As Leon walked to the first year students building along with his roommate Liam. His head looking down to the ground, not bringing up any conversation along the way.

Actually they've stopped at the school's cafeteria to grab a bite to eat, before continuing their journey to their classes.

As they walked to the first year students building, and as the early morning sun beats down on their skin. It was unusually hot for the morning, even though there are protective barriers surrounding the academy.

"Phew! It's really hot this morning, huh?!" Liam exclaimed to him as they walked to their building.

When Leon heard what his roommate Liam had said, he raised his head. His eyes widened.

"Hmm."

"What's the matter, Leon? You haven't been talking since we left our dorm...." Liam asked with confusion.

"Uhh.... Nothing, I was just deep in thoughts."

"Alright, if you say so.... Let's get going then!"

'Is it me or is today hot? Yesterday wasn't like this.' (Leon)

Leon thought while he and Liam beaded to their separate classes.

So they continued walking to the first year building, and as the uperclassmen were also going to their classes. Leon accompanied his roommate to his class — the 1-A classroom....

After they separated from each other, Leon walked down the corridor to the Class 1-F classroom.

"......"

'It has only been a few weeks since I started coming to the Military Academy but, we never completed any notes or drills for the term.... What is going on?' (Leon)

There were not too many people hanging out on the corridor, unlike later on the day or unlike the first couple of weeks since they enrolled into the academy.

Leon continued to be deep in his thoughts as he made his way down the corridor to his classroom. When he approached the door of his classroom, he stretched out his hands and pushed the door open.

Before entering the classroom he took a deep breath to clear his mind, and walked into the classroom, feeling nervous.

"Good morning everyone!" Leon greeted the class and walked towards his seat and sat down.

Samuel wasn't in his seat, he wasn't in the classroom. In fact, Samuel hadn't come to school as yet.

Almost all of the ten students in the Class 1-F classroom were not present. The only person that was in the classroom was Alice, Alexis and another female student.

"Uhh, good morning...."

Alice was the only person who returned Leon's greetings. Alexis and the other girl just sat there and talking with each other.

'Typical nobles.....' (Leon)

2 Hours later....

Two hours later, and everyone else was seated in the classroom, with miss Ava standing in front of the class talking.

"Good morning, students. I can see that one of you guys didn't come as yet!" Ava had a smirk on her face as she spoke.

She was energetic as ever. No can explain where she got all those energy from. It was a total mystery!

Everyone in the classroom started looking around to find out who was missing, none of them didn't know who it was that wasn't there.

"Didn't everyone come this morning? I'm so confused!"

"I think the teacher is right... All ten of us isn't here. That red hair guy."

Samuel didn't made it to school as yet. The class went quiet and they were waiting for Ava to at least give them something to do, at least just for the day.

"So, what are we going to do today, teacher?" A student asked Ava.

"Yeah, please give us something to do! We haven't taken down any notes for the term." Another student joined in.

Ava was astonished at what was going on in her classroom. She couldn't believe how her students wanted to improve.

'Huh? What's going on here? For the past couple of weeks I've always thought that these children didn't want to do anything....' (Ava)

(Ava Sighs Heavily)

"Well, I wasn't necessarily planing on anything to do today.... " Ava said with a forced smile on her face.

Everyone had begun staring at her with excitement in their eyes. It came as a shock to everyone in the Class 1-F classroom.

"So what are we going to do today? Training, notes or drills?"

Someone spoke up and asked Ava , with his voice filled with excitement.

'Why is she freezing up like that? Didn't she make some kind of plan...?' (Leon)

Leon just sat in the classroom keeping quiet. He was just sitting there in all of the commotion.

"Okay! Today I will take you guys to do some special training in a Simulated Environment! But first I have to get permission...." Ava said.

"Whoa! Are you serious?!!"

"VR? But I thought that kind of technology is a secret!"

"Wow, so Virtual Reality is a real thing in this world too.... Well, this is unlike any Isekai." Leon mumbled to himself, while the entire class was plundered into chaos.

"Yes, virtual reality training. Is that a problem? Please prepare yourselves for an intense training. We will be leaving soon!" Ava exclaimed excitedly.

In a strange room that wasn't well lit, a bunch of men wearing traditional medieval robes were sitting around a giant table. Their faces were covered up by their robes.

They are men, or rather high-ranking nobles from all over the Holy Light Empire. Who have a different views from the other nobles.

"So, why did you call this meeting? Did anything of importance happen in the Empire?"

"Why did you summon us? You know that we all have things to do,, unlike you."

(Man Sighs)

"For once I will ignore your foolishness. You see, while you guys are enjoying your lives, everyday things change for the worse. Those magic-less other worlders are introducing strange technologies to the people.... What are we going to do?"

"Hmm, you're right...."

"Yes, indeed. We have to do something about it before our traditional magic loose its place in the world."

"Don't worry about anything. When it's time, we'll strike and put magic in its rightful place, hahaha!"

And so the strange scary looking men in robes continued their meeting.
