongest element were able to comprehend what advanced magic was, then I would turn out to be a lousy teacher, again. I couldn’t do much about it.
When Sepp learned how to control his 2nd element light, he gained a much better understanding of the usage of mana and came up with the perfect idea. In order for me to instantly travel over a far distance, I could use something to store mana in it. If I ever had the need to teleport back, I could use the saved up mana for that. It was a brilliant idea and so the next 4 months were used to produce results by me. I let the children do self-study most of the time and concentrated on finishing my mana storage item. It was a little black stone, which I created in a similar way like I created my [space inventory]. I marked the exact position I wanted to travel to with a mana circle.
While I focused on the teleportation, my students only made some minor breakthroughs. With only their strength, they wouldn’t be able to defend the island. The last 4 months, I focused on training my 3 little geniuses, so they could defend the black continent while I would be gone.
When those last 4 months came to an end, I had to leave or I wouldn’t be able to attend Sonya academy anymore. Before I left, I first made sure that those 3 were definitely able to defend the island. I let them go to hell and out again. Second, I made sure that I know in which direction I needed to go and lastly I assembled everyone near the gate to say them my farewells.
“I’ll be on my way now guys. Don’t miss me too much, I will come back. Make sure that you manage this little continent well while I’m gone.”(Me)
With that I turned around and left through the gates. Naturally I used magic to fly and would avoid falling into the sea at all cost. I wasn’t able to forget what it did to me.
