A torrent of lightning bolts, ice bolts and wind blades descended upon Zulcrestus as he repeatedly light dashed towards the Descending Guardian. Zulcrestus continually evaded the attacks and struck the ice bolts with his darksteel shields.
The Descending Guardian's eyes lit up followed by two concentrated lightning mana beams that erupted from its eyes and made a b-line for Zulcrestus. Zulcrestus instantly stopped light dashing and his hands together in unison with his darksteel shield that all slammed into each other in front of Zulcrestus.
The lightning beams merged into a single beam before it ripped through the slower-moving magic attacks and collided with the darksteel shields, as Zulcrestus infused them with chakra. The shields were pushed back a few inches before Zulcrestus counteracted the force of the beams, on the darksteel shields, with a telekinesis barrier.
"If one of those hit me, while I'm not generating any more mana, it will most likely leave me in critical condition," Zulcrestus commented as the lightning mana beam died down and the darksteel shields detached from each other and circled around Zulcrestus.
Zulcrestus glanced up at the Descending Guardian and squinted at its head; he swiftly grabbed one of the darksteel shields and slammed it into another shield before hurling the shields at the Descending Guardian's head.
The shields melded together and morphed into a giant shuriken that sliced through the magic attacks as it made its way for the Descending Guardian. The Descending Guardian raised its green arm and went to grab the darksteel shuriken as Vivo noticed the two large darksteel fists trying to flank him.
"Well, that was unexpected-" Vivo managed to say before he was sucker kicked in the stomach by Zulcrestus, as he pierced through the Descending Guardian's chest.
Zulcrestus and Vivo bursted through the Descending Guardian followed by the feathers that made up its form beginning to fall apart. Zulcrestus stifled a smile before he spin-kicked Vivo away and into the two darksteel fists.
Vivo's wings quickly changed into the green metallic/ice material before swiftly destroying the darksteel constructs and stopping his momentum, caused by the darksteel fists. Vivo placed his hand on his forehead as he felt his head begin to spin.
"It was foolish of me not to expect he could create something to counter my darksteel; but to think he could make an alloy between kyanite, duskstone and dawnite..." Zulcrestus muttered to himself as he pondered something.
"If mother knew of someone who could, potentially, mass produce duskanite she'd definitely want you to bring them onto our side or at least capture them," Yellow Hika joked as she appeared on Zulcrestus' shoulder. Zulcrestus glanced down at Yellow Hika causing her to nervously whistle.
"Didn't I instruct you to go to the other... yous?" Zulcrestus coldly asked. Yellow Hika awkwardly chuckled as she flew in front of Zulcrestus.
"I know... but there was something important I forgot to tell earlier!" Hika stroppily shouted as she flailed her arms and legs around.
"Which is?" Zulcrestus asked calmly.
"Well, mother managed to get some info out of Kara on the life reincarnation by bribing her with sweets," Yellow Hika stated. Yellow Hika went on to explain that Kara told Callie that she can't pin down the god of life's exact location due to complications but does know that they're somewhere in the Senithrown Continent along with that their rough energy signature is heading east.
"So you're saying the life incarnation is already heading for the Ruination Alter?" Zulcrestus asked as he crossed his arms. Yellow Hika happily nodded her head and said to Zulcrestus she'll get out of his hair before teleporting away. Zulcrestus sighed as dawnite feathers started to flutter past him.

Zulcrestus glanced upwards and watched as the dawnite feathers began to rebundle together into a large sphere. Zulcrestus' eyes slowly narrowed into a scowl as all the feathers transformed into angorthite.
Zulcrestus intently watched the feather sphere split open and form into four giant wings, with claw-shaped ends, on the back of a humanoid feather cluster. Zulcrestus angrily scoffed and grabbed the handle of Novathane as a purple aura surrounded his body.
"I'll give you one last chance to surrender, Phantom of Innovation," Zulcrestus stated as his Destruction Mode's aura funnelled into Novathane's sheath. Vivo remained silent and violently punched his face to crack his neck before staring down Zulcrestus.
"Got nothing else to say? So be it," Zulcrestus stated before unsheathing the purple-flamed Novathane and light dashing at Vivo who, after activating his Lightning Amp, lunged at Zulcrestus.
Vivo threw one of his wings, with the claw balled up into a fist, at Zulcrestus while Zulcrestus pulled Novathane behind himself. Zulcrestus Swifty extended out his arm and blocked the wing fist with a darksteel shield. The other three wings quickly darted around the shield and tried to strike Zulcrestus.
Zulcrestus evaded the wings before tightening his grip on Novathane and slicing through all the wings and the darksteel shield with a single horizontal slash. Vivo darted backwards as the tips of his wings and the darksteel shield decayed away.
Zulcrestus abruptly covered his mouth as purple tar started to seep out from between his fingers. Vivo shedded the decaying feathers from his wings before extending and expanding all four wings in separate directions.
The four wings tripled in size before merging into two giant arms. Vivo hurled one of his wing fists at Zulcrestus before it was completely vaporised by a single large purple flamey slash. Vivo threw his other wing fists, but it was instantly stopped by a large destruction energy-infused darksteel fist.
Zulcrestus couldn't help but let out a restrained chuckle as the purple tar continued to seep through his fingers. A wave of purple energy raced through the darksteel fist and through Vivo's wing; Vivo quickly detached from the colour-changing wing right before the darksteel fist and angorthite feathers particllized.
Zulcrestus began to heavily choke on the tar as he used a telekinetic blast to launch Vivo away. Vivo flapped the remnants of his wings to stop his momentum and as he raised his head he was sucker punched in the face by a darksteel sphere.
The darksteel sphere pierced through Vivo's head and, for a split second, Zulcrestus' eyes widened before Zulcrestus noticed that the thing he thought was Vivo was actually a feather cluster monster. Zulcrestus darted his head around but couldn't find Vivo or anything other than the disintegrating angorthite feather, excluding some rainbow-coloured magic particles.
"As much as I'd like to keep going; If you use your god powers for much longer I think you might, ironically, die. So I think it would be in both of our interests if I take my leave," Vivo said to Zulcrestus telepathically. Zulcrestus aggressively spat up some more purple tar as his destruction aura and chakra marks disappeared.
"It seems I... urg...," Zulcrestus muttered as he held his forehead and used his telekinesis to resheathed Novathane, as its blade returned to its original colour.
"Father-father!" the voice of one of the Hikas shouted over the communicator located in Zulcrestus' gauntlets. Zulcrestus raised his wrist to his face before involuntary coughing.
"What is it, Pink Hika," Zulcrestus asked, with a surprised gasp emanating from the communicator.
"How'd you know it was me?" Pink Hika confusedly asked.
"Your voice is slightly higher pitched than Hika or Yellow Hika, but enough of that; what is it you wanted to tell me?" Zulcrestus asked before he looked away and coughed again.
"Well, a number of things: firstly, when yellow me ran into me, we ran into the Supreme Guild Master Chronia near the plaza. Secondly, we also found some odd mana signatures deep below Talkia and Original Hika ran into Ruby and her friend Sophia who were talking to a ten-tailed kitsune in the plaza," Pink Hika explained.
Pink Hika also mentioned that Zulcrestus should probably hurry to her location since Chronia seems to be in a hurry. Pink Hika told Zulcrestus to take care before she hung up. Zulcrestus glanced down at the city of Talkia and looked around until he relocated the plaza with the large Mayjorka Tree.
