Jazmel had been walking around the dwarven metropolis and was happy to sightsee as he was, Paldane mewled to be let out, but he wasn’t comfortable with him being out. Not in this place at least.
To be honest, Jazmel was ready to begin looking for the exit. He needed to stretch his legs and hunt. He needed to assess his new sword and refill his storage with items. He had sold all his valuables and now he almost felt light.
He made to leave back across the same bridge, but it was blocked. Wagons had somehow crashed and blocked the walkways as people tried to help them, so he turned back, quickly before the city grew busy with traffic of seekers and rankers trying to leave the city.
He headed north and towards the other bridge that he was closest, he spotted her before she noticed that he was aware she was following him. Mana was moving around her in a weird way, it was like she was adding it to others and when he watched, he could see that she was keeping track of those she ‘marked’ and other seekers where heading off and following those she had ‘marked’ with her Mana. She was looking through the crowds and she glanced at Jazmel, he caught her eye and looked away. But when he looked back she was looking at him, a smile spread across her face, and he knew she had noticed him.
Her crooked nose almost curled down, and he cursed beneath his breath that she noticed him. He didn’t stop moving along the bridge and he knew to give the woman a wide berth. His hand strayed down to his sword, and he kept moving even as he noticed her partners begin to try and pen him in.
“Hey kid.” The woman said and he stopped slowly, looking at her.
“What.” He said and she sneered.
“Nice eyes you got there, nice enough to see what I was doing right?” she asked, and he watched her, try, and mark him with her Mana, he flared his own and buffed hers away from him.
“Oh wow, we got a strong one here lads.” She said as her friends pushed in closer, Jazmel didn’t wait for them to reach him. he rushed the first two and with a punch to the gut and an elbow to the side of the head. they crumbled, he vaulted over the body and ran into the crowd. Hurrying out of the undergrown metropolis. He heard the others thumbling around to catch up to him, but he was just too swift. He literally glided through the crowds, his domineering tyrant body forcing him through the small gaps and the quick motions of the people.

Jazmel looked back and scanned the crowd; he caught sight of the women. Her eyes bloodshot with wrath and anger. But he wasn’t worried about her if she did manage to catch him. he would manage her; he passed one of the first people he had noticed her leaving her mark on. He didn’t know how to remove it, but he made sure she was aware, it was an older woman. Someone who wasn’t even a seeker.
She thanked him and he slipped away unseen and followed the bridge out of the city and deeper into the caverns.
After almost an hour of uphill travelling he caught his first glimpse of the sun, a blue sky and a yellow spun. He smiled a little and was determined to escape the tunnel as fast as he could. He knew he had made it when Paldane bounded from his ring and veered into the sky like a black-blue bolt and opened his wings as he ascended to let the winds catch him and haul him into the sky.
Jazmel lipped the entrance of the tunnel and found that he was not in the gorge anymore, but had come out into rocky terrain, which was just the beginning. He could see further down and that led into a valley that spread out vastly; trees, plains, and grasslands as far as the eye could see and even further; as Jazmel could see. The sight was breathtaking, it was not for the first time that he had found the floors the gate allowed them to pass through as beautiful sights.

He thought about all of his friends and at first he considered Baek, but he thought it better to choose those who had not heard of it or knew of his plot. he settled on the two he thought would be the most advantageous.
“Yes.” He spoke to the system, and it whirred in response.
SUBMIT THEIR NAMES!
He did, and the system pulled their names into it, and he watched as two links were sent to them instantaneously and then the system peeled back and then opened a gateway for him to step through. This hadn't happened before; he had always had to physically find a gate. But this was interesting to him, nonetheless. Paldane descended and bounded in before he could even restrain him. he stepped into the black gate of the system screen and into the unknown.
