Book 3 Chapter 3: Double Knock Out

When Lintian begins to try and do research on the watch he realized that this watch wasn’t a high tech watch. It was primitive and only had the ability to tell time. He also realizes at that moment if the guard finds out he has it. He would literally be dead.

Lintian gets up from the floor phases through the wall until he arrives outside and through the watch as far out as he could but just before he did he placed a tracer spell on it that was undetectable to everyone but him.

Then he phases back through two walls and into his prison cell. After that he phases into the metal cocoon the guard kindly made earlier. He then slept until morning.

Luckily the guard didn't even know his watch was stolen by Lintian.

“Follow me,” the guard said as he releases Lintian from his binds.

He brought Lintian before a pillar that was engrave with coiling dragons. It gave off an ephemeral feeling. Three and a half feet from the ground was a hole that was about three inches wide that all the dragons’ head that was coiling around the pillar pointed towards. It seems like it was the center piece that gave life to the pillar.

“I’ll explain for you. If you can light up this pillar it means you have the bloodline of a dragon. This pillar does not test for specific dragon bloodline but it does test if you are a true dragon blood descendent or if you’re a fake,” he explains seriously. “Now put your dick in it.”

“I’m sorry repeat that one more time?” Lintian asks a bit flabbergasted.

“Put your dick in it.”

“You mean the hole?”

He roles his eyes and nods his head.

“Can you tell those other people in the room to move away please? It is a bit awkward doing this in front of so many people.”

“Do you have a problem with your dick?”

“Can you explain why it has to be the dick?”

“How else are we going to test your dick to be part of the bloodline?”

“Why would I test my dick to be part of the bloodline?” Lintian mutters in confusion. Then begins to walk over.

See as he has no choice in this matter Lintian walks over and pulls his down and pulls out his little dragon.

“What the fucking hell are you doing pulling out your fucking little wanker like that? Put that back into your pants! Young people these days mind are always so dirty.” The guard screams. Then he pulls out a knife and begins to walk towards Lintian.

Lintian’s first instinct was to run but his mind told him that if he did he was a dead man. The man’s movement wasn’t fast but it wasn’t slow. Lintian couldn't move even if he wanted too. The guard grabs Lintian’s hand and uses the knife to cut his hand. Blood gushes out a little as the guard then thrusts Lintian’s hand into the hole.

A shot of qi was blasted into his hand and the pillar begins to light up.

“You have a dragon bloodline congratulations. You are now a citizen of our country.”

“You know if you wanted me to put blood in there you should have just said blood.”

“We did say dick multiple times. You pulled out your wanker for god knows what.”

“Okay, okay my bad. It might be the translation piece. Question wouldn't it be easier if I had shown you my eyes instead?”

“Not every dragon bloodline has the dragon eyes and cultivators can also use illusions to fake it. Now get out of my sight I have many other things I have to do,” he mutters and looks at his hand.

This gave Lintian a little fright but

“Before I leave can you tell me where the people that brought me here lives?” Lintian asks politely.

“No. Your ride is here. They will take you over to the city to get your documentations and from now on you will be an official level three citizen of Confederate Nation.”

After hearing that Lintian didn't feel like staying any longer incase it pisses him off or he finds out he was the one that stole the watch.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

After leaving the jail house there was a giant eagle waiting outside with a harness at its back. The eagle was literally half the size of a jumbo jet. There was a man on its back with two other passengers. There was also a chest on the back of the eagle. that was the size of a closet.

Lintian hops onto the eagle and took a seat. After a couple more minutes the eagle soars into the sky. This was actually a perfect opportunity to check out where he was. Sadly after looking around he found that none of the scenery was familiar to him.

After a couple hours Lintian arrives at a city. The city was huge but it was very ancient like. There was an enormous wall that surrounded the city. By Lintian’s estimates it should stand about 1 whole mile off the ground. The whole city was also fortified with spell arrays. The buildings were made from brick, wood, and other materials. At the center of the city however it was different. There was a spell array that prevents Lintian from seeing.

The giant eagle landed outside the city gate. After giving the city gate guards a piece of paper everyone was let in.

Lintian was then brought to the city hall where he got his papers and certificates. Then the person at the office place some kind of spell array on Lintian. Lintian could tell it was just a identification array and possess no harm.

After that Lintian was handed a piece of purple stone and was told not to lose it. Lastly he was kicked out onto the street.

“Well, that was advent full,” Lintian said to himself. “It doesn't look like I am in the America or China. I have heard of the Confederate states but with this city size it should be way more high tech then this. From the looks of it. They don’t seem to have cars. It doesn't seem like I was in a trunk before either.”

So far in the city he has only seen carts pull by horse or other animals.

“The Xiang guy said he got these headphones from a shop,” as Lintian was saying this to himself it suddenly struck him that he might not be in his own world anymore. Except the problem is that it is not possible. The frequency of this world is still the same as Earth. The only other explanation is that he is on another continent that is almost cut off from the rest of the world. If that was the case then how is this piece of tech able to get in? All these thoughts were making Lintian very confused. The other problem is if this technology exist on this continent or world then why is it not used to its fullest potential. Why only use these as trinkets?

First things first I have to go find this group that brought me here. They said something about a colosseum.

Lintian then walks over to a to a total stranger.

“Hi sir can you tell me where the colosseum is?” Lintian asks.

The old man looks at Lintian like he has mental problems. He shakes his head in disapproval and points toward a colosseum like building. It was like the one used in ancient Rome except newer and cleaner looking.

“Thank you.”

Lintian then jogs off to the colosseum as he takes in the surrounding view. At the colosseum the whole place was bustling. There were street vendors, performers, dancers, singers, and a whole variety of cultures mixed together. Lintian also notices that everyone here was a cultivator. Not a single mortal was in sight. Everyone single one of them were at the very minimum in the martial realm and the highest were master realm.

As Lintian arrives at the gate of the Colosseum where there is a line of people trying to get in.

“It is 5 silver coins to enter,” the guard would say emotionlessly to the people trying to enter.

After hearing that Lintian knew he was a penniless broke here. The only other choice was for him to sneak in.

Lintian ran around the colosseum until he reach a spot where no one could see him. At that spot he notices that there were two people following him. Lintian took a glance at them before they even knew he saw them.

So thats why they let me out so easily, Lintian thought to himself. They knew they can’t get any sort of useful information from me if I stayed so they decided to have people follow me in order to know the information are legit.

Knowing this there was only one course of action he could take. He ran behind a bush and begins to busy him with letting out excess liquid. After finishing Lintian ran back into the crowd.

He then chose to set down on a bench and observe the people going in and out of the place. As he sat there he thought of ways to get in and he thought of five ways each with their own pros and cons.

1. Borrow money from one of these people.

2. Ask those people following him for 5 silver coins.

3. Confuse those two and sneak in like planned before.

4. Pickpocket some money from a rich individual here.

5. Use my charms and looks to seduce a girl into bringing me in with her. (Not very likely.)

Then Lintian notices something out of the corner of his eyes. There was a group of cultivator dressed in purple uniforms. Then he saw one of them head into an alley way and a brilliantly stupid idea pops into his head.

Lintian hops of the bench and snuck into the alley way with a giant hammer made from the armament of a thousand transformation technique. Then he use a simple spell to stop the fluctuation of qi from the hammer.

As the purple uniform youth finishes his urination process he felt the hairs on his back tingles. However at this moment, the purple uniform youth scalp suddenly felt numb. He had a bad premonition, and he wanted to reverse the situation, however it was already too late.

Soundlessly and breathlessly Lintian carrying an elephant leg size hammer with a dong sound Lintian smashes it into the back of the cultivator’s head.

The youth screams out in pain. With his strong physic he was able to retain his conscious by concentrating on staying awake with all his might and even wanted to turn around and see who did it.

Except all he saw was another hammer. This time Lintian saw the whites of the youth’s eyes roll backward after being knocked out. Lintian quickly took the youth’s purple clothes and puts it on and ran back into the group with none the wiser.
