DING!
THE SWORN HAVE AMBUSHED THE AUCTION!!
…
SURVIVE!!
The system screamed at him through message notices, and he didn’t even have time to look at it before three sworn members were trying to break the glass of their window seat.
Chain maiden!
Thunderfire!
Lacerate!
He, Katie and Sadé flung their skills out. The glass burst outward and the sworn were sent flying into the melee of the auditorium. Jazmel peered down and realised they were only three floors up, for a ranker that was merely an extended leap.
“What are we doing Jazmel?” Katie asked and he noticed everyone was watching him.
“Get into the auditorium and help out, we are retreating. But we are taking whoever we can with us.” He explained and everyone agreed, he leapt out of the window, Sadé was beside him and Corin leapt out before them, her wings unfolding about her midleap and helping to keep her aloft. Katie swung past them and whipped her chain out taking a sworn through the neck with her spiked chain.
Jazmel was hurtling to the ground and when he was close enough, with Nozarashi he stabbed down into the neck joint of the first dreadnought near him. cleaving it without his skill, he cut through the copper, and it flailed beneath him. the dreadnought stood eight feet tall, he averted from a wild swing of its other arm.
Lightning fall!
Lightning rained down on the dreadnought and when it had stopped the copper had been burnt and melted to the point where its legs had fallen away. Jazmel took the moment to cut into its chest and stab into the core. The copper golem shuddered before falling to pieces.

TIER III COPPER DREADNOUGHT KILLED!
EXP ACCRUED!
Lightning fall!
Sadé called out and pulling thunder from her channels she slammed it down and rained it down on those around. Everyone fighting was struck and groans bounced around the chamber.
“Sorry!” she said, and Jazmel hid a smile behind his hand, she was worried even though they were fighting for their lives. He heard it before seeing it, using his hand he moved Sadé out of the way and tilted his head to the side as a bloody knife appeared out of nowhere. Jazmel had seen him coming, he could see his Mana, covering his entire body.
The sworn ranker rushed them, parried the blade. the sworn seemed surprised but he hesitated for a moment before trying to disappear and appear behind Jazmel , he followed him. his eyes keeping sight of him at every moment.
“How can you see me?” he said, Jazmel didn’t even give him a moment to figure it out. He simply slashed down and cut through the bubble of Mana he was hiding his approach with.
Sunder
He whispered and the skill leapt from the blade and split the sworn before he could even understand what was happening to him.

He rolled his shoulders and continued moving, the rubble was everywhere large slabs from the roof had broken even more. Great rigid parts of the roof had crumbled and as more bombs had fallen. The cracks had grown and spread across the entire ceiling like a network of vines.
“the ceiling is going to fall.” He said and Sadé looked up, seeing what he had seen too.
“We need to get people out and as soon as possible.” He said to her, she nodded a grim look on her face. “Stay close, we will get through this.” He told her and her eyes grew kind. As they finished speaking Corin landed beside them and she was smudged with smoke and blood, but it clearly wasn’t hers.
“We should leave soon, there are master tier in amongst the sworn.” She explained, Jazmel had seen some master tier within the members who had come for the auction, but it seemed like they were outnumbered and to be caught in a battle between masters would be disastrous.
“Alright, let’s get out of here.” Jazmel said and Corin, without a moment’s notice she grabbed Sadé and leapt into the air and darted through the air to the exit. Jazmel watched them for a moment with disbelief but shook the doubt from his head.
The Dreadnoughts had noticed him and rushed towards him, crushing granite that had fallen from the roof as well as the wooden pews that had made up the seats in the auditorium.
Great rumbling dragon!
The spectral maw of a dragon made from Mana appeared and he sent it hurtling from his blade into the group of the dreadnought approaching him. they exploded, the first one suffering the most damage. Literally exploded and the copper of its form crashed into the two behind it and broke them grievously. he jumped down from the walkway and landed amongst them.

Lacerate!
He carved them up, they broke beneath his blade, and he suffered a few bruises from lumbering strikes. But his body was safe, thick, and hardened from the tyrant tempering.
The sworn were killing indiscriminately, seekers and rankers who had fallen injured from the blast from the roof. Jazmel watched as they slaughtered the wounded and then began looting them, taking storage rings, armour, and weapons. He was livid.
He sheathed his sword and brought out his katana made from grave and cold iron. They noticed him and though their faces were hidden. He could see the sickly eyes of them, eyes of killers and murderers. He rushed forward as they rushed towards him, cowls to hide their faces and masks to disguise their faces.
Sunder!
He slashed through the first three that rushed him. four fell before his blade and he didn’t even have a chance to check the system before a stronger one rushed him. This sworn was clearly a ranker, he carried a chained weapon. A scythe at one end and a weight at the other. He whirled them and slashed through the air at Jazmel .
Iron scourge!
He flung out the weight and Jazmel heard it pierce the air as it shot past his head. he dived out of the way, rolling, and jumping back to his feet. He landed near a group of them still looting dead bodies, but he was on them before they even noticed him.
Fall of the black raven!
He smashed through them and the closest one to him cried out. He screamed in death and fell in a pool of blood from his crushed hips and broken legs. The skill filled his sword with dark Mana, and he used it to smash the sworn into the others. He cut through them, arms, and legs. Before the last one even brought up his dagger to defend himself, Jazmel had killed six and cut through the dagger and him in turn.
He felt the system energy float into his body, but he couldn’t check. The chain shot beside him, the scythe slicing through the stone as if it were leather. Jazmel dodged it and as he turned he saw the thick metal fist rushing towards his chest. He quickly used his sword to cover his body and the dreadnought caught him almost cleanly.
Jazmel was sent hurtling through the air, he smashed into a pew and though it broke his fall, he felt the damage.
The system flared up into his vision.

He groaned, looking down he saw that a large splinter from the broken pew had pierced his side, he was hurting, and he could feel his body trying to repair itself around the splinter. He groaned and looked, he had dropped his sword and was a short crawl from it.
He pulled the splinter free and yelped from the pain, blood seeped through his fingers. He took out a health potion, one of his tier II ones and drank it. He grumbled at the pain, he felt it pushing to heal his wounds, but his ribs and the wound in his side was larger than the potion could fix both. He moved, he needed to get up. He groaned at the pain and winced where the wound was closing but blood was still pooling from the wound. He sighed, on all fours he crawled towards his sword. he picked it up and just as he made it to his blade, he parried a flying dagger that was aimed at his head. he deflected it and when it struck the stone it exploded, leaving a large crack in the stone.
He got up, there were almost a hundred of them now. Boxing him in, slinking towards him like predators, like rats finding a corpse. They thought he was too wounded to fight, but Jazmel wasn’t going down without taking as many with them as he could.
He inhaled deeply, closing his eyes for a second and calming his heart. he pulled his sword into a stance and exhaling he moved forward; he ran into them. parrying and countering as he smashed through those that tried to block him. He had carved a bloody swathed deep into their ranks before he was blocked.
Mountain breaker!
He heard and the group was smashed into the sky. Gelth appeared and he was bloody and wounded, but his eyes were fierce. He was ready for war. He crashed into them, swinging his mighty blade through the sworn who had attacked Jazmel and he was doing his best to fight towards his side. Jazmel did the same, killing the sworn as they came at him and wounded those he could only just reach. In a breath, they were beside each other and then the sworn ranker with the chain appeared. Jazmel kissed his teeth, cursing. But before the chain user could even reach them, he was hit with a chain himself. It was thorned jagged tips and wrapped around his neck, Katie appeared above and as she landed. She jerked her chain, tearing the throat of the ranker. his eyes rolled into his head, and he gurgled on his own spit and blood as his throat was torn asunder.
“Should we leave?” she asked landing beside Jazmel, who nodded and where she had opened the way. Bannerman came hurtling through a bestial charge that crashed into the sworn knocking them down and he clawed and swiped at those as he made his way towards them.
“None of you will leave here.” a voice said, and Jazmel looked up to see a single sworn descending from an office box towards them, he was handsome. Princely looking, his blonde hair and natural features made Jazmel think he was royalty. But his eyes showed madness, there was a wickedness in him that Jazmel could see. Clawing to get out and it wasn’t a surprise he was part of the sworn. He wore black leather armour and everything, but his head was covered, even his neck. He smiled at Jazmel and Jazmel noticed his fangs, his canines were extremely long.
“You have killed too many of my men, I cannot let you leave. Your blood must appease there’s.” He said and Jazmel felt sick at the grin that wrought across the man’s face.
“You will not be having me and my people.” Jazmel said, standing firm even though he wanted to rest and sleep.
“So be it.” the man said, and he pulled from his ring, a scythe. The blade was long and curved, and the metal was pitch black, it was filled with red that ran across the edge of the blade and it looked like blood, but Jazmel couldn’t tell from how far away he was.
“This is a Harbinger’s scythe that I got upgraded. It traps the soul of those I kill with it and fuse them together to make the blade stronger.” He said, running his own tongue along the blade.
“We need to kill him.” Jazmel said and the others agreed, but Katie; which surprised Jazmel . Said otherwise.
“We need to leave. He is a master tier.” She said and Jazmel sighed, they were not strong enough for him.
Scourge!
He uttered and swung his scythe. A bloody red crescent of Mana shot across the ground aimed at Jazmel and his friends. He stepped forward to block it and with all of him he almost did. The strike was bone chilling at first and then it shook his body, bones and then his very core. The attack didn’t land a strike on them, but it blasted them all off their feet and knocked Jazmel back furthest as he had taken the brunt of the skill.

HEAL NOW!
Jazmel moaned with pain, he felt it floating around his body and he tried to pull himself back to his feed, but he could not. He was teetering on unconsciousness, but he wasn’t too far gone. From where he had landed, he was leaning on a broken pew leg and was sitting on the ground. Broken from his fall. The master tier sworn was grinning as he leapt into the air and slashed with his scythe to finish them off. He heard Katie yell his name but there was nothing he could actually do.
Grim reaping!
He yelled and a darkened Mana rushed towards them. Jazmel simply watched it approach, it was as if time slowed down, and he watched his end. But it was not meant to be, for his own retainer appeared.
Night of the white moon
Jazmel heard pierce through the din of the skill. A lunar white orb expanded till it was so large Jazmel worried it might pop. It swallowed the darkened crescent and then descended on the sworn, engulfing them and obliterating them. the ground had been broken razed from existence and Baek simply descended to the ground before Jazmel .
“Who did this to my master?” Baek said and Jazmel coughed as he tried to smile, but instead he swooned and fell into the dark of slumber.
