Once upon a time, there was a beautiful witch. Her hair was azure blue, her figure was the envy of the city and she was smart and funny. The witch had only one dream; be accepted by her peers. She…
I evaded a noisy hornet whose body was covered in bulging red-orange eyes. My abdomen tightened and my flight or fight response kicked in. It was ‘flight’ but these abominations were everywhere and there was nowhere to flee to.
My fan gathered the ambient mana and a swing blew the abomination and its colleagues away with an ice gust. Rabbit friends were fighting all around me, trying to combat this invasion. Many had gotten injured and many more will get injured if things continue like this, but where was I? Oh right!
…She spent years of her youth researching and finally completed it! Her work would elevate her race and everyone would thank and accept the witch for her hard work and contributions! At least that's what she thought…
The council of bitches…excuse me…The council of witches had other plans. The research of the beautiful witch didn't fit into their agenda. It clashed with their abusive tyranny and thus…they invalidated the work of the beautiful witch and cast her aside. The only way she would get accepted was to hunt down a treacherous witch.
Clinging on to hope…
A loud buzzing sound neared from my right. I had already blocked out the headache but the noise these creatures make causes head splitting headaches. Giggling and buzzing together with creepy tones within words they copied from somewhere else. Some were in Nayala, some in Kaledonian but most were copied from the four tailed rabbits that were also fighting for their lives and homeland. They all had their ears furled and blood was trickling down out of most of them. My eardrums were fine but the poor rabbits had way better hearing than me. I couldn't imagine what sort of headache they were functioning under.
More rabbits got tossed around by swarms of fairies plowing through. The sky was blackened as it was filled with these abominations. Unfortunately these many eyed hornets weren't the only types. They came in many shapes and sizes. The only common factor was that they all were noisy and had more than 2 eyes and even that was debatable.
A cluster of furballs with eyes was moving around as if it was a bear. It was a swarm of 1 eyed furballs that acted like a know organism. We called them laser bears because…
“Lasers incoming!” A rabbit shouted.
We all dove down as the eyeballs glowed and shot lasers everywhere.
The only advantage we had was that the laserbears were stupid and all shot lasers simultaneously which was why some rabbits were on laser duty. They would warn the others when another round of lasers was incoming.
I barricaded an area with icicles to catch my breath. It had just been 3 days since the invasion had started but I was already sick of it. The noise never stopped so sleeping was impossible and…
My gaze went up to the sky. The enormous tear was still there and fairies kept pouring into our dimension.
The invasion never stopped…it's still ongoing…is this how everything ends? Who or what can even help us in dealing with this?
I sat down and rested. My fairy slaying shift had ended 2 hours ago but…there is no resting with this nonsense going on. Nobody had died yet from our side but it was just a matter of time. The rabbits had hoarded lives. Lives which were getting rapidly depleted currently. Guilt washed over me as another group of rabbits got blown up by what I call buttbirds. They had a head where their butt was supposed to be. They had an eye on every feather and their dropping were explosive… we still need to find out how that buttbird can shit without a butt…
It could be called a two headed bird but buttbird sounds better. It makes no sense but nothing here makes sense…
Clinging on to hope, the witch tracked down the Misha killer…witch killer. She was ugly, greedy and cowardly and continued to escape. The beautiful witch did all she could to catch the imposter…witch killer, to finally get accepted. But fate is cruel and had more in store for the beautiful witch. A loser fire god started a stupid conquest and marched upon my city!

I got worked up and tried to calm down. I got emotional and it affected my attempt to make a fairytale.
A loser god started his unjustifiable conquest and the beautiful witch got tasked to deal with…
Dispatch…
Dispose…
What words would a fairytale use? Why is this one sentence so difficult?
A mentally challenged god started his unjustifiable conquest and the beautiful witch got tasked with the noble duty of protecting the city full of people that hated her.
The beautiful witch was devastated. It was a noble duty but also a death sentence. The witch cried and cried but nothing or nobody would help her. Abiding by her duty, she fought the god and won. And she fought him again and won again.
The god fell in love with the beautiful witch but his personality was terrible. The witch declined, kicked his ass and sealed him away. Served him right!
Another tragedy followed the witch as his lover retaliated and sealed the beautiful witch. Everything had been taken from her, even her freedom. All she wanted was to be accepted by her peers.
Every effort to escape failed, sapping her willpower and will to live. She wasn't even able to end it on her own terms. Trapped forever while not even allowed to die… The seal took away the last thing the witch valued, which was her everlasting youth and beauty. She had been reduced to a wrinkly old woman with periodic back aches.
A glimmer of hope appeared almost 3 millennia later. 4 kids entered the witch’s life. They first improved the witch‘s life unknowingly, just by being eccentric and 5 years after their arrival they lifted a complicated 7 point containment barrier with a centered core.
I had first handedly witnessed how they destroyed some of the roots of the pink broccoli tree. Despite being 12 year old they followed a string of logic which led to the destruction of every root. It took them 5 days for each of the 7 attempts, putting them back to the start of a time loop after every root was destroyed…
I thought about the final days in Boshi town. I never asked Agnis, Gregory, Raishin and Ted exactly how everything went. That on itself might make for an interesting story itself. I hope I get the chance to ask because…
The rabbits issued another laser warning. Some dove down too late and got caught up by the lasers.
Kaledon must have the same problem as we have. Those 4 are still kids in my mind but…10 years have passed. All I know is that Agnis had manged to sneak into Witchaven and pick up my research. I don't know how but I'm grateful. At least one person appreciates my work and that is enough. The rabbits had also found out that he quoted and referred to my work a lot. It didn't seem as if he only created [Hattrick].
No Misha has contacted me yet so it seems that even he failed. They don't listen to their own race and not to another. What will make them listen?!
I played with the hairpin in my hands. I was quite difficult to be recognised as a Misha currently. I'm unsure if it's possible to discard my race as I truly don't feel like I belong. I feel more comfortable between other races than my own. Isn't that messed up? The rabbits have treated me as their own. I don't have long ears like they do but we look as if we're the same race besides that and they have no problems with it. The Misha rejected me for less…
The worst part of the fairytale has passed as nothing could come close to nearly 3 millennia of imprisonment but…it doesn't seem as if the ‘happily ever after’ is close…
I sighed and got up. I could use a longer break but these noisy creatures make every break unpleasant. My fan spread out and mistflowers started blooming and floated into the air.
“[Mistflower Field] Alert!” I yelled.
The rabbits reacted, relayed the message to others and made sure to stay on the ground. The beautiful swarm of blue mistflowers took to the sky and mingled with the fairy swarm and violently exploded, sending sharp petals everywhere, shredding every fairy in range.
It was the only attack that could take out large numbers of fairies without hitting the rabbits.
Chunks of gore and shredded fairies rained down. I succeeded in keeping my lunch inside. I had gotten used to fighting my body to keep my meals inside as this wasn’t the first time I used [Mistflower Field] to take out a large group.
It raised the morale but it was like scooping a cup of water out the ocean, trying to drain it. It would never be enough to destroy them all.
I kept waving my fan, sending out mistflowers out until my arms got tired and went back to rest.
The beautiful witch enjoyed her freedom. Her enjoyment was short lived as the witch killer had returned. A ‘happily ever after’ was so close but the witch killer had to ruin it. The beautiful witch hunted down the witch killer, even flying across continents. She made new friends and lost friends. Poor Jaffliximus...
She fought strange monsters and met friendly rabbits and a midget goddess. The kind rabbits helped the beautiful witch in locating the witch killer and she finally succeeded! Surely it would be a ‘happily ever after’ right?
Wrong. The witch had bullshit clones...
...copies of herself and started reviving. The beautiful witch and the rabbits hunted every copy down but when everything seemed to go well, the sky split open. Billions of noisy ugly creatures invaded and attacked anything and everything. Which brings the fairytale to a pause as this tale hasn’t ended yet. There is much to do before a ‘happily ever after’ can be attained.
