".... Guys I think we're surrounded by monsters right now, you know?" Alexis reminded her teammates about the situation that was unfolding in front of their eyes.

"Yeah, please tell us something we don't know, genius." Scott responded with a sarcastic remark.

The students were being pushed out of the abandoned village by a horde of monsters. There were no place where the students could go, apart from the path where they came into to the village from.

Back in the dense forest, that was dimly lit and getting darker and darker as time passes.

Leon didn't know what to say or do to save his teammates who trusted him to lead them to victory.

"So, what are going to do, captain? Tell us so that we could know what to do!" Scott asked Leon while they were being pushed back.

"Come on, tell us something! 'cuz I don't wanna die!" Alexis joined in. Asking him questions on what they should do.

"Feel free to start...."

'Did I really lead my teammates to their deaths.....? I don't want to die so soon! I still want to see Sophie and Daniella reunite with each other.... this sucks! I gotta come up with something quick!'

'I just can't let them run carelessly into the forest without any plans. I've got to come up with something fast!" (Leon)

As the monsters advanced closer to the students, the much more smaller and agile ones escaped from the pack and started heading towards the students with full speed.

They were doglike\wolf monsters. Along with a bunch of Goblins and Orks.

"Uhh... what are we going to do, captain? You don't expect us to stand here and do nothing and let these monsters kill us!" Emma asked.

"God damnit! Just say something to at least get us out of this situation you brought us in!" Scott said with frustration.

"......."

'What should I do? Everything is so stressful! I shouldn't have taken the opportunity to be the team's captain, ugh! Maybe it's the best for us to fight until we die.. I know that this may sound stupid right now, but if we respawn somewhere else it may be a good plan!' (Leon)

So Leon raised his hands.

"Umm, maybe we should try and fight against the monsters until we die and respawn somewhere else.!" Leon finally gave his answer.

Everyone's eyes opened wide in shock and jaws draped. They were all staring at him as if he'd said something out of line, which he did.

"What? So your plans are for us to kill ourselves fighting against a whole pack of monsters?" Emma suddenly raised her voice and asked those questions.

"Are your plans to kill us out? 'Cuz it seems that way...."

"Is that your plan?"

Alice remained quiet while everyone else was freaking out about Leon's plan. She was just backing up alongside the other members of the Blue team.

"I, it's either we fight and get killed or we do nothing and still end up dead. It's up to you to choose which way you would like to go out!" Leon said.

Having no choice, everyone agreed to fight along with their captain Leon.

Suddenly one of the much more smaller and agile monsters lunges at the Leon, trying to bite and scratch him.

Having no choice, he used the metal rod he had to stop the wolf monster body and it's powerful claws and jaws.

"Phew! I finally did it.... I stopped the monster's claws!" Leon said while he was struggling to hold off the wolf monster.

Using one of his feet he kicked the wolf monster off of him. It's body disintegrated into a couple of pieces, just like the ones that he'd defeated earlier.

Scott also defeated some other monsters, along with Emma and Alice. While Alexis tried to use her healing magic to heal everyone....

Meanwhile at the Blaze family mansion, Brandon and his father Sylvester was sitting in Sylvester's private study.

The study was dimly lit, with the only source of light coming from a candle on sys ester's desk filled with important looking papers.

But Sylvester wasn't working on anything.

"How's Leon and Sophie, father? I hope they're doing alright..."

"Yes, it seems so. They're doing quite well at the academy. But that's not why I called you here for." Sylvester said to Brandon, with his voice and face turning serious.

"Huh, then what's the reason why you Summoned me?"

'What could be the reason why father summoned me to his private study for? It's unlikely for him to do that....' (Brandon)

"Brandon, since you're the next Head of the House of Blaze in the future, I thought that I should have a chat with you." Sylvester said to him.

"Oh~"

"I want to carry you with on the next time I travel to the Imperial Capital. Is that alright with you, son?" Sylvester informed Brandon.

Brandon took in a deep breath before answering his father.

"Yes, of course! It would be an honor!" Brandon exclaimed excitedly.

"That's all. You may leave now."

So Brandon left his father's study and continued with his daily chores.

'Hopefully Leon, Sophie, Alexandra and James are doing well....' (Sylvester)

'Hopefully my siblings are doing fine...' (Brandon)

Brandon thought to himself as he walked down the corridor to the garden.
