Every human on Earth had experienced a growth that stunned system analysts all over Earth. The only logical explanation was that one of the Natural Sovereigns had evolved. This phenomenon had occurred only 4 times. During the times Musashi and Dragonheart evolved at level 100 and level 125. Although they were strong, they were far from the next evolution at level 200, which led many to conclude a simple fact. Peerless had reached level 100!
The second piece of news was just as shocking, as the Dragonheart Empire showed signs of attacking America. This time Musashi and Genesis did not interfere and allowed him to do as he wished. Most did not want to see this as the Dragonheart Empire was the most ambitious of all the world’s superpowers.
People did not understand why Arthur had chosen to make his move at this point. The only logical explanation was that he feared Peerless and thus was planning on invading his home.
‘Since you are hiding, I will smoke you out!’
This was what most analysts believed Arthur was thinking. Usually, the Empire only engaged in war once they had a certain foothold to confidently march into; after all, North America was fractured but not weak. They still had users like Aurora, who had used Peerless' name to recruit and ally with many Nation Lords, creating an Alliance capable of worrying Arthur to a certain extent. If the Dragonheart Empire attacked now without more preparation, there was no doubt countless lives would be lost!
Modus’ announcement a few months ago caused a great stir across the world and was still the most trending topic because it brought many things to light!

These are mortal and immortal. You need not worry about the rankings for immortal worlds, but the Mortal worlds are divided into Entry, Minor, Middle and Upper. Worlds are divided according to the overall strength that planet has, with the strength of its users playing the most crucial role. Earth has just qualified to become a Minor World. Thus it is now susceptible to invasion from other worlds.
A Middle World has requested to invade Earth and take over. I allowed this, and thus in one year, the war between Earth and Eridium shall begin. You have one year to get strong enough to battle an empire that has already subdued ten Minor Worlds stronger than your own.
The more united a world is, the better its chances of survival. I strongly urge you all to unite and face this threat with all you have; otherwise, your planet and its people will fall at the mercy of a world that has no qualms with turning all of you 'inferior' beings into slaves. Also, I would like to announce a new piece of news. Whoever remains number one on the list of Sovereigns shall determine the strength of the world.
In other words, if an incredibly powerful user is number one, then the talents and abilities and levels of all of Earth's users shall be raised to match that Sovereign. The planet will also be gifted with things like new technology, armies etc. Depending on the strength of the number one Sovereign. If your number one Sovereign is weak, then no rewards shall be given, and your planet is virtually doomed. To enter the Sovereign list is simple.

Modus had introduced himself as one of the beings behind Earth’s current dilemma and had also revealed crucial information. The looming threat of Eridium had resulted in commoners crying for unity to face the oncoming threat. Leaders such as Dragonheart believed in martial unity. Dragonheart liked the current distribution of power across the world and was willing to work with other leaders of a similar station because he was familiar with them. But Peerless was an unknown factor that threw a wrench in the works.
He had the potential to not only rule Earth but also rule like a dictator with an iron fist. Thus many users outside America that supported powerhouses such as Arthur were unhappy with Peerless coming in from nowhere after disappearing for five years. Will’s monologue after Modus’ introduction did not make things easier.

And the previous voice was lying; it’s not I couldn't be bothered to level up, but I was, uh, occupied with other things. But now, I am focused and ready to level up.

Will’s informal tone and random use of words that didn’t fit his tone, such as ‘smite’ and ‘vassal’, threw people off. Not only that, he seemed to be quite relaxed and didn’t have a care in the world. He seemed to treat Earth as if it was his own personal property and was clearly illustrating his lack of interest in other people’s opinions by expressing his lustful manner. In the eyes of the political correct and ‘righteous’, he was a villain!
Words such as ignorant or sexist were thrown around in droves online as his introduction had frightened many. How many educated humans could trust a person with such an odd mentality to be their ruler?
