"More! Keep the boost coming!" Said the leader of the opposite party as Eclaire prepared L'arc with her boosting spells.

"I, Adamantite adventurer Eclaire, command the heavens, command the earth, I order thee! Bless my target with strength! Kratos Strenght!"

L'arc's body shone bright with every support spell Eclaire was putting on him, but the other was also being boosted by his party, and they had at least five more people boosting their warrior. It wasn't looking good for us until the leader spoke.

"Adamantite adventurers! L'arc and Eclaire! I only want that child next to you dead! I'd rather not spill your guy's blood, too! Surrrender the princess, and you can go on your way!" L'arc gripped his sword harder when he heard the man, but then he relaxed, which worried me.

"You heard that Eclaire? Looks like they only want the Kiddo. Should we abandon them?"

"I don't mind killing some insignificant rats during my shift!" Eclaire grabbed her Axe and pointed it at the opposite team's leader.

"Oh well, you heard her. As for me, I better receive good compensation from your parents, Kiddo!"

I was relieved, but my Toad was nervous. I could feel it shaking with me still mounted on its back. I could feel its natural fear of dangerous predators, so I alerted L'arc.

"L'arc! Be careful! My pet is afraid of that man, and I think it's for a good reason!"

"Got it, Kiddo, but let me show you something! I'm not an adamantine adventurer because of luck! Serious Series! Serious Assault mode!"

When he finished his chant, L'arc flew incredibly fast towards the enemy. He wielded his sword with elegance. He began to dispatch the mages individually as the melee fighter desperately tried to keep up with him. Yet the enemy fighter was not enough.

He was pulverized by L'arc with elegant moves as if dancing with his enemy; it was quite a sight to behold. The guy tried to keep up, but he couldn't. L'arc was cutting him left and right as he spammed himself with healing potions to keep himself alive.

L'arc finished the man by disarming him at the end, and once he had him down on the floor, he left the rest to Eclaire, who tied the man with a shiny rope. From there, it was a matter of time until Eclaire extracted the information they needed. The rest of the group met the same fate quickly.

"Who sent you?" Asked Eclaire as she tightened her grip.

"Fuck you! I'm not telling you shit!" The man foolishly spat on Eclaire's face, who didn't take kindly to his disrespect, only causing himself more damage as she pinned him to the floor with her foot on his face.

"Tell me who sent you before I pop your fucking head open!"

"Ahhhhhg!! It was the prince! It was the prince! Anabel's brother! Ahh!!!!"

My pet frog was still scared, but now I realize it wasn't afraid of the enemies but of L'arc and Eclaire! Yikes! Good thing these two were on my side! I couldn't imagine myself ever getting as strong as them. Their power level was just on another scale!

"Hey, Kiddo, You know why your brother wants you dead?" L'arc asked me as if I knew! I have no idea why he would want to kill me! As far as I know, I don't even know the guy!

"I don't know. Mother joked about killing him before, but I don't think she would try to..."

Wait, this was no time to worry about myself! What if my brother was trying to kill both of my parents!? Was he trying to kill Melons and the king?! I mean, Mom!? We had to meet with my Mother's shadows soon if we wanted any shot at saving them.

"So what? Do you guys think you can just leave us tied here? Hey! Hey! Come back! Heeeey!!"

L'arc and Eclaire wasted no more time before hitting the road again, and since I didn't want to be left behind, I chased after, still a little shaken. And so we rode for another day without incidents.

The night soon showed itself, meaning time for dinner and sleep was also near. We were having a good meal with the supplies we had stolen from the attackers earlier, so we were having a good time next to the fire.

Eclaire and I soon took another bath together as L'arc bathed far away. Still, I couldn't help but feel observed as if he was pepping from a distance. Ah, whatever, I'm not that bothered. Besides, Eclaire had such a Lewd body I wouldn't blame him for pepping on us. I would probably do the same.

We finished our routine for the night and went to sleep; everyone liked sleeping next to the fire, but ever since I got swallowed by the frog, I have chosen to rest next to the Toad's belly as it's soft and warm!

I said my prayers to my original parents and went to sleep.

We were all surprised by what we saw sleeping next to me the following day. As I woke, I saw L'arc and Eclaire ready to question me. Then it hit me. I tried pushing on the Toad's belly, but the air caught my hand.

"Uh?! Whaaaat?!"

"Ehehe! Who is your friend, Kiddo!?"

"Why is she naked!?" Asked Eclaire as if I knew! I have no clue! All I know is her hair is green!

The girl woke up with all the noise from us, and then it hugged me as it smiled and spat out the words "Mom!" I'm it's Mother?! What?! The stat screen said she was seven years old already! Yet she didn't stop hugging me. Then she went to Eclaire and did the same.

Okay, so it calls any female she sees mom, cool. I can live with that.
