They traveled for a week before they've found another village called the east village of Limsal, a city in the mountains not that far away from Jalms. The time went by peacefully until they were leaving that village.
Just as they were leaving they saw that people were gathering on the sides of the roads and were watching three people riding a horse going south. Two of them looked like regular soldiers, but the one in the front was different.
It was a beautiful woman with red hair and eyes. She was wearing plate armor and two greatswords on her back and a spiked whip on her hip.
'Who are they?'
Everyone was watching with ave as they went by, Joseph's group stood at the side with the horses and watched them gallop by.
As they were passing by, the woman on the front suddenly turned her head and looked at Joseph, who froze for a moment.
She didn't say anything, just turned forward once again and left with her party and the crowd started to disperse.
'What was that? Did I look suspicious or something?'
Catherine touched the shoulder of a man next to them.
"Who were those three?"
The man answered her surprised.
"You don't know? That was the hero, Rosaline. She stayed behind in Fort Denheim to make sure there are no demons, while the others left already."
Then he leaned close and whispered to her.
"Also she is a bloodthirsty demon slayer. People say that she smiles while slashing them apart and while she is killing them everything around her is red from blood, hence for she got the nickname of Blood Red Rose."

He chuckled as he walked away back to his business.
"Gossipy guy... Joseph, should we wait until they get further away?"
"Why wait? She is a demon hunter and probably kills other monsters as well. I don't think we would have many problems with her if we meet them."
"If you say so. But I don't really want to get involved with heroes."
"Really? Why?"
She just frowned and looked the other way.
"Bad memories."
"I see... But is this the same hero?"
"No?"
"Then why would it be a problem."
She sighed.
"Whatever."
They got on their horses and galloped the same direction the hero's party went to.
The day went by peacefully, there weren't any threats or problems on the road. The sun was shining and the flowers covered fields had a nice view on the side of the road.
As the dark started to get darker they saw a campsite on the side of the road. It was the people they saw in the city. They set up a camp with two tents and a campfire, which the three of them were sitting next to.
Joseph's party got closer and they got off the horses. He walked up to them smiling pleasantly.
"Greetings! Care if we set up tents near to yours?"
Rosaline stood in front of him. After slightly bowing she spoke in a nice tone.
"Greetings to you. We are glad to share the camp. But first, you should introduce yourselves."
"Of course. Where are my manners. I'm Joseph Smith, a novice magician."
He held out his hand towards Catherine.
"She is my mentor Catherine and the other one is Arborus."
Arborus seemed annoyed by how he just introduced him.
"It is nice to meet you. My name is Rosaline, one of the heroes of Esnar. These two are my guards Charles and Michael."
They just looked up and nodded to them.
"It is nice to meet you."
"Same!"
"Forgive their manners, but they don't trust anyone."
For a second she looked troubled as she looked at Joseph, then a window popped up in front of Joseph.
[???
Who are you and what are you doing here?]
Joseph was surprised because it looked different from the usual ones.
Rose drew out one of her swords and held it towards Joseph. Meanwhile, her guards stood up.
"Who are you and why did you come here?"
Joseph held up his hands.
'What is this? Why does she want to attack me all of a sudden?'
"Excuse me, but I don't know what are you talking about."
Another window popped up.
[Hy
It's me again. Wait for a second, I have to talk to Esnar for a moment.]
'What is she talking about?!'
"So you don't want to speak? Fine by me!"
She stroke down with her sword lightning fast. Joseph had no time to answer it.
