Since Gabriella didn’t know the specifics, Sahara went straight to Prince Liam to find out more information, this time without skimming so much through his spiritual essence.
And it was there, one conversation that she had missed earlier!
It all depended upon Felix and what child the Emperor’s consort was having!
They didn’t like that Felix had not been found but since he hadn’t and the baby had still not been born yet, Prince Liam had decided on two plans.
One was, if the baby was a boy, then they were to start taking the throne. The other plan was to wait longer if the baby was a girl.
Sahara frowned, obviously Prince Liam wanted power and even was putting his future half brother or sister on the line for it.
No wonder the woman had lost all hope in Prince Liam loving her…If she knew now that the person that she had loved was planning to kill her child…
Seeking out the consort that was due to give birth, it didn’t surprise Sahara that it was coming close to that time as the woman was now…Very…Big…
The Emperor was still alive too, and Sahara felt like she could breathe a bit, as she seemed to have some time before drama was going hit.
Wishing to know how long she had until the child was to be born, Sahara went into the lady’s body.
With a sigh, Sahara not only knew that time was of the essence because labor could happen shortly, but the child was indeed a boy.
The Emperor will be pleased…
It really wasn’t time to worry about that though, Sahara thought.
She had to try and come up with a plan to stop Prince Liam. She had to save the baby boy and keep the Emperor alive!
But…How?
The most basic thing to do was probably to kill Prince Liam and make his death public, then any rebellious actions would be for naught and may not go on at all.
But…If she would just go to kill him, with no proper evidence…
Then, she can’t just go ahead and do whatever she wants, especially actions that are selfish, because then she’ll get a headache and probably faint…
Who said I was being selfish!? It’s not revenge when I think it’s the most basic thing to do is to kill him! It’s reasonable…Right?
Letting go of the distance between her and Green Haven, Sahara opened her eyes and found that she was still in Matthew’s lap.
“I’ll speak about it after we eat. Kin is probably starving as well!”
Sahara got up and pulled Matthew up with her, who didn’t let go of her hand afterwards.
“Is Imperial father safe?” Matthew asked, obviously concerned.
Sahara walked quickly to the entrance, that she didn’t enter last time, and was glad to see an area that food was.
“He’s safe for now but we need to get ready for a plan.” Sahara stated, sitting down.
“Ah! My daughter in law is here! Eat up! Christian caught all these yesterday!” Lavender finally got to see the girl that stole her boy’s heart. She had wondered what had happened to her earlier and was surprised to see Steven walk in and ask for a sword…
“Lavender…” Christian might have finally accepted Sahara as their daughter in law but why did he have to use all his hard work to feed her!?
“What?” Lavender glared at Christian, only making him turn away and shrug.
Sahara didn’t worry about the two and began to eat. It was dried meat now, guessing because it would last longer this way, and then there were some other things, mostly vegetables, that were on the table.
Everyone was there now, except Steven, who was watching Gabriella, and Felix, who was also being watched by Steven.
It was only a couple of minutes after Sahara started eating, a little one feeding at her bosom, when Felix walked in silently.

Turning to face him, Sahara saw his relief and he walked up to her, but still didn’t say a word.
“Take a seat and eat.” Was all Sahara stated, turning back to her food.
“I got to feed him too!?” Christian asked in irritation.
Sahara looked at him and said, “Eat your veges.”
“I…Don’t like the veges!” Christian retorted, once he understood what ‘veges’ meant, then he picked up some more meat, slamming into his mouth.
Felix flinched but with Sahara’s nod, he sat down and kept to himself silently, nibbling at the food in front of him.
Sahara then ignored the big child that was mumbling and continued to eat, probably faster than she normally was…Well having to eat while on the run, one had to eat fast! On the other hand, in her previous life at least, she had been a foodie and liked eating, so eating fast was almost normal. In this life though, Sahara didn’t want to be overweight like last time, so she had tried hard to eat only what she needed, and not too much extra.
How fast Christian ate was quickly forgotten though, as she was thinking about what was the best thing that she could do about the situation and didn’t even know Kin had stopped drinking from her and had fallen asleep.
“My dear, tell me what is happening so that I can be of help.” Matthew stated. He had enough of being left out and even though it was probably a good idea to have a normal meal first and then speak of the problem, he could tell that his Princess was busy thinking!
Then she must include him so that he can help!
“Prince Liam is planning to not just kill the Emperor but that too of his unborn half-brother. I don’t know the best way to stop what is happening. Prince Liam has only several men, but they seem to be all over the place. He also has a plan to get out of the cold palace, which is when he would be the only heir left. Even though he can’t bear children anymore, he still has his eldest boy, so that isn’t holding him back at all.”
No, the fact that he was punished by Sahara to lose his manhood was going to be a secret for as long as possible, but it still was not enough for him to stop!
…He didn’t learn his lesson!
Matthew narrowed his eyes in thought, and then asked, “So, he’s not going to attempt to escape the cold palace?”
Sahara shook her head.
Matthew, after a moment of thought, smiled, “This might work to our advantage.”
Sahara looked at Matthew and waited for him to continue.
Seeing her full attention, Matthew couldn’t help but take a second to appreciate it, before he continued, “If he has no plan to leave the cold palace until he is called out, then we have to just make sure that his plans fail. The plan is known to us, which is his downfall, as we can now disrupt it. If the child is safely born and the Emperor is also safe, then Prince Liam will not leave the cold palace.”
Sighing, Sahara looked at Matthew, “Prince Liam is hoping that he doesn’t have to do anything, which only tells me that he has someone else doing all this work for him. He has loyal eunuchs on his side, and it seems they are the ones that will make the move on the Emperor. As for the child, one of the people that will be there when it is born will…”
Yes, Sahara hated that this was it…That this was the plan.
None of the men that are under Prince Liam will need to help…It was up to the midwife and eunuch to carry out that part of the plan…
Matthew sighed, “Then why did you not say this before?”
Sahara shrugged, why does he think she was having so much problem with coming up with a solution!?
“Can’t you just get the midwife and eunuch away from the Emperor and Consort Light?” Matthew asked.
“No way! Stop thinking of that plan right now! No more people!” Christian angrily said.
…So, he was listening too…
“It’s not like they have to come here, send them into cells or perhaps…” Matthew said but Sahara interrupted him, “That was the only plan I’ve come up with so far. To find the ones that would act and then put them into prison.”
Matthew frowned then, “Are you sure you have all of the details? What if he has ministers on his side, ready to act? And what if his men that aren’t with the Emperor or Consort Light, are they doing something else important? What if they return to finish what the eunuch and midwife wouldn’t do?”
Putting down her ‘homemade’ fork, that had gotten Christian’s curiosity at one stage, Sahara looked back at Matthew, “Prince Liam’s men are all mostly looking for Felix, with the orders to kill him. I have to admit though, I don’t know what the ministers are doing.”
It was true, she hadn’t thought about the ministers at all so far…
Felix stopped upon this news about himself and lowered his head further. He felt utterly useless and didn’t know what to do to redeem himself.
He had not been able to defend himself and had let fear grip him, only now making him feel like this. Now…Now he was dependant on his teacher, his master, for not only being taught about Bending Space meditation but now his complete safety. How could he be even considered as the next Emperor of Green Haven with this type of event happening in his life and he not be able to do anything about it!?
It really wasn’t the time to just comfort someone who needed to grow stronger, but Sahara did frown to Felix’s thoughts and looked at him, “The first time when you are in trouble always makes someone feel uncapable. Don’t let it get to you, Felix, and learn from it hey?”
Felix didn’t rise his head, but he heard her words.
It was indeed the first time that he was in so much trouble and he did indeed panic but…How could he think he was a man if he just runs away!?
He had not even thought to fight back, even though he had tried to, it had all been through…Through basic and simple instincts that had helped prevent him from getting stabbed earlier. Then, when he was capable to think of it in the first place, he remembered to teleport.
Sahara remembered a long time ago when she had forgotten herself that she could teleport when she had been in trouble and knew that he just needed some time. Felix needed some fighting lessons…Perhaps with a certain…
“Ask the General to fight you a few times.” Sahara stated.
That’s if he can get away from looking after that stupid family…
Sahara took a moment to recollect a quick, recent memory from Gabriella and was also wondering if Miss Haves was a part of the plan too…
It was another reason to check once again on Gabriella’s most recent memories but in less of a rush. Perhaps Miss Haves might know something as well…
Really…Too much was happening all at once and it would have been better if she had taken more time to look through everything but…Time was also against them! Especially since Felix had disappeared, it almost felt like every second counted…But what to do!?
With the baby nearly fully grown in Consort Light’s womb, Sahara first had to make sure that her labor hasn’t started and continuously keep an eye on her. Having had two other children beforehand as well, Consort Light’s childbirth may even be quite quick so…They really needed to figure something out…And fast!
