Ray stands in the jungle, in his true flame aura. This form was a combination of everything, flame aura, flame manipulation and partial beast transformation. This is the true essence of his power, the true form, he needs to master this and the power ups that come along with this, after mastering this he will do the same with his semi-perfect flames and then his perfect flames which he is yet to even achieve in his flame aura.

This was due to a number of reasons, one, because he still doesn’t believe he has the stamina and capacity to withstands such flames, after all, blue flames are about 2,000 to 3,000oC. Also, with such intense flames, he was scared he would cause harm to those around him. But he was well aware that in the future he would definitely need “True, Semi-Perfect Flame Aura.”, as well as “True Perfect Flame Aura.”.

However, the first step too gaining such power, was to make this new form as natural as breathing.

Suddenly, a giant snake that had been stalking Ray chose that time to attack. It lunges forwards towards Ray, who feels the movements in the vibrations of the heated-up air around, Ray moves so fast it's as if he had teleported, he was now situated above the snake's head now. Using a mixture of all his techniques a giant flaming claw appears from his hand. As he swipes down, the snake is split into 6 chunks and falls dead to the ground.

Ray lands on the floor amazed at what just happened, he was going to reach a new level of power, create new techniques and rain fire down on those demons.

Suddenly, a giant spider shoots a stream of silk at Ray, that expands into a net, trying to catch him, however, he steps forwards with a beast palm and wave of flames bursts from the attack, inseminating the silk. In his other hand, he summons a ball of spinning flames.

“PERFECT PITCH!”.

The ball of flames blitzes towards the spider and with a snap of his fingers the spider is obliterated. However, the surrounding area is set on fire.

“Shit, I got carried away.”, Ray says panicking.

He then gets an idea, surely... if he’s fire...

Ray exhales deeply and then, using all his lung power, sucks in the air. He inhales the flames like spaghetti, and then burps a cloud of smoke.

Ray stands there shocked for a second and the begins to laugh.

“I can’t believe that this whole time, I haven’t been using this power to its full capabilities. Though, I believe that I needed to learn partial beast transformation for this to happen.”, Ray thinks to himself.

What he really needed now, was a dungeon, a strong one, where he could practice and use this power as explosively as possible.

Just then, then a horde of lizards comes crashing towards Ray. He stands there, ready to decimate them, however, a blast of flames descends from above and incinerate the lizards, chargrilling them. Ray, confused, hurriedly sucks in all the flames before they can spread and burn the jungle. When he looks to the sky, he can see a red lizard, with bright orange wings hovering above him.

“IS THAT THE FLAME DRAGON?!?!?!??!”, Ray things, shocked and amazed, what was it doing here of all places.

The flame dragon flies down and presses its forehead against Rays, just then, a small voice echoes throughout his head.

“You, the flames you possess remind me of an old friend, I can feel him within you. So, if he chose you, I guess your worthy of following.”. there was a small glow of light where their heads connected.

“I am the flame dragon, Salamander. I have chosen you as my new partner and so, from this day on, I will protect you and your descendants for as long as I exist. It's nice to meet you.”, Salamander says, as he flies up and purchase himself on Rays flaming hair.

“M-my names Ray Smith... it's a pleasure to meet you, Salamander.”, Ray says in complete and utter shock.”.

Ray stands before the others, Salamander asleep on top of his head.

“Yeah, and that's how I met him.”, Ray concluded.

Every one stared at Ray in amazement.

“This is incredible... the flame dragon after losing its previous master's lineage... chose you. You truly are an amazing man.”, Regi said, completely shocked.

“I-it's not like I did anything... he chose me because of the Phoenix.”, Ray says bashfully.

“The fact that the mythical Phoenix, that was believed to be a myth and legend chose you is incredible in itself. Hell, the goddess chose you to defeat the demons. You are a living amazement.”, Luke said. The others nodding in agreement, Causing Ray to blush profusely.

“That means we can show him to the sacred dragon garden, right?”, Lilly says excitedly to her aunt.

“Yeah, let's bring him.”, She says smiling.

“The sacred dragon garden?”, Ray says confused.

“Yeah, it's a home for the dragons, that's where Sylphie and Aqua spend most of their time, which is why you probably hardly see them, they come and go when they wish. We don’t see the dragons as tools and make them fight for us for no reason, which is why sometimes they’re not around. They’re free to go back and forth from the garden as they wish, and we can go in and play with them too. It's a beautiful place.”.

“I-I see.”, Ray responded.

This explained the reason why sylphie wasn’t with them when they would go on little jobs and missions. They treat the dragons with respect and only call on their aid when they are desperate. Other than that, the dragons are more or less free.

Ray follows Lilly and Mary outside to a giant glass dome, he had seen this plenty of times, although had never been in there, when he asked about it, he was simply told it was a garden that required permission to enter. Not being too bothered with a random, he hadn’t asked to visit it.

As they entered the glass dome, Ray felt like he had been sent to the garden of Eden. It wasn’t a huge place, but it was big, and for the small dragons, this was plenty of space. As they entered, both Sylphie and Aqua flew over to Lilly and Mary for some love, then they spotted Salamander who opened his eyes. Ray was scared there was about to be a fight, however salamander flew over to them and they flew off towards a nearby tree and all free of them embraced in a hug with their wings.

“You know, they say that the dragons built this world and that they were created by the same being, making them all siblings, though, of course that's just a legend. It's unknown if this is the truth.”, Mary said smiling.

Ray looked at the little dragons and smiled. It was crazy, how such cute creatures. Possessed such immense, wonderful yet destructive powers.
