"Please excuse me, students. I'm going to ask for permission from the Principal. So, please remain quiet!" Ava explained to the children, as she prepared to leave the class.

"Yes ma'am!"

"Sure thing, go ahead..."

The students responded to their homeroom teacher with excitement and with some hesitation. They didn't exactly know if they were allowed in the VR room.

"One question before you go, miss Ava..." One of the students raised their hands and ask a question..

"Yes!! Go ahead and ask your questions, Emma!"

"Y, yes ma'am!"

Emma, the girl who'd just asked Ava the question stood slowly, showing some nervousness. Ava Sighs.

She was wearing the school's uniform but was missing the Navy blue blazer. She has brown eyes and brown skin, and a she has a brownish colored hair, with a cute hairstyle and face that matches.

"Umm, what kind of training are we going to do in VR?"

"Ah, that was your question, Emma? That's a good question. Well, we're going to be doing a stimulating that feels like you're in a rea lcombat situation." Ava explained to the Class 1-F students.

"Uh?"

"What? Are you kidding with us?"

"You gotta be kidding me...!"

"Combat training? Isn't that too advanced?"

Miss Ava shock her head.

Everyone in the class were utterly shocked after they heard what their class teacher had just said.

' Virtual reality, huh? I'd never expected to hear about VR in this world. VR games, huh? Well, I shouldn't be all that surprised, since there's cars, guns, and modern-day trains in this world...' (Leon)

Leon sat down in his seat and, and deep in his thoughts. He too was taken aback by what miss Ava had said.

"Alright! I'll head out now, to get the permission! Oh, and Emma, tomorrow please come to class in your full uniform, okay?"

Before Ava left she warned Emma, and she left the classroom skipping along the way to the Principal's office.

While walking to the Principal's office, she saw a familiar person walking down the corridor to her, heading to the Class 1-F classroom. As they passed each other, they greeted each other.

"Good morning, miss Ava.."

"Morning, Samuel. I see that you're running late this morning!"

"Sorry..."

'This morning is the worst!' (Samuel)

Leon rested his head on the table, he didn't know what to do since he hadn't talked to anyone from his class. He was completely useless in this situation...

'Everyone here seems to be quite good at communicating.... What should I do?!" (Leon)

"Your name's Leon, right?"

One of his classmates spoke to him. As he looked up he saw a boy from his class looming over him, looking kind of scary.

"Uh, yeah... What's up? What do you want?" Leon asked.

"N, nothing. I just wanted to introduce myself to you! The name's Scott!" The boy introduced himself to Leon.

"Nice to meet you, Scott! My name is Le-"

"-Everyone in class knows who you are. In fact, everyone in the school knows who you are! You're the guy who defeated Karl Stuart!" Scott cut off Leon and complemented him.

"Oh, so everyone knows....?"

"Yeah, you're practically famous around the first years in the academy, Dude!" Another guy who was sitting in of them turned around and said to Leon.

"Haha~ is that so?" Leon laughed awkwardly...

"Yes, he's telling the truth. But just between you and me, watch your back. Because Karl doesn't like getting embarrassed, especially in public." Scott whispered to Leon.

'Yeah, I'm doomed....' (Leon)

Leon sunk into his seat. At that moment, the classroom door open and Samuel entered into the classroom. He didn't greet anyone and just sat in his seat.

Everyone had stopped what they were doing and watched as Samuel entered the classroom. No one didn't expect Samuel to come to school today...

'What's wrong with him? He seems to be in a bad mood this morning....' ,(Leon)

"That Samuel guy thinks he's better than us, hmm!" Scott mumbled as he returned to his seat.

A few more minutes later, Ava returned to the Class with a huge smile on her face.

"Okay, get ready kids! Now we'll be going to the VR training room!" Ava exclaimed to the entire class.

"Although there are ten of you guys, please form a single line and follow me."

Without wasting any time, all ten of the Class 1-F students got up and exited the classroom. And began walking behind Miss Ava to the VR training room.

'The school compound looks really empty! Shouldn't there be people doing military drills in the compound?' (Leon)

"Look, isn't that the class 1-F students? What are they doing?"

"I dunno. Seems like they're going somewhere. Let's just leave them alone and focus on ourselves!"

"Alright, alright. Geez!"

As they walked across the academy's compound, all of the Uperclassmen and other classes were staring at them, making some of the 1-F students feel unmotivated to do anything.

"Everyone is staring at us now. What should we do?" Emma asked Ava.

"Just don't focus on any of them, alright? Soon we'll be at the training area." Ava responded to Emma's question.

"Alright...."

Alice was acting timid and shy as they walked to the VR training room. To Leon, even Samuel was acting weird.

Eventually they arrived at a small flat high-tech building at the Eastern part in the academy.

"Students, welcome to the VR training room. AKA the Technology Development Unite!" Ava said as she led them up to the building. Everyone was astonished at the building in front of them. No one had ever seen such high-tech buildings in their provinces.

'Whoa, is this place real?!!!! I can't believe that this world even have VR and buildings like this one!' (Leon)

"Wow, this is amazing!"

As Ava knocked on the pair of sliding glass doors, a voice was heard.

"Who is it?"

"It's Ava Summers. Can I please have permission to enter?"

"Yes. You may enter... Just wait for a moment."

When the voice said that, the doors were opened remotely and Ava walked in the building, followed by Leon. Because everyone else were scared because the doors opened by itself.

"Don't be scared guys, it's just a feature of the building!" Ava said with a smile.

As the students entered into the building, they felt a cool breeze hit them.

"It has all of a sudden gone cold!"

"Yeah, it's freezing! What's going on?"

The students were freaking up.

"Welcome. How may I be of service to you, Lady Ava Summers?" A scientist looking guy cane out to greet us.

He was wearing a facemask along with his lab coat. He smiled warmly at Ava.

Inside of the room looked like a laboratory from back in Leon's. The floors were cleaned and tidy.

Ava smiled...

"Can you please let me borrow your virtual reality system for a few minutes or hours?" Ava asked the scientist guy.
