I jumped on my fan and flew out of the collapsing mountain. I had to be fast else I would get caught in my own attack. It was extremely bright outside so it wasn't hard to find the exit.
The mountain was still rumbling and birds escaped from the forest on it as it started to slowly collapse. I flew up and away as an enormous fireball in the sky had brightened the sky to the point that any shadow had been eliminated.
[Search: Imposter] located the fleeing Imposter.
“There you are! You can’t even fly! This speed. Are you running?” I flew away from her as this improved [Meteor] would take out this whole area. Why is this [Meteor] so bright? To eliminate the shadows so she can’t [Shadow Meld]. Why [Meteor]? I like the skill, it’s range is enormous which is needed because I didn’t know where she would flee to and it will hurt, like seriously hurt. I hope it will kill her but at this point, the Imposter is more of a Cockroach.
I barely made it but I got out of the range where my [Meteor] would do the most damage. I still got hit by it but I would live. The incoming damage was my cue to turn around and head over to where I had detected the Cockroach. I used another [Search: Imposter] and dynamically adjusted my [Hairpin: Azure Hairpin] to seek out the target of [Search: Imposter] and make it follow her until it hits.
“There you are!” I hopped off my fan, swung it, and hopped back on it to continue my flight. 3 [Hairpin: Azure Hairpins] flew out and went for their target. There were no obstacles as everything had been levelled by my [Meteor].
The next skill that got dynamically changed was [Meteor Slap] and [Azure Rush]. The latter which got the same treatment as [Hairpin: Azure Hairpin], as it would now track the Cockroach until it hit. My trusted [Meteor Slap] would just get an increase of firepower.
Another black blob tried to merge with the Cockroach.
“Absolutely not!” It got bound by [Azure Chains].
“You wanted to become a god? Well, I made these chains specially to bind a god!”
I closed in and landed a satisfying [Meteor Slap], which sent her flying into the air. She was still regenerating. How sturdy is this Cockroach? The [Azure Rush] was still in effect and I kept her airborne by [Meteor Slapping] her. This was so satisfying!
A weak [Lightningbolt] hit me but my [Azure Aura] blocked it.
“What… what are you…”
“The best the Misha have to offer and the result of honest research. You should have gone for that route too.” I [Meteor Slapped] her again.
There was a lot of activity on the ground as a multitude of blobs started to gather on the ground. Some were following the Cockroach which was still getting slapped around but others were flinging magic at me.
It was bearable at first but more and more blobs gathered and troublesome skills started to get casted.
“Ha! So I can’t use magic, so what? Still have an army of cute minions! It’s a shame I can’t reunite with them but they can still fight for me!”
“I have to do something against that stupid regeneration.” I got an idea. What if I destroy the goop with spatiotemporal magic? Nothing so far has destroyed the goop, not even [Meteor] but spatiotemporal, especially the spatial part is very good at destroying things.
I opened the magic circle of [Dimensional Sword] and changed it to apply to my fan. I want to use my unfolded fan to use the cut and destroy whatever it cuts with spatial magic.
My focus had shifted so the Cockroach started to fall to the ground, 2 blobs merged with her, her legs bulked up and she started running. This was of no consequence as my [Azure Rush] was still following her. It brought me through hurricanes so she will need a lot more effort to outrun it.
The skill was ready and I applied it to my fan. It gave a dangerous dark purple glow.
“Magic isn’t supposed to be as weak and static as it’s used nowadays. As it’s name suggest, it should make the impossible, possible. Current magic is more extended physics. It’s boring! As an ex-Misha you should be interested right?”
Cockroach was still running but she looked back and her eyes widened due to surprise.
“Wha… what is that!?”
I smiled. “This is Magic.”

There was no need to be close. Spatial magic removes any range requirement. A simple swing of my fan and a large cut appeared as if it had always been there. The Cockroach was missing the right side of her body.
“Huh? Why can’t I regenerate? Minions help me!”
The blobs jumped at her and after merging she regenerated the parts that she was missing.
“Ha! So far for your ultimate…” She realized that this wasn’t an ultimate skill, all I did was swinging my fan. I had more of those.
Another swing and her left side was missing this time. I had realized that I don’t know anything about these blobs. Killing the main body might not get rid of them and she might be able to transfer her consciousness to another blob after the death of her main body. There is a risk that she can do it at will but she either has a plan or would have done it already if she could. Either way I need to wipe out these blobs.
Swings went out to eliminate the blobs.
“Minions! Take her down!”
I kept swinging but also interrupted many attempts at using [Heavy] and [Gravity]. I decided to go for the kill as it would only be a matter of time before a [Heavy] or [Gravity] would send me crashing to the floor. I made sure to land a 'Killing Blow' on the Cockroach. I confirmed that her hat dumped all its mana into her body to 'revive' her and went for the real killing blow.
A large swing created an enormous gash into the landscape. The main body had disappeared from existence.
The blobs still lingered as I had thought. I started to wipe them all out but a [Gravity] connected and I crashed to the ground. I had covered enough distance in this chase to get outside of the gigantic crater my [Meteor] had created. The trees broke my fall.
I used [Search: Imposter]. Only reactions of these blobs and BS clones. I was a mess as I had twigs in my hair and my back hurt from the fall but the real Cockroach is dead. The problem is… the blobs and BS clones lingered.
It was too early to rejoice. These types of opponents would have made a plan in case something like this happens and reincarnate into one of their clones.
I calmed down and my hair went back to its normal state. I tried to get out of the tree but fell out of it.
“Ugh, I’m one of the strongest Misha in the world and I can’t gracefully get out of a tree.”
I dusted myself off. I wanted to fix my appearance but I first have to hunt these blobs down. Another [Search: Imposter] revealed that the blobs were fleeing.
“Oh, hell no! You’re not getting away!” I hopped on my fan and chased the blobs. The tracking [Hairpin: Azure Hairpins] shot down most of the blobs. Some had [Shadow melded] away but I had defeated most of them.
“Ugh, hunting them all down is going to be such a pain.” I sent a [Flare] up in the sky.
Then something dawned on me. I called a [Meteor] down! I hope I didn’t kill any of those nice rabbits! Another realization set in. I had destroyed the jungle. The rabbits might not forgive me. Sending up that flare might have been a bad idea.
I decided to run but 3 forest rabbits appeared besides me. How fast are these guys?”
“We’re here to assist you but… did you really needed to call down a [Meteor]…”
“I’m so sorry! I forgot that you guys were close! I didn’t kill anyone did I?”
“No, you didn’t don’t worry, we take fleeing seriously, so what would you possibly need our help with after bringing a [Meteor] down and…” He looked at the chasms I had created. “That…”
I told the rabbits that I needed their help in chasing all those blobs and clones down but that the main body had been killed. I also warned them that the main body might reincarnate into one of those clones and that her death is uncertain as long as those BS clones are walking around.
“Wow that’s annoying but good news! Thanks! Would you want to return to our burrow?” the rabbit guy I was talking with, gestured to 2 others who went into their rabbit mode and spread out. I assume they’re already starting to hunt the blobs down.
“Yes please, and I’m sorry about the forest and not completely killing her off.”
“Don’t worry, given the circumstances it’s understandable.”
I climbed on the back of the rabbit guy and we returned to the burrow. I explained there everything I learned about the Cockroach, explained why I call her Cockroach, the abilities and situation. I also apologized for destroying part of the jungle.
It seemed to not be a big deal as fixing situations like this also falls into their role. I still apologized to them for increasing their workload. They started to make plans to hunt down the blobs.
I like how fast these rabbits react. This would have taken forever if it was the Misha. I always thought that this was specific to races that live long. They have a lot of time so they take a lot of time. Not these guys.
They told me to rest as they had already sent a group to fix my crater and another one to gather intelligence.
