Joseph opened his eyes. He was lying in a bed in a small room. He sit up and looked around. The room was generally empty, there only was a cupboard next to the bed. On the left side of the room there was a window, where the morning sun shone through. In front of the bed there was a door possibly leading outside. His clothes were layed on the end of the bed.
He stood up and get dressed, meanwhile he noticed some bandages on his body. They weren't bloody, nor dirty. It seemed like someone changed them recently.
'Seems like we got to a town or we reached Krishmar already.'
All of his stuff was in the cabinet, but he left most of the things in there, only took his sword with him. He did not find the black sword though.
'Maybe Catherine took it with her.'
He tried to open the door, but it was locked.
'Nice! They locked me in.'
He knocked on the door, but there was no answer. He sit down on the bed and reread some parts of his book he did not remember that well, while waiting.
After a little more then 10 minutes later he heard a click from the door and it opened up. Catherine entered the room with a tray, which had food and drink on it.

"Good morning! I see you woke up."
She was smiling at him as she brought the food to him.
"Good morning to you too."
She placed the food on the bed.
"Where are we exactly?"
"We are in the Drunken Dwarf in Krishmar. We got here yesterday, after you fainted."
"I see. Did anything happened on the way?"
"Not really. We got worried when you passed out, but there was no problem with you. So we just brought you here and put you in bed. Now eat!"
She pushed the tray in his lap.
"Thank you!"
"Don't mention it!"
He ate the food while Catherine spoke to him.
"This place was recommended by Matthew. A dwarf is the innkeeper and he was really helpful. I got some supplise as well in the morning and asked around for your friend, but we'll speak about that later on. We should go sight seeing first."
"If you think they are not in danger, then we don't have to rush."
"No. She is totally fine. She is working at a place, where we can go and take a look later on."
"Fine by me."
"Nice."
She got up.
"I'll wait for you downstairs."
He noded. She walked out of the room.
'Seems like there will be no problems this time.'
She opened the door again.
"I forgot the key."
She threw it on the bed next to Joseph.
"There."
She closed the door and he heard her walk away from the door.
When he finished he walked out of the room, closed the door and walked to the right on the hallway that was connecting multiple doors, which ones lead to different rooms. He walked down on the stairs and found himself in an inn next to the bar. The place was empty, except for Catherine who was talking with a dwarf.
