"What do you mean you didn't find her cadaver, but you found the remains of the soldiers she killed!?" The Emperor goes into a tantrum fit right after receiving the news about the semi-successful mission to arrest or kill Annabel, Buster, and Thomas with mixed results.
While the Imperial troops managed to kill Thomas and capture Buster, the little girl, out of all, managed to escape and is presumed alive by the Emperor, who refuses to believe that she died without her corpse as proof. "Keep looking for that girl until you get me her head; the family of the nobility she killed is on my heels demanding it. I can't keep failing them!"
"YES SIR! We are terribly sorry, sir! We will resume the search! But if she crossed the border, would it be wise to cross it to keep searching?" The prominent leader of the imperial elite forces, Romeo, asks the Emperor, who nonchalantly slaps the man with so much force it sends the man flying across the room.

"Do you think I care? Cross the border! If any nation tries to hide her, then we will just invade them and annex them next." Romeo stands up to the harsh punishment from his Emperor, and while he hates the leader's ideas and ways of punishing, he doesn't say anything back because nobody can hope to stand up to the Emperor, not even without his armor.
"As you wish, sir, I will use the teleport gates again and resume searching for that girl. As for Buster, what do you want us to do with him?" Romeo asks the Emperor as this one drinks wine from a cup next to his throne. The question of what to do about Buster soon turns the interest of the cold ruler.
"Take him to my torture chamber. I will get information out him myself."
"As you wish, sir."
