Those words picked my interest even though the smile on my father’s face annoyed me and I wanted to punch him in the face. I nod silently and followed my father to the chamber, where my mother was currently lying.

A few minutes later we arrived and my mother was holding my little brother in her arms. In the door stood earth, one of the demon servants who helped. We were too late so I glared at my father. But I soon didn’t care anymore as I was curious if every race had the same way of giving birth to their children?

[If I get the opportunity I will research and write a book about nature and research every race in it.]

I said in my mind. As my mother saw me standing there she probably thought I was overwhelmed by emotions of love or something like that. They were probably one of the first emotions I showed but unfortunately it was only curiosity.

I didn’t really feel much towards my own brother. It was more like an interest towards what happened or what he will accomplish in the future. As I held my brother and mother noticed my thoughts weren’t what she hoped, she made a sad expression, so I faked a smile and gave him back to her.

She than told me that it was ok for her if I don’t interact a lot with Hibiki but I should at least look after my little brother for a bit.

I let my mother rest and left both of my parents and my brother in the room and went outside of our little mansion. In the past years I also learned that the house we were living in was called a mansion. It was really big and had over 20 rooms. Everyone who lived here had his or her own room, we had a dining room, living room, “library”, working room, an entrance hall and a cellar. I have been to every corner in the mansion already and got bored of it.

From one of our books I could study the geography of this world. My mother made a world map especially for me because I seemed rather bored and I have been studying it ever since.

Our home was located at literally the end of the world. Nothing near our house except forest, mountain and water. Did I already mention forest? Even with so much nature around us there were no animals, beast or other races. There weren’t even bugs, bees or other insects. The only live on this island were our family of now 4 and the 5 demons who stayed behind to serve our family.

The other 4 families got highlighted on the map. They were surrounded by various points which indicated habitants from other races and they were even near themselves. Except us that is.

After some years, exploring the surroundings got boring so I only stayed at home, read books and trained my body. I didn’t feel lonely but I would really like to go to the outside world and travel around.

As I thought what I could do, the demon water my father created, and named, crossed my sight. A thought came up in my mind. I read books and gained quite the basic knowledge. I trained my body but my strength and speed won’t develop further. I probably lacked real fighting experience there. So what else could I do?

I moved around more till my feet got tired and I fell to the floor.

“I will ask my parents tomorrow to tell me how to create something myself. Perhaps I will be able to create my own demon then.”(Me)
