The place was filled with different equipments for the excavation and ruin exploration. Five people were standing in the middle around a table and talking. All of them were old people in dirty mining clothes. One of them was Leonard, who was pointing at the map.
When Joseph and Catherine got closer they looked at them and Leonard smiled.
"So you have finally arrived! Welcome to the ruins of Aartheld! Mr. Ronald noticed us that you were coming here."
They introduced themselves, but most of the people there wasn't happy about them.
"Why did they send rookies here? You know this place is more dangerous than a battlefield!"
"Mr. Roland knows what he is doing. Don't worry about it!"
"Don't worry about it? It's just two younglings. We need a group of hardened advanturers."
'We are standing right besids them...'
They were talking for a bit before they agreed to give the two of them a chance. Meanwhile Catherine and Joseph were looking at the table. It had a map on it with a drawing about the city that was underground.
It was a big city with a wall around it and was filled with houses and a tower in the middle. Parts of it had writings on it, or crossed out by lines, some places on the streets had rocks on them and some had the sun marking which was just like the robot's.
When they ended the discussion Leonard turned towards them.
"I see you are already looking at the map. Good!"

He leaned over it and started to explain the markings.
"I think you know what the houses and the tower in the middle are. The crossed out parts are parts that are still underground, because of cave ins. The rocks on the streets are blockades against the armors, which are marked with the sun symbol. Mr. Roland said that we have to evade those, because they are dangerous, so we did. The problem is that, they are moving all around. But they have routes, so we know when to move where."
He showed the safest way in.
"The reason we ned you two is that, we need to deal with these armors and we need to get into the tower somehow."
Joseph was supprised that this whole place had working robots still.
"Why do we need to get in? Is there something interesting inside?"
"Yes. As we know that is a wizard tower. It should have some books, or other kind of writings that hold unknown knowledges."
"You already pointed out a way. Have you ever tried to get through? If so, why couldn't you enter."
One other guy from the back sighed.
"This is why I don't like amateurs."
Leonard shook his head.
"We got to the tower, but you can only enter if you can cast a specific spell."
He reached under the table and pulled out a small box.
"We can't cast spells, but this one should have the required spell."
He opened the box, pulled out a scroll and handed it to Joseph.
"I'll take a look at it."
It was written in english. There were different instructions on a spell, how to cast it, what was needed for it and a few people mentioned on the bottom, who should have the required casting materials.
"It's all good and all, but we need the materials mentioned on it."
Leonard sighed.
"I know. We already found the people mentioned on it because of one of the books we have found in one of the buildings. But the problem is that, the houses they should be in are all defended by one of the armors. We only got into one and found one of the materials."
He signed to one of the other guys. He walked to the back of the tent and grabbed something. He walked up to the group and showed up a ruby, that was as big as his palm.
"So we got the ruby. But we still need the blue moss, golden hair and pink leaf?"
"Yes. They can be found in these houses."
Leonard pointed at three houses.
"This will be dangerous, but you might get them if you time it right."
"Alright. We'll need every information we can have!"
They spoke until it was night, then they went to their designated tents to sleep.
