Will Strikes! Splitting The Dominion!

Will Strikes! Splitting The Dominion!

The air was still, the only sounds being the gentle lapping of the water against the shore. Natasha's eyes gleamed with an intense determination as she prepared to throw her Niflheim Collapse. After a brief moment of contemplation, she decided that she was not happy with the current size of the spell and decided to strengthen it further.

The poisonous river water flowed peacefully, its ominous waters absorbing the fading light. But as Natasha infused mana into her hand, a surge of negative energy enveloped the area, causing a sudden drop in temperature. Frost energy crackled in the air, swirling around her as she chanted ancient incantations. Slowly, the chill spread, transforming the tranquil scene into a frigid wasteland of icy destruction.

Natasha was not one for posturing. She did not waste time and prepared to drop the Niflheim Collapse on Lisa and Giselle's position, much to her opponent's distress.

"You nutcase! The entire battlefield will be affected! You could harm your own teammates!" barked Lisa. Giselle remained quiet because Natasha would only take such an action if her attack would definitely not harm her companions.

"Don't worry. I don't associate with weaklings." Natasha replied with a smirk.

As soon as the spell reached its peak, the air itself seemed to tremble with anticipation. Natasha released her grip on the spell, and it shot toward its target with a deafening roar. The spell exploded upon contact, unleashing its icy fury over a one-hundred-meter radius. The riverbank was immediately consumed by a blizzard of frost and darkness.

Giselle and Lisa felt the disturbance in the ambient mana as they desperately reacted. With urgency, they scrambled to cast a protective spell, invoking the powers of the ancient gods. Giselle formed a shield of ice around herself, whispering prayers to the frost giant Ymir, while Lisa called upon the strength of Baldur to veil herself in a protective cloak of steel.

The effects of the Niflheim Collapse were immediate and devastating. The chilling frost energy tore at the surroundings, freezing everything in its path. The river, once a calm sight, became a frozen wasteland, its once running waters now transformed into motionless ice. The riverbank itself cracked and groaned under the weight of the sudden freeze, frozen crystals encasing everything in their frigid grip.

The grave diggers that were still reeling from her Ragnarok Rain were stunned by the wave of frost that assaulted them. This attack was too sudden and killed off all of the remaining men. By the time the area around them had settled, only a handful of frozen corpses were intact while the others were all bits and pieces of ice scattered all over the frozen earth.

Will and Gianluigi reacted quickly as well.

Gianluigi roared and used a tornado skill to keep the blizzard from touching him while Will used the water blade around him to slice anything that approached his immediate vicinity. The water blade remained attached to his sword and acted more like a water whip, forming a whirlpool of protection around him, shielding him from the storm of negative energy.

'Gianluigi makes this look easy, this Natasha is no joke.'

Will could sense through his waterblade just how domineering Natasha's mana was. As far as he was concerned, this was almost at the same level as Mercedes.

'If this is what her spells are like after using Elemental Conversion, how strong would a spell fully powered by her own mana be?' Will shuddered at the thought.

Alison used a spell that made her body intangible to escape the effects of the Niflheim Burst while Sophia repelled the spells with an omnidirectional shield made of water. The shield was inscribed with Norse runes that simmered with light. Unfortunately, the shield did not last long and shattered. Thankfully for her, it had taken the brunt of Natasha's mana, leaving Sophia with only minor injuries and a slightly sluggish demeanour.

Lydia, Palmer and Lyra were quite far from the battle so they were able to avoid being damaged to a great degree. Nevertheless, they were still somewhat affected by the chill and Natasha's pervasive mana.

As Natasha stood, her gaze fixated on the aftermath of her spell. A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips, satisfied with the chaos she had unleashed. She could see Giselle and Lisa, their protective spells holding strong against the assault of icy destruction. But she was not done yet. She raised her hand once again, gathering the remaining frost energy around her.

This time, Natasha directed the energy towards the two mages, a malevolent gleam in her eyes. Giselle and Lisa, sensing the imminent danger, held their breath as the concentrated frost energy approached. With a wave of her hand, Natasha unleashed it upon them, a blizzard more intense than anything they had ever faced from a level 99 user.

'How is she just a level 99 user? Even some users above level 100 would struggle to perform such a strong spell.'

Giselle's ice shield cracked and shattered under the onslaught, causing her to stumble backwards in pain. Lisa's steel-plated cloak faltered against the icy assault, leaving her vulnerable to the freezing winds. The two mages fought to hold their ground, desperately summoning every ounce of their own power to counter the darkness-infused frost energy.

As the spell began to dissipate, Natasha revelled in her victory. The riverbank lay in ruin, a chilling testament to the power of her spell. Giselle and Lisa, battered but not defeated, slowly regained their footing, their protective spells holding on by sheer willpower.

Natasha's black hair fluttered in the arctic wind as she crossed her arms across her bountiful chest, her task accomplished.

'I've managed to separate these two. Now it's your turn Solitary.'

Giselle quickly turned her attention to Lisa, in an attempt to understand the situation. Because Lisa was her mana supply, she struggled to maintain Hela's Dominion, resulting in the spell weakening greatly.

'At this rate, I can only hold it for a few minutes at best.' Giselle's mind went into overdrive as she tried to come up with a solution. But before she could, a wave of bursting qi flooded her senses. This was a sensation everyone present was quite familiar with.

'Someone just opened a door!'

Before she could go any further, this sensation repeated itself, except the wave of qi was even more intense than before!

'Opening two doors in a row, is this Gianluigi?'

Only prodigies could open two doors simultaneously amid battle, so Giselle turned her attention to Gianluigi. But when she looked at the blonde prince of Lycus, she saw him standing smugly with a smirk on his face.

Alison took this opportunity to materialize and shouted, "Behind you!"

The atmosphere was heavy with anticipation as Will prepared to unleash his devastating attack.

'Don't you know that I'm a swordsman with a reputation for precision and speed? Tsk tsk Miss Maiden, you need to do research on your enemies.'

The domain of darkness that was Hela's Dominion loomed ominously before him, its suffocating presence threatening to swallow everything in its path. The Dao of sharpness coursed through his veins, heightening his senses and focusing his resolve. Will's body was bursting with qi emboldened by opening two doors, so at the moment, Hela's Dominion did not frighten him.

Thanks to having opened two doors, Will's body was bursting with power that his enemies were not familiar with. He harnessed the intensity of the qi within him to appear by surprise near Giselle. She gasped in shock, her eyes widening as she realized she was vulnerable to his impending assault.

Both of Will's hands were gripping his sword as he started to infuse Truth into the water-covered blade. Giselle knew that a True Strike was approaching, but there was little she could do about blocking it. Before she could react, Will materialized the skill that Giselle had been weary of the entire time, his most useful technique—the Water Blade.

Infused with the essence of the Dao of sharpness and the power of Truth, the Water Blade shimmered with ethereal energy as it sliced through the darkness with unparalleled precision. The blade surged forward, tearing through the very fabric of Hela's Dominion, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. In an instant, the darkness began to disintegrate, its malevolent aura dispersing like smoke in the wind.

The blade light extended into the poisonous miasma that had covered the entire riverbank, splitting the skies above the fighters in a spectacular sight!
