Book 4 Chapter Twenty-Six; O' How the Mighty Fall

Magda watched everyone either dying or wounded grievously around her. She had reached the 100th floor and had thought it possible to overcome, but it has proven otherwise. Since she had reached master tier II, she had felt almost invincible. But here, in front of her first calamity her guild had been decimated, they were going to fall here, and she knew it.

YOUR GUILD HAS BEEN DESTROYED!

YOU ARE THE LAST ONE STANDING!!

FLEE!!

The system was telling her to run, to flee from this battle. But she wouldn’t change her mind, there was no way about it.

She grabbed her sword, broken halfway along the blade and yet she was preparing for her final attack. From within her ring, she pulled out five dreadnought orbs, and hurled them into the air.

“Push the dragons back!” the dreadnoughts unfurled and mobilised ahead of her, rushing towards the dragons that prowled through the clan dead and snapping up bodies.

Meteoric ruin!

Her final skill, a skill so deadly, she very nearly never used it. from the sky, she pulled debris from around a star down. She was going to kill herself and everyone. Or so she thought.

Gravich the calamity dragon, a tier IV monstrosity. Its strength unmeasurable and truly deep, soared into the sky, untouched and untested by any of those who had accompanied her now laid in amongst the dead.

Gravich’s great wings propelled him into the sky, and he urged his body higher and higher, Magda’s master senses kept sight of him, and she watched with abject horror as he hurtled towards the meteors she had called down.

The first one, he simply soared through it. bursting it with his body as he charged through the sky a scaled mass of muscle and magic. The second meteor slender and thinner in shape, the dragon curled its tail about it and then using all four limbs. He crushed it, breaking it and crumpling it down to rocks from the sky.

The third and final meteor, it inhaled a deep breath, and a mixture of Mana and draconic magic formed a breath of white and blue flame. He torched the meteor, turning it into nothing but ash. He turned his breath towards the ground and Magda, mentally distraught and defeated. She watched as the torrent of azure flame etched the ground and came towards her. She burned, winking out of sight in an instance. A master tier, at the height of her strength and abilities. She died, her clan devastated and broken around her. Gravich roared, defiantly but also in euphoria! The calamity was unstoppable!
