Sahara didn’t believe that waiting until hell descended on Green Haven was a good way to go but…What else could she do?
The best idea she could come up with, was to put some sort of shield up over Green Haven but…How could she do it so that no one gets hurt?
And…If the army outside plan to just go inside Green Haven, how could she stop them from doing that?
It seemed so silly, because she could come up with several ideas, yet was unsure about them all!
She could turn them all into beasts, but not all of them are black hearted, as most of them were just following commands of others!
Then, she could get their spiritual essence off of them but…Doesn’t that get them closer to ‘the end of the world’!?
The only thing that she could do, was give herself some time to continue to think, while she had it…
The other remarkable thing that Sahara did, was finally find Matthew’s real father!
Matthew hadn’t really cared too much, as his father hadn’t done much for him and was obviously doing his own thing, but when Sahara found him in the ruins of Golden Haven, Matthew started to get curious!
Since the conversation wasn’t that bad between them, Sahara used this chance to bluntly state about the army that intended to come to Green Haven, hoping that Matthew wouldn’t go off and try to become a hero or something.
Matthew had frowned, then narrowed his eyes. He went to talk but then closed his mouth.
Sahara smiled at him, “They may be after you, but they are also after Green Haven, so don’t think that they wouldn’t be coming if it weren’t for you. The golden eyes, both of them, believe that if they get the Haven’s as allies, they’ll be able to become the Golden Emperor.”
Matthew took her into his arms then, and sighed, his beloved probably knows more then he thought about the Golden Haven…Why did he think that he was still keeping a small secret from her?
After he sighed and kissed her forehead, he said, “So you told me so bluntly just to get out the information. I thought that it was otherwise…”
Sahara nodded, “Mmm, I told you for when or if we have to intervene. I’d prefer the spiritual essence not to condense, but…They don’t know about it and well…I don’t want Green Haven to perish for no reason. I’ve accepted the Emperor as my father, so I have decided that I will protect him.”
“My dear, you really are something, talking about my biological father in one second then talking about my Imperial father the next. If I didn’t know that you could change subjects so simply like this, I would have been very confused!”
Sahara nodded again, “I don’t know how you put up with me…”
Matthew kissed her on the forehead again and stepped slightly back, looking at her gently, “I know that I wanted to marry you after only a short time of being with you but…I feel like I’ve been…Waiting for you.”
Smiling, Sahara nodded again, “You are the reincarnation of Golden Emperor Marcus, and you and I have already met previously. It seems our love went beyond death.”
Matthew unknowingly put a strand of her hair behind her ears in habit, while thinking, and took a deep breath in, “…If what you say is true then…Perhaps I believe it, but…If we are reincarnations…”
Actually, it was almost like a missing piece of information that he has been searching for, for a while…He felt strange sometimes, especially when it came to his beloved, and it was sometimes unexplainable…Except for now, if he has had another life, perhaps that is the answer to all those strange and missing feelings…
Again, he deeply looked into her eyes and Sahara suddenly frowned, “You’re right! Why hadn’t I thought of it before! Why were we reincarnated in the first place!?”
With such a question, Sahara was then told by the spiritual essence an answer. Whether it was the answer that Sahara was looking for or not, it was still something that gave a new light to the situation.
Touching Matthew, so that he could perhaps hear or see what she was hearing and seeing, Sahara got taken to a timeline of Golden Emperor’s, then that of no Golden Emperor’s.
‘A cycle with and without, a cycle of condensing, a cycle that can forever go on in the hearts of men. We, the spiritual essence, may not be able to live without men, but we can see. With a Golden Emperor, men are happier. With the golden bridge, one is able to travel far and live another type of life. A Golden Emperor also helps bring a calm leadership over the rest of the Haven’s. We are condensing because we are only able to handle so much black essence, sometimes it could take a millennium for us to condense, sometimes not. It depends much upon the cycle that can forever go on in the hearts of men! With or without a Golden Emperor, there is a cycle in men, whether we condense and start again, the cycle of men continues…Perhaps this is just our fate, the spiritual essence’s fate of having to watch the humans like this every time. Our fate to only do so much and unable to stop the cycle! It is just an idea to see what would happen, as we have never reincarnated someone before. Whether you both being reincarnated or not will help, we are not sure. What we do know, is that Sahara has been able to do what no one had done before and be one that is able to talk to us like we are equals. To that, we are happy to finally be able to find someone to completely start to merge with and perhaps have someone who can speak for us!’

Sahara never ever thought that there was yet again, another point of view…
The spiritual essence had been here the longest, probably knows more and is more powerful than anyone…Yet it seems the spiritual essence can’t survive without that of men. The power it does have, is to condense, yet…Sahara knew that there was another thing…There was something else that spiritual essence can do!
With a sudden clarity, a strange sense of astonishment came over her and Sahara looked at Matthew in wide eyes, “Matthew, the spiritual essence, since I am able to speak with it and show others through using it about what happens, perhaps…Instead of people…”
Sahara shook her head and tried to make sense of her thoughts and Matthew laughed at her confusion, “Perhaps, what my dear is thinking, is that the spiritual essence can make another type of thought process, a third point of view, or something like that?”
Sahara blinked and started to nod, “Yeah, something like that! After all, the spiritual essence can even show what a person does and even feels, maybe if an innocent is being charged, I could show what the spiritual essence sees and feels and…Wait, how would people believe in that?”
Again, Sahara felt a bit confused, maybe even deflated. People, they don’t trust easily and something like showing someone memories could be seen as ‘false’. As much as she would love to think showing someone the memories or sight of the spiritual essence, it doesn’t mean everyone else would feel the same way…They may even start thinking that spiritual essence was their enemy…Humans were stupid like that!
Matthew took Sahara back into his arms again and looked at the sunset, “The Purple Haven Emperor, and all those people who saw what happened in Purple Haven, believed it to be true. They might not have completely trusted what they saw but I heard that they will get testimonies from the witnesses for further evidence. My dear, if this is to be done, we must make sure that the spiritual essence can’t be questioned. If we can show that someone was seen while something bad was being done, or that some evidence could be found somewhere, where the spiritual essence can only be fact, there is a good chance that people may have to think twice but…My dear…Are you going to be everywhere at once? How will you know if an innocent person needs your help?”
Matthew wasn’t a fool, he might state all these things yet, his biggest worries were of his beloved helping innocents against those who may have enough power to hurt her. Saying this, was to make his beloved realize that she couldn’t help everyone. And in some strange point of view, he knew that she could try to help but actually get herself into trouble in the process!
Sahara frowned, “I told you right, the spiritual essence talks to me! They know! If all I had to do was teleport, show where some evidence was to another, they could go dig it up and the innocent should then be free right? Or…Maybe I could dig it up myself or get someone else to without showing what the spiritual essence saw? Ah, I suppose it is a problem, people might start thinking that I’m the devil’s child or burn me at the stake…”
Matthew closed his eyes briefly, glad that his beloved was seeing things realistically. Although, ‘burning on the stake’ did stop him for a moment, because he didn’t even know what that was, but the idea behind of what she was saying was easily understandable.
Sahara didn’t know that on this planet there were not many stories at all through the ages of having one being burned at the stake. It was just one difference between Earth and here…That’s all…
After a moment of silence, Sahara said in a thinking tone, “…You may have been reincarnated to become the Golden Emperor perhaps, but me, I think I was reincarnated to not just be with you…But become someone that could help the innocent.”
Matthew turned to her, and frowned, “This Prince was not reincarnated to become the Golden Emperor!”
Sahara raised her eyebrows, “Didn’t you hear what they said, the spiritual essence stated that with a Golden Emperor, the men were happier!”
Matthew flicked her into the forehead, and said, “I thought you were not a person that cared too much for royalty!”
Yes, Matthew remembers quite well!
This woman had stated quite heavily that she didn’t want to be a part of royalty, back before they were married!
Sahara put a hand to her forehead, “It’s not like I’m asking to be royalty, hell, maybe we don’t even have to stay at Golden Haven…”
Matthew interrupted her crazy idea, “What are you talking about! The Golden Emperor’s place would be the Golden Haven!”
Sahara then flicked Matthew’s forehead, and then stated, “So what if you are the Golden Emperor, is there a law that you have to stay in Golden Haven? Apparently, all you need is to have the approval from all Haven’s, we could still travel and…Whatever…”
Matthew chuckled at Sahara being so different. Did any of the Golden Emperor’s think to leave their Haven? Did any of them ‘travel’? Did any of them even want to leave if they did think of it!?
Sahara frowned at him but cuddled into him afterwards. “We’ll think about it some more.”
Matthew tightened his hold over here and hummed. He really didn’t care too much about getting any type of approval, well besides his beloved’s. Whether the ‘men’ were happier with a Golden Emperor or not had nothing to do with him. Weren’t they doing anti beast barriers that was like a bridge anyway? If they did this a few more times, there was probably no need for a Golden Emperor and its bridge!
Hell, isn’t it even becoming obvious to a lot more people now that many of us were out in the wilderness? With this army, and then us, people probably won’t be so scared to come out here anymore…Granted it still had its beasts and wasn’t as easy to obtain water in some parts but…
Matthew was sure that even his thoughts upon the wilderness had changed since just a few years ago…
