Battle Log

The dazzling panel left Green secretly astonished. "Why is it so bright?"

The screen used to be a gentle, translucent blue, but now the intense light it radiated was so bright that he was almost blinded.

The brightness reminded him of his phone's glaring light when he stayed up playing with it.

"I could probably use this thing as a flashlight, right?"

Dismissing his erratic thoughts, Green checked another new change, a new section on the panel with abilities and skills.

And, to his astonishment he already possessed two abilities and a single skill.

Green tapped to investigate. Looking at the name of the first ability, he could somewhat connect the dots; this ability should be related to the tattoo on his abdomen.

Green examined the intriguing ability "Eldrathrin's Mark," as its mystical properties unfolded before him.

Eldrathrin's Mark(Rank 1)

Attributes :

•Increases maximum health by 20%.

•Increases users natural lifespan.

•Enhances users natural immunity.

Unique skill:

•Novice Rejuvenation

As he read the description, Green's eyes widened in astonishment. "Wow! Great, this is great!"

An extra 20 percent health points, natural lifespan increase and an enhancement to natural immunity, good.

Green instantly realised the implications of this ability, as a level 6, his health was 125, a 20% increase meant an additional 25 points of HP.

Of course, this may not seem much at the moment, but what if his health points were in the hundreds or thousands?

Just the thought of an extra hundred or thousand HP was exhilarating, and Green smiled as if he already possessed such high HP.

Green's eyes flashed, he was suddenly filled with hope for the other ability and skill.

He tapped twice to open them both at once.

•Restores 3% of the user's HP daily.

Observing the effects of the two panels, a wave of joy nearly caused Green to burst into laughter.

The great unique skill; [Reguvination], had the legendary benefit of allowing him to recover almost 20% of his HP every three days.

Despite not fully comprehending the level and foe requirements part, Green's enthusiasm wasn't extinguished at all.

The effect of the unique skill was akin to obtaining a free health potion every three days. Why shouldn't he be happy?

With just this skill alone, he could wake up with a smile on his face.

Then there was the [Troll's Vitality] ability.

Green considered this ability to be even better than than the [Rejuvenation] skill to some extent.

Despite the modest 3% daily HP regeneration rate, the realization that his health points could effortlessly replenish every day made him feel like a heavy burden had been lifted from his shoulders.

"Good! Good! Good!"

"Hahahaha!!!"

Green exclaimed "good" three times and couldn't contain himself any longer; he burst out laughing in sheer happiness.

The days spent in the dungeon this past month were truely stressful and a large portion of the stress could be attributed to the nature of his HP regeneration.

To be more specific, the lack of.

From the first day to the current day of his dungeon summonings, he only knew of two ways to regenerate health.

One was leveling up by hunting monsters and the second, obtaining a health potion as a task reward.

The first method of leveling up was too difficult.

This couldn't be stressed enough, each night in the dungeon, Green was genuinely walking on eggshells, playing a game of hide and sick with monsters like orcs, wolves and other high-level creatures.

He couldn't just wander around, killing, looting and burning as he went. Entering the dungeon wasn't akin to playing a game; there was no "play again" button to press if he fell here.

The necessity for caution significantly contributed to his slow leveling.

He couldn't level up fast enough to regain his HP, and the more monsters he killed, the faster his HP went down.

Accepting this reality, Green chose to cautiously slay lower-level monsters; creatures he was sure of beating with the most minimum impact on his HP; monsters like Spiders, Rats and now skeletons.

However, as he leveled up, the once abundant low-level dungeon monsters mysteriously began to vanish, nearly driving him to the brink of frustration.

First the spider, and then the rats; they all seemed to be swallowed up by the dungeon. Green had a hunch that the dungeon did not allow for farming lower level monster.

Although he didnt know why , this seemed to be one of the dungeon rules.

And the skeletons?

When he realised he had reached level 6, Green knew that they would soon vanish too.

As for fighting higher ranked monster, this was a risky and deadly business.

The troll he struggled with was a only a weakened version of itself, and even then he had struggled to finish it off.

If it wasn't for the timely help provided by the mysterious voice, he would have probably met his end; in that tiny cave, at the hands of the one-eyed troll.

Anyways, the ability to regain health through the aquired abilities and skill couldn't have come at a better time.

"With this wonderful abilities, I can finally walk sideways in the dungeon!" Green felt like he had suddenly become a crab.

"Keke.."

Green felt great confidence, he could walk with ease and explore the dungeon more heroically.

"Though we still have to bend down and avoid gangsters like orcs."

He was definitely sure a single swing from an orc would make him into a flat pancake and any ability or skill would be helpless to save him then.

"Its okay, I just have to remain low-key and avoid strong creatures," he reassured himself.

Refreshed, Green admired the small seed tattooed on his abdomen, finding it oddly cute. If there were other rewards like this, he didn't mind the 'little' pain that came along with them.

Putting his armor back on, Green checked his watch. Though he felt like days had passed, only a short period elapsed, and he had more time before the 6-hour limit.

Ignoring the slight pain, Green stepped out from the cave. He could still complete the Skeleton task today, he only needed five more to reach twenty skeletons required.

Cautiously navigating the abyss-like dungeon, Green searched for his skeletal friends.

After some searching, he found a mid-sized cave with three skeletons.

"Perfect."

Armed with a stone, he suddenly contemplated how terrifying the pale white skeletons might appear to someone encountering them for the first time.

He was definitely scared the first time he saw skeletons, but now he had gotten used to them and their unholy appearance.

Green used his ultimate power, [Secret Ultimate luring Method] to draw out the skeletons and finished them off one by one with careful strikes.

Feeling even stronger and faster after reaching level 6, the level 3 monsters were too weak to offer any notable resistance.

Green felt like he was an adult fighting with some middle schoolers. He checked his health, and it didnt decrease at all, as he didn't get hit even once during the whole fight.

Gratified, Green found another cave with four skeletons after some searching.

"The task can be completed today."

Drawing out the skeletons, Green skillfully dodged their attacks and decapitated them one by one.

Congratulations! Completed Task

Kill 20 Skeletons, Kills: 20/20. Rewards: 100 Exp, 32 Gold, Level 3 Health Potion

Completing the task, Green felt even more comfortable holding the level 3 health potion. Looking at his watch, he knew he had time before he had to return.

Turning to the gold in his account, Green realized his pockets were suddenly full.

"So much gold. This is great!" With this amount, he could buy several items from the store.

Tapping on the equipment section, Green clicked on defensive items. His gold dropped to the floor, but it was worth it. A small round shield, a warrior helmet, and a pair of boots appeared before him.

[ Level 1 Shield

Item Bonus:

+10 Defense ]

[ Level 1 Helmet

Item Bonus:

+10 Defense ]

[ Level 1 Boots

Item Bonus:

+10 Defense ]

The Level 1 Round Shield was approximately 45 cm in diameter, featuring a bronze hue with intricate designs. Additionally, it had leather straps for attachment to the forearm. Green's hand movement remained unhindered, allowing him to move fluidly while wielding the shield.

The helmet also had a bronze color, it possesed a great resemblance to those seen in a certain movie depicting bare-chested men with red capes. The only noticeable differences were the absence of a nose guard and the distinctive plumes adorning the top.

Green couldn't help but feel a heroic spirit envelop him as he donned the helmet, and he almost shouted, "ThIS is Sp#r#a!"

As for the Level 1 Leather Boots, they offered comfort, feeling soft and pleasant to wear. However, in terms of appearance, they didn't seem any more distinctive than ordinary shoes.

Wearing all the defensive items, Green felt like an old turtle. Looking at the last defensive item, the leg guard, Green thought, "The leg guard would make me a true turtle bastard."

Turning his head to the lone attack weapon, the sword in the shop, Green wanted to quickly earn enough gold to equip all the remaining items.

Green laughed in happiness.

He exited the skeleton cave, there was still an hour or so to go before the six hour were up.
