Appearing near the stable, at the General’s estate, Sahara watched as Naruto runs off, and the other two foxes followed quickly behind him. It was quite cute to her that Naruto was now a big brother, having to look after them, yet what he was best at was showing them who was boss! The two little ones were still with one tail, yet, Naruto had four, and would probably be a lot bigger naturally, if she herself hadn’t made him smaller…But the little ones seemed to know that Naruto was stronger than them, so they were obedient…And the little bugger always made sure of it! He’d be the one to knock one off her lap now and take the lap for his own. He’d be the one clawing at another on her shoulder and claim the shoulder as his own…
Yep, so cute! He loves me! Haha!
Sahara stretched and got out some food for Steven and herself, then sitting down on the ground.
Having gotten into a strange routine, Steven rarely had to say much at all, as they would think on the same wavelengths.
When she was hungry, she would always have enough food for all of them and just took it out. When she was thirsty, she’d bring out enough for all of them. There had only been one occasion of them killing and eating a beast, but other times Sahara had just been too lazy to have to worry about killing, skinning, cooking and cleaning so she’d just bring out an already cooked and ready to go meal…It was, in another form of way, take out! She…Took it out of herself…
And Steven had literally already become furniture now, as he was a part of the gang, just like the other two new foxes…
Steven and Sahara ate in silence, and she started to get really excited!
It’s nearly time for the big dollars, she thought! She was sure that she was ganna be rich!
She wanted to dance…
Sahara had made pills for the General, her father and Samuel. She had also got heaps stashed away, as she only want to sell one at first, just to see how that goes. Deciding that she was going to give one for free to the auction house, to show that they would work, she would tell them that she would probably sell one…
That’s what I gotta find out! How often the Auction house is opened! If they are opened once a week, I’ll tell them a pill a week!
If she sold too many at once, the price would go down! If it was a rare item, surely, in the long run, she would get more dollars!
Haha!
Not only that, Sahara wasn’t in a dire need of money. She had a few debts, but after they were paid off…What was she going to spend her money on?
Food can’t possibly be a huge amount of Sum…Could it?
It really was a question…
In both life’s Sahara hadn’t wanted much, considering that she was never given much in the first place. She just got used to it.
If I was to become a…sumaire…sumillionaire…Haha…That’s so funny! Sumillionaire!
…And just like that, Sahara lost her train of thought…
After the short distraction…Sahara was able to pick up on her thoughts once again.
The main objective was to just get a flow of cash coming in!
The next problem was, how much would they sell for? If they didn’t sell for much, which Sahara was completely against thinking would happen, she’d have to sell more…
Sigh
Having gotten a few more nucleases, since they were out in the vast, land area, Sahara was sure that she could make pills for ages!
…Except…I needed more empty pills, Haha, I had run out! Shudda grabbed two packets!
But, suddenly, even through her excitement and thoughts, Sahara stopped.
Looking out, towards the edge of the estate…And there he was.
How long has he been standing there?
Time stopped, as everything else disappeared…
For quite a while, Sahara stared, and thought about what she had heard from the voices…
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
The past conversations, the past looks he showed, the thoughts that she’s had…A dim awareness inside of her knew, that they had already shared a lifetime together, one that she knew was very fulfilling. And, as much as she couldn’t believe that it could be true, Sahara couldn’t deny these dim thoughts or feelings…Even if she didn’t have them, she was already attracted to him and felt like she was holding back her interest as it was…
The sigh factor is really quite huge when it comes to that man!
Matthew had Band Three stationed at the General’s estate, knowing he probably shouldn’t, but he did.
Once Band Three showed his presence to him at his own estate, a short time ago, Matthew already knew…
Coming here, he saw his Princess finish her meal and had been happily watching her.
He told himself that he shouldn’t go up to her, that if there’s a chance, he still had to wait.
Having put his hands behind him, he just stood there, feeling peace washing over him once again.
Even though the ‘Crowned Prince’ had formally been demoted and banished, and there was a lot less worry. Matthew still hadn’t felt like he did now, since he had seen her last.
All this time, it wasn’t anything to do with his problems…His peace, was her...
When she had finally noticed him, Matthew felt elated. He stared at her from the distance, as she did him.
They were so far away, yet, the distance seemed like nothing. His gentle gaze found her holding gaze and both of them could tell that this was something special…Familiar feelings rose from the depths within both of them, yet both of them knew how little they knew of the other.
It really was the strangest feeling in the world, to depend, love and wish for another, when it can’t be explained…
Seeing her stand up, Matthew was worried that she would turn and walk, or teleport away…But she took a few steps towards him instead.
Smiling gently at her, Matthew watched as she slowly came closer and closer…Step by step…Making his heartbeat faster and faster, as she continued to walk towards him.
Sahara…As she got closer and closer to this gorgeous, hunk of a guy, she got more and more nervous.
Having had time away from him, she was sure that what had happened, when she had been kidnapped, had been more of a bigger deal then she had originally thought.
The other thing that Sahara couldn’t help, was that there were already so many things that led her to think about him!
Many times, she would be trying not to think of him, but he would always seem to worm himself into her thoughts! It happened at the Academy at least twice, then happened at the General’s before leaving for the vast land area. Then…Out there, thoughts of him had not declined, but increased!
Before speaking to the voice in her head, he had already come into her thoughts uninvited a few times, but after they had talked to her…Sahara had felt a strange release, that thinking about him wasn’t something that she could control…
Having this in mind, she had to ask herself about the kidnapping and if she could follow these feelings and thoughts. Sahara was sure that he had been involved in the kidnapping, and she was also sure that he wouldn’t have wanted her to become involved…
‘I’m in love with you Sahara…’ It really wasn’t fair!
Something did happen though, even if Sahara wanted to deny the voices that she heard inside of her head, they had told her that she would not bring Matthew bad luck…That really…It was like a door that had been locked, was now unlocked, all that was left…Was to walk through it.
Sahara was happy and not, she was confused and frustrated. The questions of why had she been bad luck to others then? And why was she not now? It still made no sense to her, even though they had been tried to be explained!
Through all this and upon seeing him again, just standing there and waiting patiently for her, Sahara seemed to have gotten up, unable to do anything else…
It wasn’t fair!
The reason why it wasn’t fair…Was because she was starting to understand that what was between herself, and Matthew was bigger than a kidnapping. It wasn’t fair, because she really hadn’t much of a say…The obstacles in front of them were probably going to be pretty overwhelming, yet, what they had…Was bigger than that…
Sahara stopped walking when she was four steps away from Matthew. She even felt a strange premonition that she had perhaps done this once before…
She took a deep breath and tried to look up, but she couldn’t.
Honestly! You’re an idiot Sahara, you can handle a kidnapping and poison better than this guy!
Her own voice scolding herself, made her frown.
“What’s wrong?” Matthew asked, unable to handle the silence. He was already so excited that she had walked up to him, which he hadn’t thought that she would do! It was just a dream, that his Princess would come all the way up to him herself and start to talk to him…But she just walked all the way here!
She walked all the way here!
He really was so happy…Then, she had frowned…
“I’m…Sometimes…”
A real stupid idiot!
Matthew let out a chuckle and took one step forward. “Are you well?”
Sahara finally looked up at him.
Ah, nothing changes, he’s so handsome! He’s the ML!
His gentle face really brought it out of her!
Ah! That look of someone that adores you, I never want it to leave! His face, even his clothes, was just…Way to gorgeous! I just want time to freeze, oh, I wish I had a camera! And then I’d take him in my pocket, wherever I go…
“Mmm?” His little murmur brought her back to reality.
Suddenly Sahara forgot what he asked. “Uh?”
Smiling and taking one more step forward, Matthew said, “Are you well?”
“Oh! Ah, yeah, I’m good, my ‘Bending Space’ meditation will probably never let me get sick, I cleanse myself at least once every couple of days and…”
Crap! I’m…Talking too much…
Matthew took another step forward, then another, taking her into his embrace.
For a few minutes, two people were there hugging each other.
Even though she wasn’t going to admit it out loud, Sahara clearly hugged him back because she hadn’t been able to keep her heart.
It was really scary…It was scary because it felt so right!
Both Matthew and Sahara, not knowing it were possible, but felt even better. The troubles that they may have just recently thought about felt like nothing…The embrace was the most important thing they had done in what felt like days! Perhaps weeks!
She had learnt about this world’s currency, not important. She had befriended an unexplained, rare, golden eyed man…Not important…
She was an expert at making white pills, the best pills that can be made in the world…Not important…
But it was just something that you wouldn’t forget or regret. Loving someone was like a magnet of trouble! You couldn’t stay away, always bouncing back, it was so, very strong!
It’s like another type of pill! A pink pill…The next step up from white pill!
*Sahara’s thoughts on the ‘pink pill’ do not exist! The real pills are black, white or grey…*
