The Solitary Sword Sovereign
Klopp The Information Broker

Klopp The Information Broker

Arthur turned around and whistled in shock. 'To think there was someone with a class rarer than mine.'

Andreas continued, "His username is Solitary Sword Sovereign, he is the Lord of what used to be known as Miami. You know of him already, as he is already a member of the Empire. He is the one who got the Eridian Princess as a guide. As you know, she had Genesis' protection, and her test was a strange one, and no one passed, even among the Supremes who secretly took her test."

Arthur put his hand on his chin in remembrance, "Ah yes, that boy. The one who managed to pass a test that even the Supremes failed. Interesting. He not only got her as his guide but even has one of the rarest classes in existence. If I'm not mistaken, he is the one who Alexa believed to have used a formation. Truly amusing, how is his progress?"

Andreas hesitated for a moment before saying, "That's the thing your Majesty, one of my trusted sources just revealed that Ezra The Mad One is on his way to visit Solitary. Not only that, my source even heard the word 'vendetta' being used by Ezra.

At that moment, Arthur's calm demeanor was broken. To him, there were only two men in his mind who were worthy of fearing. One of them was Genesis, who was generally peaceful and wouldn't act casually, so Arthur's fear of him dwindled over time. The other man he feared, however, was not the same. Ezra, a name that had been causing Arthur problems for as long as he could remember.

Arthur gritted his teeth, "Why is that nut case after Solitary?"

"I don't know sire. One thing is for sure, Ezra only moves to kill. We all know this."

Arthur squeezed his fists in frustration. This Solitary boy was a good seed, one who had a good chance at being a Supreme. He also had control over an area he planned to use as an entry point into North America and was the owner of the Eridian Princess, a vital source of information about their future foe. Not to mention they now know he has a rare class and could possibly know formations. All these made Solitary an important asset. Which is why Arthur was happy that Alexa went, as she was one of his most trusted ghosts.

'But now that nutcase is going there, why? Does he know something we don't?'

Arthur looked toward Andreas and asked, "What do you think we should do?"

"Your Majesty, Ezra is dangerous, but Alexa has a very unique set of skills and a very high battle potential. I am positive that if we give her the order, she could save Solitary and bring him here safely. Although in doing so we would lose most of the potential Supreme Candidates that went with her."

"But doing so gains the ire of Ezra."

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Indeed, but he is only one man, I am positive that if we save Solitary, then Genesis will prevent him from attacking us because if he does, we are more than capable of retaliating. Even if it's against an Elder of the Samsara Sect."

Arthur laughed and looked up at the sun, shining bright in the sky. "Excellent! Indeed, we need not fear them! Andreas, here are my orders. She must observe what happens between Solitary and Ezra. If Solitary shows any more signs of importance to us, be it in terms of talent or his potential identity as Peerless, we must save him. The Princess and his class are far too important to us!"

"Your wish is my command!"

AS soon as Andreas said these words, he and the others nearby knelt. The previous light-hearted vibe was gone. Now there were as they should be, servants of the Emperor!

In an ordinary living room, two men were seated on opposite sides, looking at each other.

"So let me get this straight, you are The Solitary Sword Sovereign."

"Yup."

"Lord of Miami"

"Indeed."

"Level 74."

"Only for the moment."

"And you want me to do you a favor."

"Exactamundo."

"And that favor is to link you up with an Information Broker."

"That's basically it."

Duke could not believe what he was hearing. The guy in front of him was just level 74? The notion of this was absurd! He had soloed a 3-star dungeon with incredible ease as if he was taking a walk in his back garden, and he was level 74?

Duke quickly shook his head and said, "Assuming I believe everything you just told me, how the heck did you find me? Was it some sort of skill or spell?"

Will simply smiled and said, "You tell me, you're the information dude."

Will simply let Duke's imagination run amok, but the answer was simple. Intent. Intent was like a smell, a form of identification. Intent told you many details, such as whether or not this person has met you before.

Will's intent had imprinted on Duke's body, so finding him was easy. So long as the person was of a lower level and they didn't have any anti intent methods, Will could easily track any person who had had any contact with him.

Letty was not from earth, and her intent spoke volumes of that. Not to mention that her body gave off a subtle regal aura, making it rather easy for Will to guess her identity. Compared to that, finding Duke was a piece of cake.

Duke was a bit skeptical, but at the same time, he was very excited. He really wanted to get into the good books of a powerhouse like Will. He still didn't believe Will's level, but it didn't matter. Because even if Will was telling the truth, then he was a monster among beasts. From Duke's point of view, helping Will would only give him boons.

The problem was the person Will wanted to see. Klopp, the Information Broker Will was looking for, wasn't the easiest person to get to.

Duke didn't want to waste Will's time and said, "Klopp is a person obsessed with researching things about the system. There are even rumors that he came from another world! He has hundreds of labs across the world, each in a different country! The only way to figure out where he is is to attend the cultivator's ball held at the Capital of The Dragonheart Empire a month from now. His assistant always attends this ball on his behalf. To get invited to that ball, you have to be someone of incredibly high rank within the Empire or be a supreme powerhouse above level 125!."

Will processed the information in his mind then came up with a plan of action.

'First I get a high rank then go there or I just power up and burst in.'

Due to his current situation, getting promoted to Supreme Candidate should be the fastest way to achieve his goals. Will planned to get promoted, then attend the ball. But to do that he had to take a few more territories, level up, then gain recognition of 2 ghosts. Sicario was already a fan, hence all he really needed to do was please Alexa!

'But before that…'

"Thanks, bro. Here are some rewards." Will threw some skill books he didn't want to keep but were decent. Duke's eyes bulged out when he saw what landed on his table.

Will picked up a small cushion and threw it to Duke. "I used a skill of mine to mark that cushion. If you have any more information on rights and Klopp, let me know by injecting your qi or mana. Peace bro, I have a deathmatch to prepare for."

With a flash, Will left a gobsmacked Duke. To much stuff was going through his head, but he definitely knew something as he looked at the books.

"I'm going to get stronger really fast!"
