A faint chime echoed throughout the colourful and bountiful coral reef as a diverse range of aquatic life gracefully danced in tune to the chimes; however, the improvised symphony was abruptly cut short by a red-faced Nola when she smashed her face into the water. She proceeded to scream at the top of her lungs and unintentionally scaring the underwater creatures off.
Nola managed to prolong her underwater scream for roughly ten seconds before she pulled her face out of the lake and gasped for air. As her gasping died down, Nola sat down and curled up into a fetal position as the memories of every time she called Zalroth her brother flashed through her mind; her face and, even, her ears turn even redder.
"I can't believe I actually said that(not that I had a choice), but it's..." Nola mumbled as her face turned back to its regular hue. Nola began to glare at the ground as she leant heavily, to her side, until gravity took over and made her fall onto her side, with a sandy thud. Nola defeatedly sighed as she longingly looked out across the lake.
"I'm such a disappointment,". Nola continued to sulk and to such an extent that she didn't even notice the silver four-winged crow(with six tail feathers and all the tips of their wings had lime ends) land on the side of her head. The crow leaned downwards and looked Nola in the eyes, with its beady pale lime eyes.
"Well, aren't you in a sorry stated," the crow quipped as he continued to stare into Nola's blank stare. For a few seconds, Nola remained motionless until her brain eventually registered the crow's presence and frantically sat up, with the crow flying off her head as fully sat up.
"Br-da, I mean Vivo, what are you doing here?" Nola asked before she slumped her head defeatedly.
"man, I'm a mess," she added under her breath. Vivo slowly descended and landed on Nola's shoulder before raising one of his wings over Nola's face to shade it from the sun.
"Let me guess, my dad sent you after me after he realised I was gone?" Nola asked before letting out a meek sigh.
"Let's just say there was an incident; and no he didn't, I came here of my volition," Vivo stated calmly.
"Incident, huh? Was the bang I heard earlier him blowing himself up or something?" Nola joked as she laughed but slowly stopped when she noticed Vivo wasn't amused by her joke.
"Sorry..." Nola apologetically whispered as Vivo hopped off her shoulder and walked over to the coast of the lake.
"Don't worry, I don't take offence to any slights made towards Roth, especially when they're about his less than ideal operations," Vivo stated as he watched the aquatic animals return to the coral reef.
"But since I'm here there is something we should do before meeting up with Roth... I mean Zalroth, later," Vivo stated before his body was encased in a mini magic tornado; the tornado rapidly increased in size before bursting apart and revealing Vivo: now being a tall, pale white skin(to the point it's faintly cyan), Silver hair with pale lime tips and sporting a dark grey fur cloak with a black feather pattern at the bottom of the cloak and a grey fur collar(with the tips of his six tail feathers poking out from the bottom).
"And what would that be?" Nola asked as she arose to her feet before beginning to float.
"Let's just say while we were in city something caught our eye," Vivo stated.
"Right..., but you know the way you used city makes no grammatical sense, right?" Nola asked as she floated over to Vivo. Vivo sighed while mentioning that people use the word town in that manner.

Meanwhile, the zelkio airship carrier cruised through the calm sky, which was only periodically interrupted by the violent collisions of Xero and Tokubaiyashi's colliding fists as they sparred in the air space around the carrier. Tokubaiyashi threw a punch and Xero tracked it before easily evading it and punching Tokubaiyashi in the face while manoeuvering Tokubaiyashi's block.
"If I didn't know any better, I swear you're able to see the future," Tokubaiyashi joked, with Xero giving him a silent stare.
"Wait... you can?" Tokubaiyashi asked perplexedly making Xero roll his eyes.
"For a machine, you sure have a lot of sass," Tokubaiyashi remarked before he lunged at Xero.
Kara, sitting on the back of a floating purple magic book(that had flat black circles on it and an octagon lavender gem on the front cover) in a large living room, stared out of the wall-sized window. Xero and Tokubaiyashi rocketed past the window, making Kara turn her head in the direction the two flew and watched them crash into the top of the air carrier's right front wing.
"How odd, they were supposed to evade that," Kara commented as she watched Tokubaiyashi haphazardly and Xero unnaturally stand up. Kara heard the entrance to the room open and she spun around on the magic book to see Callie stroll into the room with a large container of sweets in her hands along with a rainbow-coloured swarm of Hika's peeking their heads around the frame of the door.
"Behold one of my greatest creations, The Never Ending Candy Container," Callie proudly proclaimed as she carried the candy container over to the table next to the sofas, pointing directly at the cinema screen-sized tv.
Kara, still sitting on the magic book, and all the Hikas floated over to Callie; the group intently watched at the candy container as Callie opened it and, the moment the lid was fully off, the Hikas swarmed around the container. Kara angerly squinted her eyes and pouted as she watched the Hikas eat the candy while she tried to find an opening to grab some of the sweets herself.
"Sorry Kara, I kinda forgot these lot were sweet junkies," Callie remarked while she rubbed the back of her head. Kara disappointedly sighed as she layed her belly on her magic book and let her arms droop down.
"What an unforeseen outcome," Kara angerly murmured as her magic book floated her over to the sofa pointed directly at the TV and lowered Kara, along with itself, onto the sofa. Callie sombrely watched Kara as she turned the TV on and flicked through the channels.
"Maybe I could check with the cafeteria staff if they can make some muffins using magi-honey," Callie mentioned which caused Kara's antennas to spring up. Callie giggled to herself before, as she turned to leave, becoming giddy when she sensed Zulcrestus was trying to telepathically contact her; Callie quickly hurried out of the living room, without Kara and the Hikas noticing. Callie stopped in the hallway and happily answered the telepathic call.
"Helloo~," Callie said telepathically with a joyful tone, "Did you miss me so much that you just had to call me?".
Zulcrestus sighed as he overlooked the city of Talkia while Hika and Pink Hika were playing rock, paper, scissors.
"Hika and Pink Hika, informed me that you and Echo have collected one of the god reincarnations?" Zulcrestus telepathically asked.
"We sure did, we got the fluffball Kara," Callie stated. Zulcrestus placed his hand on the chin of his mask as he wondered something.
"Did you consider asking her if she knows the locations of the god of Time or Life reincarnations?" Zulcrestus inquired, much to Callie's displeasure and making her groan.
"I did, she even told me where the time goddess reincarnation was, which is Talkia, and even that you were going to run into her,".
"I see and the Life one?".
"That's the thing when I asked she was strongly adamant about not telling me and even tried to bite me when I persisted," Callie explained before saying she needed to go and instantly ending the telepathic call.
"How peculiar, why would that Kara girl want to hide the location of the life reincarnation?" Pink Hika asked.
"Perhaps she just doesn't know and is embarrassed about it," Hika remarked as the two continued to play rock, paper, scissors. Zulcrestus considered the Hikas' comments but couldn't reach a conclusion when he heard feathers flapping in the wind; he glanced behind himself and noticed the cluster of feathers made of angorthite gathering together into the shape of a jellyfish.
"Another one?" Zulcrestus said with a perplexed tone as he gathered light mana into his palm before it formed into the shape of a large claymore.
