CHAPTER 46 **The Innocent General**

It was literally death that had come upon the General’s body. His body was decaying…And his dantian seemed absolutely helpless!

His meridians looked like they had already been hit and seemed like a brittle piece of rock, that had started to crumble to pieces.

Was it even worth it!? Could I even help this person!? What the hell was this!?

Frowning, Sahara went through more areas of his body and found herself at a loss.

Where was I to start? Everywhere was dark and breaking!

Sighing, Sahara remembered the ‘sweat net’ and decided to do the best that she could at using the knowledge that she had.

The black dots, that seemed more like ash, was harder to keep it in the ‘sweat net’, not like other normal black dots. Sahara focused more intently, zooming in even further then before, and grabbing those slippery dots and teleported them out, before she lost them again.

Having water close by, Sahara had to continuously use it, to build a new net every time that she had teleported the one with the black ash out of the body and into an empty bowl close by. She wasn’t too sure why the bowl was there, or if it had been used or not beforehand, but now it became the container that held in this type of looking ash…

After the General’s heart was completely freed from whatever it was that had attacked him, Sahara didn’t use her spiritual essence to replenish it straight away, to what it had been before. It was really a strange type of sickness…It was as though this sickness wanted to get as much as it could elsewhere, before his heart stopped beating!

Racing through the body, Sahara hastily tried to rid of this ash, as she could see it very slowly wanting to go back to the places that she had already cleared!

It was hard work, as Sahara focused upon the lungs, the blood stream and nerves next.

If she could leave what could be left and replenish his heart and lungs, it should be okay. But, still having doubts, Sahara continued to get rid of the ash blackness instead, knowing now that it was still trying to attack the body.

After half an hour, someone found her and rushed off. But by this time, Sahara had only done the General’s spinal cord, lungs and heart!

She needed a lot more time!

People came running in and wanted to take Sahara away, but Sahara did not move. After they spent a time yelling at her, they became scared and wanted to remove her, just in case she was doing something wrong to the General.

No one seemed to notice that there was a bowl that was being filled with a black substance, which could imply Sahara’s innocence, if only they had thought more thoroughly about why she was there, they might stop annoying the poor soul fixing their master!

A steward had been called upon and when he was just about to remove Sahara from the bed…

…It was then that a very tired lady came in and told them to stop.

Sahara didn’t know what had occurred, but, a few minutes after, Sahara found herself in silence once again. She was sure that the lady that had come in, was indeed the same one that had been kowtowing in front of the ‘hospital’.

Even though she had arrived back half an hour ago, she had been crowded by a few people and she had also wanted to have a drink. By then she was sure that something had indeed changed, like that of her head and her sunburn, so she did have some faith and believe slowing growing to the hope that she had that her husband will survive!

Her maidservants had wanted her to rest, but she had been determined to see her husband, only to find quite a few people had come here while she had drunk some water.

She hadn’t thought to show the note that she had received, due to her tiredness, but she had vouched that she will take responsibility for this person and that they were all to leave the room.

Able to concentrate a hundred percent, yet again, Sahara finally finished the most important places and started to regenerate the organs. She had not completely gotten rid of the ash, but this man’s life was still in a dire situation. His lungs were eaten to a point of just being enough to work, his heart was pumping very slowly, and his other organs were nearly all but completely destroyed!

It was obvious that Sahara was faster than this ash, so she could spend a bit of time fixing some major issues with his organs, instead of getting rid of the rest of the ash first.

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

Of course, Sahara started with his heart, making it strong once again, and then she followed the blood around his body, so that his body was able to handle this suddenly stronger heart. She then fixed his lungs, to make them as healthy as a teenage boy, and followed the air in and out, making sure there were no other problems there as well.

Satisfied that this man was going to live now, Sahara moved on to other organs, and started to fix them as well.

Unknowingly, to the way that she was healing, Sahara didn’t just get his body back to normal…But she had given him more time to live, by making his organs somewhat new and healthy. Unknowingly, at this time, she had found a way to becoming somewhat immortal…

The General was a 35-year-old, but now his body, was becoming that of a twenty-year old’s!

One would definitely feel a difference, as Talon did question his health after Sahara had healed him, but he had been unable to ask about it…

***

Two more hours passed, and Sahara was running out of spiritual essence. Doing the ‘sweat net’, was a lot easier, but now that she was basically making her spiritual essence turn into something else, Sahara was losing it a lot more quickly!

Having had used some of her spiritual essence even before she started, because of helping the lady, she came to know that healing the General will have to be done in two ‘appointments’.

Continuing her ‘healing’, Sahara had not noticed that the General had woken up and seen what was going on.

He saw that his wife was in the chair close by, sleeping, and that a little, unknown girl was right beside him…

His eyes widened, and he quickly looked to his sleeping wife, to already apologize and state that he didn’t put the strange girl there…

But his wife was sleeping!

He quietly said his wife’s name, then quietly…Said her name again!

Help me! There’s a strange person touching me!

His wife never woke, leaving him unhappy. He wondered what he should do in this predicament!

Never having been with any other women, besides his lovely wife, the General looked from one female, to the other…

I didn’t do this! I’m innocent!

A few things came to mind, as the General finally came to his senses.

Am I dead? No…Is my wife trying to get me to wake up, by putting some mind control on me?…No…What if…This ‘girl’ might be like a shaman or an apothecary! Did my wife already think of me as dead?…No, she would never give up, this person can’t be a shaman. But…To try and poison me now would be a perfect time!

Reaching out his hand, to push this new, unfamiliar person away…The General stopped…When he found that he could move his hand and quite efficiently at that…

A light laugh left him, as he moved his hand towards him and saw his fingers.

Another hearty laugh sounded out, as he moved his other hand…He couldn’t believe it!

He can move! His hands were still sort of skinny and bony, but he can feel it and move his fingers, his wrist, his arms!

Giggles entered the room, as his toes could be seen moving under the sheets of the bed…

“Darling?” His wife said, getting out of the chair.

Walking up to him, she smiled as she saw his gloriously, happy face.

“Wife! I can move my toes! Look!” The General pointed with his now moving finger and hand.

Laughter rang out once again.

Having gone through all of her spiritual essence, Sahara stopped and went into meditation, completely ignoring the other people still in the room.

Sahara was unable to finish ‘healing’ the General. If whatever it was hadn’t continued to keep spreading, as Sahara was trying to get rid of it, she might have been able to do it in one setting…

Incapable to do anything until she gets some more spiritual essence, there was nothing else that Sahara could do, but wait.

She was sure that there wasn’t too much that could go wrong, as it was a very slow moving…Thing.

After an hour, of a few people coming to and fro from the room, Sahara just continued to sit there, meditating on the bed, right beside the happy General.

People cheered and gave their congratulations…They questioned ‘the girl’ on the bed, that gave no answer, but the General seemed to have accepted her when he found himself a lot better. He had already told his wife that he hadn’t put her there, so that she would know that he was innocent, but his wife only nodded weakly in return, only vaguely aware why it was alright not to bother about her in that respect.

And then, yet another came, whom people left the room for happily.

The house of the General’s knew of the Second Prince’s predicament and will keep his presence here a secret.

Watching the Second Prince only having eyes for ‘the girl’ next to the General on the bed, the General smiled at his friend.

“Boy, you see a pretty lady and you go like this? It must be raining or snowing!” The General laughed.

Matthew finally looked at the General and smiled. “You’ve met my Princess.”

Even though Matthew was stunned to see that she had gone back to being a female once again, he could see how beautiful she was…Even with males’ clothes on.

“Wha..What!? I might have to get a royal physician here to check on your health…Did…Did you just say, Princess!?”

Smiling back at his friend, Matthew nodded, looking back at Sahara. “I…She’s amazing!”

The General lost his smile and nodded seriously back at Matthew, “I had practically given up, my friend…”

Both of them sighed and couldn’t help but feel like fate had somehow intervened on an impending death. The General had been sick for so long, that they really hadn’t much hope left.

“Your…”

Matthew interrupted Band One, “Not here, I’m Matthew to her remember!”

“…Master.” It wasn’t like they weren’t used to the Second Prince being incognito, so both the General and Band One understood.

This time the General interrupted Band One, “Wait a second! She doesn’t even know that you’re…”

“Shhh!” Matthew muttered loudly.

“…Your kidding!” The General was flabbergasted! How can someone not know!?

It really was a question that all of them hardly understood the answer too. Everyone knew of the Second Prince, and many knew of what he looked like, few had even met him. Yet, there was one that had no idea!

Matthew turned towards Band One, and smiled, “I got your message…Is this what you wanted to tell me? That she can heal?”

“Your…Master, she seems to not need to touch someone’s pulse, nor need any kind of ingredients. It really is quite…Astronomical!”

Matthew could see that!

Turning to his beloved woman, he couldn’t help but feel like she was a goddess, while he was a measly, little servant!

The amount of gratitude he had, for not only what she could do, but for saving his friend…

Matthew took a deep breath and smiled, he hadn’t thought that he could fall for her even more then he already had, but he just did…

That feeling of belonging came over him once again and he could not help but continue to stare at the silent, sitting person, that seemed to have no idea about his feelings…
