Plop and Lester’s head flew off.
“I’m going to kill you!” Xintong screamed in tears. Lester was like a little brother to her. Always following her around and even supporting her when she is down.
“Sadly you're not going to live much longer,” Jack chuckled as he walks toward Xintong.
The two goonies in the back laughs hysterically. With a tier four demonic core they are definitely ahead in this competition.
“See you in your next life,” Jack said and his sword went swish toward Xintong.
A shadow flashed downward and grabbed Jack’s hand stopping his sword swing. Qi of the fifth stage of the martial realm gushes out of this shadow’s hand as it grips Jack tightly.
“Its you,” Jack lets out astonishingly.
“Yeah it is me,” Lintian smiled evilly, his hand still tightly gripped on Jack’s wrist. Lintian unleashed a kick but he change a bit of it. When it got near Jack’s chest he used the emperor’s step. Jack’s body flew up into the air but Lintian’s hand still gripping onto him tightly.
Jack used his wrist to change the way he held the sword, even through he was launched into midair. Lintian felt the change and his knee flew up to break Jack’s right arm at the elbow joints.
Snap!
“Argh,’”Jack growled in agony.
This all happened so fast that no one had time to react.
Xintong stared at Lintian in awe. She could feel that he was in the fifth stage of the martial realm. Given his looks Xintong believes that Lintian was about the same age as her.
Jimmy and Arthur’s mouth dropped to the floor staring at the way Lintian was beating up a fourth stage martial stage cultivator like an adult teasing a kid.
Lintian’s left arm danced forward and gripped Jack’s shoulder than pushes him to the ground. Then Lintian pulled his arm right out of the socket which dislocated his shoulders. Afterwards Lintian sent a kick at Jack sending him smashing into a tree.
“Anyone else wants some?” Lintian asks, staring at Jimmy and Arthur.
“You, you, you, your at the fifth stage of the martial realm? How, how, how old a a are you?” Jimmy stammered pointing at him.
“I’m 8 this year but I am at whatever stage you want me to be,” Lintian answered and there was this evil glint in his eyes and smile that scared Jimmy and Arthur. Like he was not human. He seems like a devil in a child’s body. They could believe if he was in the fifth stage of the martial realm if he was 10 or 11 but 8? That is just not possible. Xintong with the heavenly veins is only in the second stage of the martial realm and she is 3 months away from turning 9.
A couple minutes go. Lintian was in the dream space and has been feeling suffocated. In the dream space it has been almost two weeks and all he did was train and cultivate. Gets kind of boring.
Lintian looks down and saw Lester’s head decapitated. A slight anger surge through his body. Even through he never truly met Lester before he liked Lester’s personality, honest, caring, thoughtful, and truly innocent. These were the gut feeling that Lester’s actions gave him. While he saw Xintong as cold on the outside but caring on the inside. For the past three days he saw Xintong and Lester watching over him carefully. Jack on the other hand was manipulative and was always hiding things. Lintian didn’t really like Jack but never truly hated him until today.
The moment he could wake up Lintian saw that Jack was about to kill Xintong and rushed down to help. The following events happened as stated above.
“I don’t know who you are but you cannot let them get away. If possible kill them,” Xintong said coldly.
Lintian has never killed a human before but the sight of Lester’s death seems to have blurred his better judgement.
“I was planning to do so.” Lintian inter-spatial spacial ring activated and Dr. Harris’s sword popped out. Seeing this action both Jimmy and Arthur retreated a couple steps. Jack got up from laying on the floor. His arm still injured but he swallowed a healing pill and popped his arm back into the socket. He wanted to kill Lintian.
Lintian operated his body skill and charged forward to attack Jimmy first. Since he was in the third stage of the Martial realm. Right now Lintian’s true cultivation is at the first stage of the martial realm but by refining Ancestor and Heaven realm qi his qi became thicker and denser than normal. If someone was to examine it they would think he was in the second or third stage of the martial realm. Then he unconsciously used his new found ability. The tail fox’s special bloodline ability known as the Nine Sun reserve. (If anyone has a better name for it let me know.) So right now he is in the second stage of the Martial realm with the aura and power of a fifth stage.
Jimmy used his Heaven’s qi sword to block Lintian sword. However it did more than that. It actually slices through Dr. Harris’s sword. When Lintian saw this in slow motion he lets go of the sword and activated his ring once more to bring out his uncle’s qi knife.

Then used the Emperor’s step and disappeared. Jimmy still stunned by Lintian disappearance did not notice that Lintian already jammed a heaven qi knife through his heart already and once more Lintian disappeared like the wind. With Lintian’s superior cultivation and speed there were no competition at all. In a split second Lintian was in front of Arthur. Arthur reacted by retreating backwards. He only had the time to retreat backwards because Lintian letted him. Smiling Lintian was like the death God himself. Disappearing and reappearing in split seconds. Lintian used his knife and stabbed it right through his heart too. Then from the corner of his eyes Lintian saw a shuriken like object flying towards him.
Lintian used his knife to par it. Then more and more came flying at him. Right now Lintian’s mind was in battle mode and no emotions were even in sight. You can say that his Asura counter part is activated right now. Lintian grabs Arthur’s body and used it as a shield.
Plup, plup, plup, plupplupluplupluplup. Lintian then disappears from behind Arthur and
reappears behind Jack. Jack sensing this and used instant speed too, to move alway from Lintian. He also used the same technique as Xintong and raised his cultivation to the sixth stage of the Martial realm.
“Hahaha not bad you force me to use this forbidden skill,” Jack shouted. In order to weaken the backlash he only raise two stages instead of three.
Xintong’s heart was beating fast like a rabbit on caffeine while looking in awe at Lintian’s battle prowesses. She was called a genius herself but looking at Lintian who was the same age as her she felt admiration. She also felt unworthy of being called a genius.
Lintian did not replied at all and continued to attack and attack. They were blocking and attacking each other like crazy maniacs. Jack wanted to kill Lintian as soon as possible but Lintian’s speed and attack were equal to his. It frightened Jack because he still felt that Lintian was toying around with him. It felt like Lintian knew every single one off his movements. Like he could see the future.
Lintian on the other hand was not feeling overpowered at all. With the dragon eyes activated he could see Jack’s moves arrive before Jack can even think of it. Furthermore he still haven’t revealed Kyuri who was eager to battle too. At the moment Lintian wants to get use to this new battle realm as fast as he could and he felt that Jack had the right amount of power to do so and won’t endanger himself.
Five minutes later they separated and stood 20 feet away from each other.
“We have no grudge between us why are you trying to kill me? I even saved your life,” Jack shouted out.
“True that we have no grudge between us but I saw you trying to kill a defenseless girl. Also you somehow just piss me off,” Lintian said. He pretended that he doesn’t know what he is talking about because if he did then there would be more questions to answer.
“I saved your life when she wanted to abandon you and yet you try to kill me,” Jack shouted.
“You tried to use him as bait,” Xintong yelled out in desperation because she knows how much of a sweet tongue Jack was.
“Your life is in my hands,” Jack said, “or else you would have died with the demonic beasts.”
“I highly doubt it,” interjected Lintian, “while I was recovering my cultivation I used a demonic beast repeller to keep away demonic beast from my location. Do you really believe a demonic beast would come near me. You were just being a busy body.”
Jack only kept talking to stall for time to charge his wind qi to used wind shuriken. Twenty spinning shuriken floated in the air around Jack.
Aww man, Lintian thought this is bad. One of the shuriken shot toward Lintian but Lintian dodged and the shuriken bounced back like a boomerang.
Then twenty of those shurikens all came charging at him. Lintian counted each one and notice that one did not leave. One was aiming for Xintong. The whole reason Jack sticked around was to kill Xintong.
Lintian called out Kyuri and Kyuri bursted and moved at lightning speed to block the shuriken. He used his claws to obliterate the shuriken.
The 19 other shurikens buzzes around Lintian like a swarm of bees. Lintian dodges, pars, but it always boomerang around. A tight control was not possible so Lintian aways had room to dodge and move. Then Lintian saw an opening and used his Emperor’s step and escaped. Then he charged toward Jack. Jack saw this created more shuriken to attack Lintian with. Lintian kept on using the emperor’s steps to move around and around. And then used his knife to aim for Jack’s head. Jack parried the attack but he saw the 19 wind shurikens flying at him. Jack controlled the shurikens to go around him but in that small window of time Lintian’s knife pierce through his chest. In the moment that Jack’s thought shifted Lintian used that window of opportunity to finish him off.
Lintian pulled out the knife and Jack fell down onto the floor and the wind shuriken dissipated into thin air. Lintian looks around coolly seeing the three people he killed. His mind was still as clear as day. The only problem is he doesn’t feel anything from their deaths. No joy, no guilt, and not even and ounce of sadness. Just satisfaction.
