Cedric hopped off his Cunning and landed on one of the many floating chunks of rubble with a quiet “thunk.” He hit it with what should have been enough force to knock it out of place, but instead just… shoved it down a little. It didn’t take long for it to push back into position, either - bobbing back up like it was floating on some invisible ocean.
It seemed some force was still holding the mindscape together. Things were disordered and chaotic, but there was still some deep root that kept things stable. Cedric made a mental note of that for later. This new information was important, but he had different priorities right now.
Cedric glanced up toward the twin streaks of light, watching the arc of their flight and guessing where they’d land. Then, he took off - leaping from one chunk of debris to another, his Vice and Virtue trailing behind to catch him if he fell.

In a matter of seconds, Cedric had chased down the lights and positioned himself on a very specific chunk of concrete. A chunk that had just the right proximity and angle to be the perfect launching point for Cedric to jump from, should he need to catch the lights before they crash. It was then that he noticed the lights fizzling out to reveal Andie and Dyllan plummeting toward one of the largest chunks of floating mindscape. Cedric immediately took a step forward and crouched down, readying himself for action - but he stopped himself just shy of take off.
Andie and Dyllan were no strangers to falling from heights, and they knew how to land properly. If Cedric got in the way of that, he’d most likely add to their injuries rather than reduce them. Still, hitting the ground with this much force would injure them.
Fortunately, though, the solution to that problem was simple. “Lend a hand, my Kindness.”
