A hooded figure over 2 meters in height stood ready with his bow to shoot down the deer in front of him. But the young noble kid did not want him to shoot it down.
"Because I'm the land lord's son, I have the right to kill it!"
He jumped in front of Marcus, who let loose of the arrow and shot the kid in the back. They couldn't save him and went back to the land lord with his body.
The lord wasn really sad about what happened, but was understanding with what happened. He let the hunter and the guards of his kid go without punishment. So the hunter returned to his job with guilt inside of him.
Next day after hunting he was on the way home, but saw big smoke coming from the house. He rushed back as fast as he could, but only found out that his house with his children and wife was burnt inside. Later he got the news from the guards, that the land lord's punishment for the guards was death and for him it was loosing what he loved most in the world.
In his rage he went to the mansion of the lord with some of his friends and the guards family members and killed every single guard and people there. Lastly they reached the lord who was covering in his bedroom. They tortured and after hours killed him. He bursted into tears. But instead of sadness or anger, he only felt one thing. It was pleasure.
He woke up in the bed sweating. The memory of his best hunt was still giving him thrills. He wanted to have that feeling again. After the lord he hunted hundreds of people, but never felt the same happines. It was always blank. He did not even flinch when he killed kids and women. But this time he got a worthy prey. He hoped that this will give him the feelings he wants.

He weared the armor he got for this one run and sit on his horse. The prey was on the way to east, so he headed the same way. It took him a few days to reach a forest with a village of elfs. They weren't friendly and wanted him to leave. Unfortunatelly he got no information about the one he was searching for, but just before he left he heard about the two mages who killed the giant worm. they headed to Krishmar.
"Bingo!"
He set out on the road to the city. He knew this road well. It was a few days to reach the city on a horse back. But there was some inconvinience on the way.
He ran into people runing from Fort Denheim. Appereantly the place was under siege by some demons or what not. This wasn't a problem for him, but the people who he met with brang some wyverns and a dark armored knight with them.
"Son of a ..."
He let go of three arrows in quick succession. They passed through the three lizards and the knight fell down. It seemed kind of angry from what happened.
"You need something stronger then those lizards if you want to hunt me!"
The knight rushed towards him, but he was faster. He drew his longswords and cut the knight's sword and body in half with one swing. It fell down with a big clank.
"Huh! That's all? Did not worht my time!"
He noticed the empty armor, but did not mind it. He turned to the runaways.
"What can you give me for saving your lifes?"
They turned to eachother.
"We have a few gold coins."
He looked at them. They had tattered clothes and some really old wagons.
"You know what? Keep it!"
He picked up the cores of the monsters and jumped on his horse. The man he talked to walked next to him and bowed.
"Thank you kind sir!"
"Thank it to your god, that I was here!"
He went on his way to the city.
"I have to be fast or my prey leaves the place before me. It has been three weeks that they left before I got hired."
