Joseph turned around and saw the worm's head above the ground. It was a giant black worm with four triangular parts as it's mouth, which was covered in hundreds of sharp theeth like things. On the side of it's head it had four-four black eyes which were slightly darker then it's skin. Joseph just stopped in place waiting for it to do somthing, but all it did was moving it's head around. Catherine flew over it.
"This thing can't see well. It only feels you moving on the ground. It seems like until you are standing there it won't attack!"
As she was speaking the worm turned to her and followed her with it's head. It jumped up in the air trying to catch her, but she flew out of the way. The worm went back into the ground. Catherine turned to Joseph.
"Ready for the next time it comes up! I'll make it follow me!"
He just looked at her worriedly.
'What does she think? I can't kill this thing!'
He still pulled his wand out and concentrated all his manna into it until he felt tired from the missing mana.
'I hope this will do enough.'
He held it out aiming at her and changed the mana into current. Lightning sparked out of it.
'It is made out of wood so it's gonna be a problem using this spell, but if I use my remaining mana to contain it, this should work.'
After a while Catherine got impatient.
"Where is this worm hiding?"
As she finished the worm jumped out from a third hole, like it was waiting for her to say this. She dodged the attack and the worm's head got into the ground in front of Joseph. He released his spell and a light blue line went from the wand to the worm in an instant, then a small lightning stroke out into the creature.

The sound was deafening. After it his ears were ringing. After that stopped he heard Catherine shouting.
"It wasn't enough! Move before it gets back!"
"Where? If I move it will know where I am!"
She flew down to him, but before she reached him the worm came up from below Joseph.
"No!"
He fell in it's mouth, but before it could've closed it's mouth a flash of light came from Cathering which hit the creature behind it's mouth. It cut the worms head part down in one go. The worm stopped moving and Catherine got down on the ground.
"If you want to kill a thing like this, you need a spell that is at least this strong."
She head chop him.
"Ouch! You know I don't have enough mana for a spell like that!"
"Excuses. Then practice even more."
As they were speaking the worm started to move again and it went below ground once again without it's head. They were quiet supprised by this. Catherine grabbed him and flew up in the sky with Joseph.
"It seems like it will take a little bit more then this to kill it."
Joseph thought about what was happening and had an idea.
"I think it is just like normal worms. If you cut it, it can stil live on. But without it's mouth I think it will die."
Just as he finished the worm jumped out from a hole it already made. It had it's head on it. Catherine barely dodged it.
"What is going on?"
As it slammed into the ground they saw it's end and it was missing from it.
"It had an other head on it's other end?!"
It jumped out again.
"Put me down and kill it."
"I know!"
Catherine flew down and put Joseph on the ground, but just as she flew up the worm caught her and cought her in it's mouth. They went below ground.
"Catherine!"
He felt a rumble from below and saw light coming from the hole. He dived on the ground. Pillars of flames came out from all the holes which were nearby.
"Oh my god. What did happened?"
He looked down once again and saw Catherine flying up. Her clothes were burnt and she had saliva all over her. She frowned and showed a very disgusted look on her face.
"This disgusting thing!"
She pulled out a wand and moved it around herself. After a moment she was clean like nothing happened.
"I can see why did they blow up the mountains, just to kill them. They are just as disgusting as slimes!"
Joseph was glad, but thought different.
'I don't think that makes that action justified. It was most likely because it is hard to find and kill them.'
"Now back to the village!"
Joseph turned around to walk back, but Catherine stopped him.
"I think we should look around for eggs. It would be bad if they would hatch just after we leave."
'I knew. She wants to destroy those as well.'
"Alright. If you want to, we can do that as well."
She sit down once again and started to cast the location spell.
