Leon and his friends Samuel and Keith are currently hanging out in the upperclassmen area of the academy, more specifically the second year. It was lunch break and they had already eaten their lunch.
They were just standing around, not doing anything, which caused most of the second years to complain.
"Isn't those kids from the Class 1-F...? What are they doing here?"
"I don't have any clue. And it seems like that guy who defeated Karl Stuart is also there..."
"I bet Karl is planning something for him already. Only time could tell..."
"Enough of talking about those two, dude. Let's go grab our lunches!"
They agreed to stop discussing about Leon and Karl and they went on their way to buy their lunches.
When news of Karl Stuart's plans to duel with Leon meet Sophie, she felt somewhat guilty that she wouldn't get to support her twin brother in his time of need...
And the same thing happened to James and Alexandra who is in their senior years... well, the reason why they can't support their brother is because of their social standings...
Sophie was disheartened and depressed when she heard about the news... so she bent her head on her desk and began to cry inwardly...
'Only if I'd somehow convinced Leon to come to the academy as himself.... then none of this wouldn't have happened...' Sophie thought, as she tried to keep her emotions in tact.
'Why...? Why does everything have to fail apart? I thought that Leon and I would come to the academy together until we graduated. I won't let that Karl Stuart guy ruin my twin brother's academy life!' (Sophie)
Sophie clenched her fist underneath her desk. She wasn't paying attention to what's going on around her.. which made her classmates speculate about her mood.
She was deep in thoughts.
"Hey Sophie! What's wrong with you? You don't seem to be feeling well..."
Sophie heard a voice calling out to her. At first she was hoping that the person would eventually go away.
"Sophie, come let's go and get some fresh air! Maybe then you'll recover..."
"No. I don't feel like doing anything today. So please g away...." Sophie responded to the person with a cold voice.
Sophie was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't know who was calling her name... Daniella sighed and was about to touch her, but Sophie instantly snapped and turned around to give the person who disturbed her a piece of her mind.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
But when she turned to face the person who had disturbed her, she saw her best friend Daniella attempting to reach her.
"Oh, it's you, Daniella..." Sophie answered, with somewhat of an confused look on her face.
"Sorry, did I disturb you? " Daniella asked. "What's wrong with you? You don't seem to be feeling alright!"
Sophie sighed heavily as she hesitated to reply to her best friend.
"It's nothing.... it's just that someone who I care about is in some sort of trouble... and I don't know what to do. " she explained to Daniella.
"Oh.... speaking of 'trouble', you know that guy who beat Karl Stuart, right...?" Daniella asked, and Sophie nodded.
"Yes..."
"Apparently Karl is planning on dueling with him. And from what I've heard, that guy is probably going to lose!" Daniella informed Sophie about the duel.
"What, are you serious?!!" Sophie exclaimed, trying to hide her emotions.
Daniella didn't want to bother Sophie anymore, so she decided to leave her alone for the day, since she wasn't apparently feeling well.
She sat down in her seat, as she tried to keep herself occupied... as she glanced over at her best friend, she saw that her best friend looked sad.
Daniella moved closer to Sophie and began to comfort her.
Alexandra and James had also heard about the duel between their little brother and Karl Stuart.
They was just sitting down in a room.
There was nothing that they could do other than watch how things plays out. That's only if they were willing to compromise and reveal the identity of Leon, their brother.
Leon, Samuel and Keith continues to hang out in the Second year student area. And while being stared at by most of the second year students.
"As any of you guys noticed that we are being stared at...?" Keith whispered to both Leon and Samuel.
Leon gave a confused look. But Samuel just grinned smugly.
"Maybe they are gazing at my awesomeness!"
"Probably something isn't right..." Leon suggested to them. "I feel weird all of a sudden..."
"Oh, come on! It could be your imagination or something!" Samuel said, as he threw his arms around Leon's shoulders.
They continued to hang out at the second year students area, not knowing anything and with Leon still feeling weird.
'I can't shake off this weird feeling... it's like something or someone dangerous is after me. But, what could that be...?' (Leon)
Leon was thinking about his weird feelings he suddenly got. His mind was racing and he was trying to figure out how he got that strange feeling.
Suddenly, they heard a commotion of some sort. It was coming from the entrance of the second year students area.
"Move! Where's that peasant boy from Class 1-F?!"
All of the students who was there were shocked to see Karl Stuart there searching for Leon. They all began to move out of his way, creating a walkway for him.
"I feel sorry for that guy for getting Karl Stuart so mad..."
"Yeah, I had never seen him so mad before... he feels strange. "
"Hmm. Something surely feels abnormal about the way how he's behaving..."
The students were discussing between themselves about the reasons why Karl Stuart was suddenly interested in fighting with Leon. To the students, it had seen as if he had forgotten about the duel stuff.
"Show me where that guy is! I'm ready for my rematch!" Karl exclaimed.
As he walked past the students, they could feel that the atmosphere around him felt strange and weird. No one couldn't explain why he was acting that way to Leon... but they felt sorry for him.
Leon froze up in fear and staring at him.
Karl walked up to him and loomed over him, smiling evilly.
"I'm back for my revenge, peasant. I want a duel." He said in a threatening way.
'I thought that he'd forgotten about me. I'm really scared right now...' Leon thought to himself.
'In anime and manga, and light novels it's the main girl who usually challenge the protagonist to a duel... but I don't think it's the best thing to refuse to duel with this guy.' (Leon)
'Goodbye to my peaceful life...'
