Green understood that clearing the floor was easy, only because most zombies were actually on the lowest floor.
Yesterday, when the fight between the zombies and monster began, the zombies in the building seemed to be full of energy and trampled on each other's bodies to join the fray of battle.
Unfortunately for them, the building's main door was tough metal and locked. They could never manage to bypass the sturdy gate and join the fight.
Green pictured the large number of zombies walking around the ground floor, and he broke out into a cold sweat.
He was sure that if thrown into such a horde, nine out of ten times he would die a miserable death.
Although he did not know if there were really other survivors in the building, if the survivors were hiding somewhere on the ground floor, their luck had run out.
Any small noise they made could potentially alert a horde of zombies to knock down their gates.
Green prayed silently for any survivors on the ground floor.
In fact he was secretly thankful for the current situation in his heart.
If the zombies hadn't rushed to the lower floors, he wouldn't dare come out to hunt zombies so brazenly like this. Although Exp was nice, it wasn't worth getting killed for some petty gains.
Considering the building's population, each floor should house at least 30 people or even more.
If he were told to face such a large number of zombies, he could only shake his head and refuse on the spot.
Green turned to the 12th floor, and his earlier thoughts were confirmed; only six zombies were moving around here.
Green used the same methods and dispatched the zombies, and their lethargy was a great help.
From their heads, he found 3 crystals.

Green only took around 15 minutes to finish the whole fight.
He employed patient methods against the zombies, he didn't just go out swinging and hope for the best.
If he had been reckless, he could have finished them off in under a minute.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
But he would never underestimate the zombies.
[It only takes a single scratch]
Fighting was fast, and a life-or-death battle usually took but a single moment.
Fighting that went back and forth for thirty to forty exchanges could only be ceremonial; at least Green had never encountered such a fight before.
Although he used tricks to fight the zombies, wasting some time drawing them out, the actual fighting was never too long.
[A single sword stroke determines life or death in mortal combat!]
He understood this concept well.
Green didn't stop and went to the top floor of the building. The sun at this time was hanging high, and Green felt like he caught a weird smell in the air.
He dismissed it as an imagination and walked up the stairs. Looking around the 13th floor, there were 8 undead walking around.
Green was surprised by the number. This was the highest number of zombies he had seen in the three upper floors.
The old driver's skills were godly; he drew out and slew two zombies, finding a single crystal in their heads.
Green was delighted and tried again.
It seemed like he had been negligent, and he finally faced the music of his rough actions. He had been too arrogant and wasn't cautious enough.
All the remaining zombies turned their heads and began running towards him.
The ferocious charge of six zombies was truely startling.
Green wanted to turn and run, but it was too late. The zombies were just a few meters away, and he couldn't give his back to the enemy at this point.
Green turned to a defensive stance and squinted his eyes. His brows had large beads of sweat.
As a warrior, Green liked to take initiative. He would never just stand and wait for the zombies to strike, he wasn't a training dummy.
He ran forward, suddenly stopped, and rolled to the side, escaping the zombie's rush.
He stood up and kicked a nearby zombie while raising his sword on another short zombie. Green's level 4 strength sent the zombie he had kicked to the floor, and he easily decapitated the charging short zombie.
His moment of grounding had an effect, and a fat zombie managed to rush him before he could react.
[What!]
In a state of anxiety, Green resorted to a shoulder charge, forcefully pushing down the fat zombie. Swiftly evading another female zombie, he forcefully leaped forward to strike an undead adversary positioned at his side.
Withdrawing his sword from the popped eye of the female zombie, Green continued his relentless pursuit.
A zombie lunged at his position, this time, he didn't wait and rolled forward.
Coming to the foot of a female zombie, Green didn't get up and tripped it with a sweep of his feet. Jumping up in a second, he kicked the kneeling zombie in the head like a football.
The level 4 strength was terrifying, and the zombies head twisted in an unnatural way. Still, a zombie was like a cockroach, and the undead could still move around with its head facing backwards.
Green felt horrified and disgusted by this zombie, and he sent it away quickly.
Only three zombies were left, and he made quick work of them.
The whole ground was covered in blood. The zombies were lying in various positions, some were headless, others kept their heads and instead had their heads split open by the sharp sword.
The air was filled with death and horror.
Green bent forward and tried to catch his breath. This was a close battle with the zombies.
Green realized this and was not complacent. If the fat zombie had managed to bring him down, then things would have gone a different way. Maybe it would be his body that would fall instead.
Green wiped the sweat on his forehead and checked his body. Thankfully, nothing was wrong with it. He had managed to evade the zombies pretty well.
Green was still not assured and opened his status to check.

Green looked at the HP and finally breathed out a sigh of relief.
But, he noticed that his stamina was down.
Green looked at the six zombies and went to harvest the crystals.
[Woow!]
More than half of the slain zombies actually had crystals in their heads.
Green was happy, holding four finger sized crystals in his hands. He watched as some of the white light tried to escape but was eventually pulled into his body.

Green looked at his watch and wanted to temporarily retire. The stamina was down, and he also wanted to see how the zombie situation would pan out.
He shook his blade and tried to get rid of the blood. But the blood seemed to solidify on the sword, and he could only try using a piece of cloth to wipe it away.
Green looked around the 13th floor; he didn't know if there was a survivor in one of those houses.
[Probably not]
They must have heard all the noise, but no one came out to look.
[Maybe, I'm wrong?]
Until yesterday, he had thought that he was the sole survivor in the building, but the Zhang family had proved him wrong in the end.
Green took another glance at the zombie littered ground and turned to the stairs.
He walked with some ease and was happy about the gains from the trip. He managed to clear three floors and gain some valuable Exp in the process.
[Level 5 is just around the corner]
When he reached the 10th floor, Green suddenly heard a knocking sound coming from below. His face scrunched up.
[When did the zombies learn to knock?]
