And so, a week goes by and Claire and Tia are on the road heading towards the human plains' capital. similarly, the demon army, led by conquest, are viciously rampaging their way towards the southern beast tribe, killing any humans that managed to survive as well as monsters just for the sheer pleasure of killing.
Meanwhile, Ray had finally completed the initial stages of his beast Kungfu training and was now moving onto the next level, sparring against Luke. Ray had also used this time to test out the newfound strength he had received from his evolution and combined with his partial beast transformation; it took considerably less blows to destroy the cube.
Ray and Luke stand before each other and stretch as they are being watched by all the residents of the castle, including the maids and butlers. As they finish stretching, they face off.
“You ready young student?”, Luke says smiling.
“Yeah, let's see if the student has surpassed the master.”, Ray says also smiling.
“Don’t go overboard you 2!”, Anna shouts.
“Yeah, we’d hate to have to scrub one of you off of the tiles. Especially with the unknown movements of these demons.”, Mary said jokingly, yet with a tone of seriousness in her tone.
“Don’t worry, if they get out of hand, I’ll stop them.”, Regi comments. The group couldn’t tell if he was joking or not, but after he said this, the group seemed a little less tense about the potential mess that could occur.
“You got this Big Bro!!”, Leo shouts, the rest of the kids whooping in agreement and joy for being able to see a battle so close at hand. All the kids were on Rays side except for Kay and Arnold who were cheering for Luke.
“Hey, hey. Who are you going to cheer for Lilly~. Your dad or your BOYFRIE-”, before Arthur could finish, he was wacked around the back of the head by Mary.
“DON’T KILL EACH OTHER OKAY!!”, Lilly shouts.
Ray and Luke shake hands and transform, their features becoming more animalistic.
“Let's do this Ray, give me everything you’ve got.”, Luke says in a slightly more animalistic tone.
“You too.”, Ray says.
They step back from each other and get into a stance.
“3... 2... 1... Fight!”, a butler announces.
The both of them take a step forward and using their right arms strike with a beast palm to each other's chest. However, Luke who has had the most experience using beast Kungfu, uses his left arm to knock Rays attack off course, causing Rays attack to miss and his to land square into Rays chest. As the attack connected, Ray experienced the full force of the attack he had been practicing, it felt like his innards had become jelly and were vibrating rapidly, he wanted to vomit, but he held it in. As Ray went flying backwards, almost falling out of the ring, he digs his heals into the ground and stops himself.
“Hey, no fair... you didn’t teach me how to block attacks.”, Ray says coughing.
“Well how are you supposed to block an inanimate object like a cube? This is where you learn. Now come at me.”. Luke says smiling.
Ray grits his teeth and charges back in he jumps up and tries to land an arial kick to Luke's head, however he dodges and tries to land another beast palm to Rays stomach as he falls towards him however Ray performs a beast stamp in mid-air, the heal of his foot slamming hard into Luke's hand and knocking it down. Luke looks up at Ray in shock as Ray then tucks his heals behind him and slams his knees into Luke's face and slamming his head into the ground and rolling forwards off of him.

“How was that. Teacher.”, Ray says standing up and smiling.
“Not bad, however you shouldn’t let your guard down.”, Luke says.
As Ray turns to look at Luke, he can see him in the air, his head wound back, Ready for a devastating headbutt, beast bell. Ray instinctively uses his arms to block his forehead, which stops a devastating blow to his head which would have sent his head spinning, however, fractures the bones in his arms. If this was anyone else their arms would have been pretty much useless for the rest of the battle due to the pain and the risk of worsening the injury, however around the fractures, little internal flames burst into light instantly healing his bones. His healing flames and his flames in general had also dramatically improved after his recent evolution, he had reached a whole new level.
In almost an instant after the headbutt, Ray grabbed Luke by the shoulders and threw him. He then rushed over to the stumbling Luke and struck him with a twin beats strike, to the chest. However, before hit could connect, Luke grabbed Rays arms and began to swing him around in a circle by his wrists. He then chucked him up into the air, giving Luke time to compose himself after the barrage of attacks.
As Ray fell through the air, he flipped over so his knees were aimed towards Luke and began to descend, the aerodynamics on his side, moving faster and faster. Meeting the challenge, Luke leaps upwards towards him, ready to deliver a beast palm to Rays chin.
Although this battle wasn’t very flashy, the area was still intact and it hadn’t lasted very long, the battle was getting dangerous. The secret to why beast Kungfu was so dangerous was because it damaged the opponent internally as well as externally and although neither party was tired and could keep fighting, if one of them were to land either of these attacks in this current situation, the results could be problematic. More so for Luke as he lacked Rays intense healing factor. No one was really aware of the significance of this clash. Except Regi, he knew that if Ray lands the crushing knee to Lukes's skull at this speed, it could permanently damage his brain and damage his spine to the point where their current healing magic may not save him and if Luke lands that beast palm to Rays chin, it would rattle his brain immensely, permanently damaging him and potentially take his head off and Regi was unsure if even he could survive that.
And so, he transformed, his features becoming more animalistic and powerful, his fur plagued with darker spots. He lunges towards Luke and tackles him out of the air, Ray crashing down past them and smashing into the ground, creating a small crater at his base.
“I think that's enough for today, before someone ends up dead.”, Regi says retransforming.
Suddenly all the kids rush around and swarm him.
“That was amazing!”, Leo proclaims.
“Teach me how to move that fast.”, Molly screams, Tom nodding in agreement.
“Looks like you still got it dad. That tackle hurt”, Luke says getting up painfully, holding his back.
Ray was shocked, Regi had moved extremely quick, in an instant he was tackling Luke, Ray couldn’t even follow his movements. That old man, just how strong was he.
“Nice work Ray, normally we would keep doing this to train your moves in combat. But honestly there's not much I need to teach you now; your skills and movement are already great. Guess you're a fast learner. You'll take these techniques and adapt them to your own fighting style. And more importantly, you’ve shown me that there is still much more I need to improve on.”, Luke says holding out his hand.
Ray smiles, “Thanks Luke. I appreciate all that you’ve done”, he takes his hand and shakes it.
