Chapter 959

Chapter 959:

Caden let go of Alicia.

Hank entered and said, “Mr. Ward, your discharge papers are ready.”

In the corner, Alicia hastily adjusted her hair and smoothed her clothes.

Caden quickly drew the curtain to hide her and then made his way out.

Noticing a lipstick stain on Caden’s lips, Hank realized Alicia had been there. He coughed discreetly and averted his gaze. “Get the car ready,” Caden instructed. “I’ll be down in a minute.”

“Understood.” Hank left promptly.

That evening, back at the apartment, Alicia tried out a new dessert recipe for Caden.

Aware of his dietary restrictions due to a stomach condition, Alicia prepared the cream without sugar. She sampled a bit on her finger and offered it to him. “Does it taste okay?”

Caden leaned against the counter, encircling her with his arms. Rather than tasting the cream, he kissed her finger. “Sweet,” he said softly, his gaze intense and predatory, showing little interest in the dessert itself.

Alicia’s entire body tingled from his warmth as she whispered, “You haven’t even had dinner yet. Can you wait a little?”

Caden responded playfully, “What are we waiting for?” Alicia, left speechless, scooped another bit of cream and fed it to him.

Caden consumed it eagerly, his throat moving visibly as he swallowed. “What’s this reward you mentioned today?” he asked.

A sparkle lit up Alicia’s eyes. With a smile she couldn’t suppress, she teased, “I’ll tell you when it’s time.”

Before long, whipped cream was playfully smeared all over Alicia, which Caden licked off her slowly, savoring each moment.

The sweet aroma of cream filled the living room. Caden, caught in the moment, debated internally whether Alicia or the cream was sweeter.

Their embrace, intense and enduring, seemed unwilling to relent.noveldrama

With remarkable patience, Caden explored every corner of their apartment with Alicia, each space echoing with memories of their togetherness.

Alicia felt as if she were in a dream, one from which she had no desire to awaken.

Droplets of sweat from Caden, clinging to his skin, fell onto Alicia, making her feel as though she too was dissolving like the cream.

After their repeated moments of closeness, Caden and Alicia paused on the sheets for a quick rest.

He kissed her face tirelessly while Alicia, exhausted, clung weakly to his hair, her throat dry.

She looked up, her eyes moist. The handsome man before her gazed down, his deep affection evident. Sweat had soaked his hair, adding a wild, enticing element to his appearance.
