Book 2 Chapter 21:Four Dragon Soul Pill
His heart still beating like rapid beating drums Lintian turns around to look at Joe. His poker face on but his mind racing. Did he found out? Did he not shut off the camera?
“Hey Katrina said to come by the Lotus clan manor whenever you have the chance. It is definitely thanks to you that the plan worked and she wants to reward you for it,” Joe said.
“Haha, of course I will pay a visit when I have the chance but I don’t thank I need anymore rewards. Those shadow knives that I received in advance saved my life when I was escaping,” Lintian chuckles out happily.
“No need to be so modest. If it wasn't in your hands I doubt anyone else can execute it with such precision as you did. Still come by and visit sometimes,” Joe said sincerely.
“Definitely, but there is no need to so polite about it. We are friends after all.”
“Hahaha, in that case then I Joe Venter will have you Wei Lintian as a friend for life. If you need anything please ask.”
“In that case I can only say that if anything ever comes up you have to give me a call.”
“Definitely. With your skills any tasks would become incomparably easier.”
“Hey I gotta go back and get some sleep. My body is aching all over,” Lintian said.
“Then I won’t disturb you any further. Have a good night and if you need help give me a call,” Joe said and closes the car door.
Lintian waves his goodbye and enters back into Quincy Middle school. Lintian ran to Dr. Harris’s room on campus.
“Dr. Harris you still awake!?” Lintian shouts out while knocking frantically on his door.
Dr. Harris opens the door slouched over in a very sleepy and tired position. His eyes drooping and dark bags under his eyes.
“Lintian what?” he grumbled.
“I need your help really”
“GO TO SLEEP! TELL ME TOMORROW!” BANG! The door was shut.
“Ok…..”
“He sure is grumpy,” Rashu interjects.
“Yeah he doesn't like to be waked in the middle of his beauty sleep.”
“Anyway since we have those pills you should start and make a break through to the Master realm. I can sense that you Dantian is brimming and exploding with qi.”
“Yeah I feel it too. I feel like even if I don't do anything it will break through in my sleep.”
“You remember where my cave that I was hiding in was?” Rashu asks.
“Yes,” Lintian replies as he began to run back out of the school gates. Kyuri came out of his beast box. Since Lintian needs to make a breakthrough to the Master realm he did not complain about flying Lintian to the cave.
When Lintian got there he saw the cave again but the entrance was caved in and covered with rocks. Some parts of the rock glistened against the moonlight.
Rashu flew through rocks and into the cave and came back out.
“It is perfect. There is an area in the cave that has just enough room for you to cultivate. Furthermore the ceiling has a hole that allows the exchange of air of the outside and inside.”
“Okay,” Lintian answers as he walks toward the wall. Activating the fazing technique he fazes through the wall and found the roomy area that Rashu was talking about. Lintian actually felt a dense concentration of qi here. It seems the qi gathering array still hasn't faded yet.
“This is actually the perfect time to use the Four Soul Dragon Pill,” Rashu chuckles happily.
“What do you mean?”
“First I should give you a brief history about it. The first Four Dragon Soul Pill was created over two million years ago by a Titan realm alchemist name Fen Du Thao. He wanted to be able to control all four of the basic elements. Wind, fire, water and earth. He researched it very meticulously for a hundred years until he got some initial insights into it. It wasn't for another thousand years when he actually reached the Emperor’s realm himself that he created the perfect Four Dragon Soul Pill.”

“So was he able to control all four elements?” Lintian interrupts out of curiosity since Rashu paused for a second.
“Yes, but he made slight miscalculation. It seems that the Four Dragon Soul Pill’s effect decreases as your cultivation increases. Since he at it when he was in the Emperor’s realm his ability to control all four elements was simply only at grade D, but he was not demoted since his only goal was to control all four elements and once that it is achieved he can just grind his control. He then passed on his recipe to his disciples without the research he did on millions of test subjects. Furthermore the Four Dragon Soul Pill can only be created once every one thousand years hypothetically speaking if nothing goes wrong. Sometimes none gets made in a 10 thousands year period. It requires exactly 10,000 ingredients to make with a failure rate of 95%. 2,000 of those ingredients are grade 3. 3,000 grade 5. 4,000 grade 7. 980 grade 9. 13 grade 10. 2 grade 11. The grade 11 are the main reason why they can only create 1 every thousand years. It is because it takes 1000 years for one of those grade 11 to mature. The last five ingredients is the blood and essence from 4 types of supreme dragons of four their respected elements that are in the titan realm. Fire, water, earth, and wind. Also the blood of a phoenix that has reached the peak of the titan realm.”
Lintian’s jaw simply drops after hearing all that.
Lintian snapped back to reality and asked, “if it is that hard to require those ingredients why can’t they grow them in batches?”
“The two grade 11 ingredients are not easily grown. It requires the perfect condition in every aspect. The rotation of the sunlight followed by the near perfect fluctuation of yin and yang energy gathered around. It's not like they haven't tried. It was just that it required a hell of lot of money to grow. Especially when it takes a thousand years.”
“Aside from controlling four elements what other benefits are there?” Lintian asks.
“If I remember correctly if you are only in the refinement realm once you eat it you will directly be brought to the Heavens realm. Furthermore it will open all 54 of your meridian points. Not the potential to open all 54 but all 54 will be opened! Your soul will apparently also be changed to be able to cultivate four types of elemental qi all in the exceptional ranking. Fire, water, earth and air. Also if you’re a spell master your rank will directly be brought up to the seventh rank,” said Rashu as he glances at Lintian.
If Lintian’s jaw dropping was an over reaction than Lintian was basically in heaven right now. Not only does he currently possess a priceless treasure but he has two of them. This was basically a treasure that can make a genius out of thin air.
“Then what are the disadvantages?” Lintian asks weakly since with every advantage comes weaknesses.
Rashu’s face turns grave and said, “death! If you don't succeed you will die.”
“What are the chances for success?” Lintian asks abruptly.
“Aside from the Fen Du Thao, only one out of a thousand survived. Only a couple got away with their life intact but their meridian points and dantian were destroyed. Since this pill came into existence 2 million years ago only two thousand of these pills have been created and only three of those who at the pill managed to survive.”
Lintian face turns gloomy. This pill was basically a last resort then?
Seeing Lintian’s gloomy and depressed expression Rashu couldn’t help but smile.
“Luckily you have me here,” Rashu shot Lintian a wink.
Lintian eyes grew wide in excitement at the thought of being the first 15 year old Heaven’s realm cultivator. There has actually been a 14 year old King’s realm cultivator but never a heaven’s realm cultivator under the age of 25. Not only that but he will be the first 15 year old Heaven’s realm cultivator in this world. Unparalleled and under matched in his age group under this sky.
“Hehehehe,” a strange voice echoes through the night.
