The Solitary Sword Sovereign
Not A Single Crease

Not A Single Crease

Will was excited regarding what was about to happen, and the reason was simple. There was an aspect of his power that he hadn't used yet, and now was the perfect time to use it.

Merlin was rearing to go because she wanted to show her superiority. The young lady raised her wand in preparation for the spell. Will stood still and allowed Merlin to go on with her casting. The others viewed Will as being arrogant for doing such a thing, except for Letty who was most knowledgeable in terms of what Will could do. Merlin raised her wand higher and higher until it started to float out of her hand while she was chanting. Although this took time to describe this all happened within a few moments.

Salty marveled at Merlin's casting and couldn't help but admire her as a fellow mage. Merlin's chanting auxiliary skills were top-notch and visibly practiced. Anyone with an eye could tell that she had practiced her movements over a hundred thousand times. Finding a talented mage is hard, but finding a talented mage who works hard is even harder.

As the staff rose water started to gather around it forming a large sphere of water. Within microseconds, arrows burst out of the sphere all aiming at Will. Will intentionally wanted to dodge the arrow barrage but then he realized his real purpose in engaging in this battle. From the perspective of the others, the arrows all hit their target forming a large dust cloud. This was one of Merlin's trademark spells, Aqua Arrow Rain.

Everyone who was watching except for Letty and Duke believed that Will must have sustained some form of injuries as almost a thousand arrows barraged where Will was standing. Duke even found it laughable, especially when he remembered what Will did to the previous Boss he saw…

The dust cloud formed expanded like a small mushroom cloud. But within moments a single clap from Nzou cleared up the air for everyone to see what was happening. The majority of the people who were watching were befuddled.

The perspective of everyone who was watching was quite different but in general, there were three camps. Letty and Duke, who deified Will and believed that this would be a walk in the park. Alexa, Taiga, and Ibrahim, who knew that fighting Will would not be easy, and the others who believed that at least half of them could defeat the boy.

Duke's understanding of levels and the corresponding power that comes with it was top-notch. He didn't choose to be an information broker randomly. So when he remembered how easily Will had disposed of the bear in the dungeon he could not help but shiver. That was not someone at level 74 should be able to pull off!

The moment the dust cloud displaced, the majority of the people watching got a shock, Will stood there practically unharmed, almost as if he hadn't even been attacked in the first place. Not even a single speck of dust could be seen on him, which surprised the more observant of those watching, especially Alexa. It was a shock to see that Will was unharmed, but it was even more of a shock to see that he was virtually untouched by the dust that should have surrounded him.

Will smiled because he had just proved his conjecture. The ability he had gained from the Hydromancer allowed him to become temporarily intangible by converting parts of his body into water. The moment a body part became water, weak physical attacks did no harm to it and would regain its shape instantly at the user's will. Since he had just gained the ability, Will was still learning how to use it, thanks to his mental abilities Will was able to get the hang of it quickly. After roughly understanding this ability Will couldn't help but wonder.

'The old man who tried to kill me really sucked at using these abilities. This thing is really OP. He relied too much on the dimensional skill.'

Will had received all of the old man's water-related skills but only his ability to turn his body into water caught his eye, the others were all things he could reproduce with his own class abilities, so they didn't matter much to him. Nevertheless, the old man had met his own nemesis in Will and his Sword Kaiser. Sword Kaiser's ability to target a person's essence made it the bane of intangibility and invulnerability skills. By directly targeting the essence, Will could essentially bypass any defenses.

Will was confident that Sword Kaiser was a very unique skill so few people would be able to attack him that way at the very list. This didn't mean that Will was completely invulnerable. For example, if the arrows that had attacked him had been fire arrows instead of water arrows he could not have done the same thing as fire is water's nemesis as well. Water can put out a fire, but if the fire is hot enough, it can easily evaporate the water. But since the arrows were water all Will had to do was absorb them.

Will looked up with a smug grin and said "You have to try better than that instead of wasting everyone's time, why don't you hit me with your biggest shot. I am a very busy man and I do not have time to waste playing with flat-chested women. Seriously, you are so flat I can iron an entire curtain on your chest and not have a single crease."

Merlin was so incensed that she started shaking from rage. Her small stature and childish body had always been her weak points. Before anyone could react Merlin had already raised her arm and started another chant. The ball of water floating above her instantly changed shape into a giant western dragon. When the dragon formed all of the water world energy nearby was sucked into the dragon's body forming a vortex of power.

Will was especially sensitive to this as it was the water world energy that was being absorbed. The young man couldn't help but marvel at the sight. He felt that he had to whistle in awe. He put his hand on the hilt of his sword in preparation to do something which didn't escape Merlin's gaze. She assumed Will was getting ready to retaliate, so she accelerated her chanting in preparation for what might come.
