They came forward and stood on both sides of the stool. Then Elder Henry turned his attention to these participants and coughed lightly and gained their attention, as he called out a name "Jeremiah"

A strong young man in his twenties with black colored hair, eyes, fish scales, and gills came forward wearing black animal skin covering his lower half only and sat at the chair. Then the two strong hunters began to bind him into heavy weight steel chair with steel bindings that restricted his movements.

Then Elder Henry took out a bottle filled with red-colored liquid that was glowing. Then Elder Henry took out an injection with a sharp edge and filled it with the liquid from the bottle. Under everyone's shocked eyes, Elder Henry inserted the injection in Jeremiah's right hand and pumped the potion.

The red-colored liquid entered the young man's body and started to attack and change the cells it came into contact with. But some mysterious blood-red elements present in the potion made both the attacking elements and the body's antibodies familiar with each other and induced fusion. Both invading DNA and native DNA suddenly began to look for various familiarities with each other and tried to bond.

While he's mentally battling with pain and the dangerous situation he's under. His body also began to react to the invaders in his left hand. Looking at the changes in Jeremiah, Elder Henry smiled and waved his hands at the two strong hunters who had already begun to loosen the binds and said with a happy smile on his face "Move him to the tent and provide him food as much as he wants, after he wakes up. Don't disturb him unnecessarily."

Then he smiled at the other Elders and informed them about this success. As the table was cleaned and disinfected with alcohol including the injection, which also got the same treatment. Then after a few minutes, the chair dried with a cloth and Elder Henry called another participant "Eren"

A twenty-two-year-old with no mutations in his body came forward with an expectation on his face. He saw the process and considered that other than little pain, there was nothing else to be worried about. So with the expectation of awakening an ability, he sat at the chair as two hunters bound him with steel chains.

The creature calmed down and breathed with the gills and then looked at the two strong outside the pond.

Two strong men heaved a huge sigh of relief and calmed down, as the creature didn't cause any ruckus and remained silent. Elder Henry and others also followed the two strong men and looked at the creature in the pond with various complex emotions. While some of the remaining participants of the ceremony looked fearful.

Elder Henry looked at the creature in the water and called out repeatedly "Ben, can you hear me? If you can, show some signs. If you can't, just do something."

Elder Henry tried to reason with the creature that lost its rationality and became a wild creature without a little bit of humanity, Elder Henry sighed sadly as he ordered the two strong men "Drag that creature outside and then kill."

Hearing this everyone is appalled that the creature will be killed. One of the participants of the ceremony who knew Ben beforehand asked in a sad tone "Elder Henry, can't we just let Ben stay in the pond?"
