Leon slowly stood up and made his way back into the mansion, his mind drifting to the afternoon's event. He had indulged in more tea and Biscuits than he should have, and now the weight of it all made every step feel sluggish.
(Breathing heavily.)
'I knew that I shouldn't have eaten so many snacks... but it was the most fun I had ever since I was reincarnated into this world! I know that I will regret this afterward.'
Sophie and Daniella were already in the room, and sitting on Sophie's bed and chatting about various things.
"I kind of like the new Leon," Sophie said softly. "He has truly changed, and I like it!" She added with a smile.
"Yeah, from what you've told me, he sounded like a total jerk!" Daniella teased, laughing. "It's pretty amazing how he's different now. Anyways, enough about that– Let's do something fun!"
"Yeah, sure," Sophie answered with a smile.
Daniella and Sophie chuckled, then started playing with Sophie's collection of dolls.
They had been best of friends for as long as they could remember. Their fathers, close friends themselves, had introduced them when they were little, hoping that they would grow just as close– and they had.
Leon walked slowly down the long hallway toward his room, the sound of Sophie and Daniella's playful voices echoed behind him. He pushed the door open and stepped inside.
'I'm beat! I thought I wasn't going to make it to my room...' Leon thought that before he drifted off.
"........."
As night fell, the sky darkened, and the moon shone brightly overhead. It was dinner time, and the maids had been sent to fetch the children.
"Wake up, Leon! Wake up!" Daniella shouted, shaking him by the shoulders.
"Huh? I'm up, I'm up! What's going on?" Leon mumbled, rubbing his eyes groggily.
"Isn't it supposed to do dinner time?" Daniella asked.
Just then, the maids knocked on the door and entered the room, leading Leon, Sophie, and Daniella to the dining hall. At night, the dining room was even more breathtaking, with its grand chandeliers casting an elegant glow, transforming it almost into a ballroom. They took their seats at the long table and began their meals.
Leon tried to eat, but the snacks from earlier sat heavy in his stomach, making it hard to enjoy the food. He noticed Daniella and Sophie glancing at their plates, clearly feeling the same.

"Good night, Leon, Sophie, and Daniella... How's the sleepover going so far?" Sarah asked, taking a bite of her food. "Anything fun happen yet?"
'Why is Mother calling my name? I'm not friends with Daniella or Sophie!'
"Um, it is going great! I wanna hang out with Daniella more!" Sophie replied to her mother's question with a smile.
Daniella nodded in agreement with Sophie's statement.
Sylvester glanced at his wife, Sarah, who returned his look with a smile.
"Alright, Sophie dear, we'll arrange another play date with Daniella's parents." Sylvester assured her, causing Sophie's face to brighten.
"I'll let Daniella's parents know," Sarah added, nodding in agreement with her husband.
"Yay!! I'm so happy! Thank you guys so much!" Sophie's face lit up with excitement on hearing what her parents had said.
Leon and Daniella exchanged glances before returning to their dinner, each lost in their own thoughts. After the meal, Sarah gently ushered the children to their room, her voice soothing as she recounted a bedtime story they all knew by heart. She planted soft kisses on their foreheads, whispered "good night," and quietly closed the door behind her.
The moment the door clicked shut, Daniella and Sophie sprang from their beds, their giggles and the scuffle of feet filling the room. They darted around, their whispers escalating into playful shouts, as they reveled in their newfound freedom.
'Oh no, they're hyperactive!' Leon heaved a sigh covered his ears with his pillow, and somehow dozed off. Leaving the girls up.
Sophie and Daniella played throughout the night until their strength ran out and they fell asleep...
The next morning, Leon rose early, took a quick bath, and made his way downstairs for breakfast. After finishing his meal, he headed to the garden to practice with his wooden sword.
As Leon swung the sword under the morning sun, he noticed an Elf lady and a man with dark brown skin entering the garden. He paused, studying them with a curious gaze.
From the way they looked, they seemed like a pair of strong Adventurers. The man was wearing some high-quality gear, and the elf woman also had on some high-quality gear but she had a staff.
" Good morning, Mr and Mrs... How may I help you? " Leon asked, showing a cautious look on his face.
"You don't have to be afraid, sir Leon. We are Daniella's parents, we came to pick her up. " The Elf lady said calming the situation.
"I am Lilia, Daniella's mom, nice to meet you!"
"And I am Antony Grant, Daniella's father."
Daniella's parents were wearing armor, and it seemed like they were adventurers.
The two introduced themselves to Leon and bowed in respect.
"Nice to meet you two, my name is Leon Alexander von Blaze." Leon introduced himself and bowed.
'What's wrong with this couple, how come only one of them uses their surname? Oh yeah, from what I can remember from the original owner of this body, Father once told me that only nobles have last names, not ordinary people, and those ordinary people who do have surnames aren't originally from this world... I don't get it...'
"Oh, I forgot... Please follow me!" Leon gestured for the couple to follow him to the living room.
Daniella Sophie and the entire family had already woken up, and they were sitting in the living room.
Upon seeing her parents Daniella ran up to them and hugged them, and they hugged her back.
"Oh Daniella, I miss you!"
They waved "goodbye" to everyone and left the house, and Leon went back to his training. And afterward, he went to do some research on the world he had found himself in.
'Finally, everything will get back to the way it was. I can't wait to grow up quick, I will attend the Military Academy and be powerful, hahaha!'
