It was the next day and Sahara wanted to return back to Green Haven, wanting to take Felix to the Auction house and see how much a pure, white pill will sell for!
Matthew didn't want her to leave the bed for half the day and even suggested that they go to Green Haven another time.
Sahara felt pretty good though and said that they'll go later, as the Auction House didn't start the auctioning until three in the afternoon. Not only that, but she didn’t want Matthew to feel like she didn’t listen to him or that she didn’t like his ideas, and besides, it wasn’t like it was a life-threatening situation…So, for now, she was happy to take it easy and willingly stayed put for half the day.
The hours of the Auction House used to be in the middle of the day, but the person who had taken over it last had moved it to being opened sometimes until it was dark. At first, people hadn't agreed to it, but to those who had gone there personally, they felt like it was a dramatic improvement, as light pearls were placed around the place, and it looked really nice.
This was an idea to have people see that the extra expense and renovating, and in seeing this, that it would attract even more people to come...And over time, it had worked!
The meals are better, the place is bigger and when it turns dark, if it is still going when it goes dark, the light pearls come out and one of them is really quite big!
Since Matthew couldn't talk his beloved out of the trip back to Green Haven, he made sure that she did not work for breakfast and lunch and Steven started to get lonely by then. He came in to see Sahara after breakfast, with Naruto, and silently pouted.
Sahara could see what he was doing and chuckled at him. He was still trying to learn how to help people, but just like her, he was also not very good at talking to people. There were only about two differences between them, and that was, Sahara had the guts and know how to block cultivation bases and tend to children, and she was also able to talk with authority, which did work rather well. Otherwise, they both failed in becoming popular with friends or trying to show that they cared.
Sahara hadn’t been able to show the people of Purple Haven who she really was yet, so there were only minimal times that she had made others laugh, and even less times that Steven had made them laugh…
They were far from being the perfect leaders, and they knew it, yet they were the ones that had forced situations to happen for the people to band together…But…Matthew was even doing better than Steven…And Steven was having trouble coming to terms with that!
While working with Matthew, to get breakfast ready at four and five in the morning, not many words had been said. People seemed to not be silly in front of Matthew and Steven simply wondered how he'd gone wrong! They played up on him while he was in charge!
It simply wasn't fair!
Sahara could only get his mind of his problems, so she asked him how he was going in removing the earth elemental spiritual essence, so that he could get pure, white pills to work properly again.
Seeing Steven ease up and show her a round ball of earth, Sahara nodded approvingly at him, and Steven smiled back.
He had learnt the basics in the fire element and the metal element. And finding the basics in earth element was a lot different to what Sahara does.
Sahara sees colors and simply orders the brown color to do as she pleases, but Steven had to learn to find the earth element through a big mess of spiritual essence!
It was very different, as being able to zoom in and see colors, was only because she had learnt 'Bending Space' Meditation. Everyone else can't easily differentiate the difference between each elemental spiritual essence.
So, Steven did well, and Sahara happily told him so…She also told him that they will go to Green Haven later and come back soon.
Steven lost his smile and slumped down, since Matthew had come, he'd spent a lot less time with Sahara...Was he to be casted out now?
Sahara put a hand on his arm and sighed, "Steven, you are my brother. If we leave here to reside somewhere else, you are coming too...We will be back."
Nodding slowly, Steven got up, still holding Naruto, and tried not to show that he loved those words. He kissed her forehead then kissed the little man's bump, just like Matthew, and ran out…Almost like a little boy…

Sahara gave a short laugh and shook her head. Steven and Matthew had done exactly the same thing and they even looked similar! Even though her thoughts were of such, others may have thought differently if they had seen it. Having another man besides your husband kissing you was quite a big no no. And even though Matthew knows that he and Steven are blood related, and that Sahara has only accepted Steven as a brother and nothing else…He would still not be happy to see such a close intimacy happen between them!
Taking a breath out, Sahara got serious and sent a star out to check out upon the men who are still on their way here and saw them packing up their things. It looked like most of the rain had stopped there, only drizzling a bit, but showing that the storm had mostly passed.
The rain here had lasted until breakfast was served, so people stayed inside right up until then. Sometimes they were able to do something before breakfast, but Sahara had spoken a long time ago, that when it is raining, it is not compulsory that people work. Of course, sometimes it is needed, because food has to be collected or cooked urgently, but when it came to building, that was something that could just wait until it stopped raining...
The men out in the wilderness must have stayed there for quite a few hours, and Sahara saw them quite open and alert, especially since they were able to see further now because the fog had cleared.
It must have been a relatively good sleep too!
Seeing the General looking bored as Joshua explained why they couldn't leave earlier in an irritated voice, Sahara shock her head.
Ah, I wonder what he'll be like when he gets here!
Before she was going to leave the vast land area, where the people were travelling from Green Haven to Purple Haven, Sahara saw that they were having trouble getting everything out, so, suddenly, someone charged a huge force of air towards one of the sides but the earth element wall hardly budged. Considering that she was using spiritual essence at a higher cultivation base, it wasn’t really surprising at how strong the earth wall was…
Sending her spiritual essence into a piece of stolen hair, she cut up the huge side wall that she had made for them, so the notes that she had for Prince Seth had now been dropped to the ground.
She made the wall disappear as quickly as she could, because she was going to Green Haven and didn't want to use all the spiritual essence that she had accumulated since the night before.
She had simply strengthened the piece of hair and then ‘cut’ up the earth elemental wall and it all seemed to fall into pieces after that. With a bigger piece of earth elemental wall that was ‘cut’ off, she then used it as a shovel and then moved all the little pieces away to make it easier for them to get things out of the covered area. Of course, she left a good sturdy place every now and again, so that the rest of the earth wall and roof wouldn’t fall down anytime soon, as they were still underneath it…
After that Sahara once again picked up the bundle of notes, transferred from a small piece of earth, for Prince Seth and took them to him.
Matthew, having proudly told her that a few people matched up from some ‘tests’, Sahara wanted to keep the Prince informed. One of the five that she had sent earlier to him, was one of the ones that had done the writing test and Sahara had bluntly written that in, stating as well that she was happy with that person’s conduct…
After they said thank you to the air around them, Sahara retracted her spiritual essence and then went back into meditation. She had already meditated for an hour after breakfast, and now she was not full of spiritual essence anymore!
Sometimes it was just too much work when helping people!
Through doing this, time slipped by so quickly, that three in the afternoon was coming close and Sahara was thinking about the livestock that they should be able to obtain soon. It had been a week since they had last visited, and she wondered if they had gotten the chance to get approval for it now.
Matthew walked into their dwelling, to find Sahara like this, and frowned, “I think we shouldn’t rush, my dear. We don’t have to attend the Auction House if you are tired.”
Sahara stood up and cuddled him, “I’m not tired. But…I did think of something.”
Matthew smirked, her ideas were always unusual. “Mmm, tell this Prince.”
Sahara pulled back to look up at him and gave a strange smile, “I hadn’t put much thought into it, as it was just an idea, but what if…What if I could make an anti-beast barrier that goes from Purple Haven to Green Haven?”
Thinking about getting more women here, to satisfy the male population, had briefly let her think of this idea, but again, that is as far as she has gotten. She had not even attempted to see if it could work, yet alone thought that it was a good or bad idea.
Matthew shook his head and slowly smiled, “It is a great idea, but…For now, while you are pregnant, let us not worry about it.”
He put his hand over his hidden son and bent down, wanting for Sahara to forget about this suggestion right now. They already had so much to worry about, so much to focus on and accomplish, now she wanted to add something else as well!
All he wanted was for her to relax, and it seemed like wishful thinking, a far and distant thought!
He felt the child move slightly under his hand and it really was a nice feeling to behold and something that happened very quickly…As he sadly didn’t feel it again afterwards.
It wasn’t the first time that he had felt an unborn child move, as he had felt his child when Isabella had been pregnant many years ago before her death.
At night-time, he would sneak in some time with his small, growing son, while his beloved was sleeping…Seeing that his son could cause Sahara some discomfort, Matthew would whisper to his son in a bossy nature, which didn’t always work…
But…It was still magical and an unstoppable amount of unconditional love that he felt. His pride and joy were that small, moving being, and his love and happiness was the one carrying it. It was such a good package!
Many times already, even with feeling dirtier and busier here in Purple Haven, he had thought that he had never been happier in his life…That he already knew that Sahara and this child was his family and that they will be together! That…He would do anything to have that happen…What was being a Prince, what was being royalty, always having followers and never going without a bath…That was all nothing!
Shaking his head, Matthew tried to act calm once again, knowing his thoughts were running away from reality. All he had to state was that he was a man and that he was going to look after his family, anything else would be kept safely and silently in his heart!
