I've seen this user interface so many times and I still can't get used to it. Why is total damage not capitalized? Why is there so much information I don't need? Why would I ever need to know that it doesn't inflict a status effect when the item I'm using something that can't inflict status effects in the first place?
I'd complain to the guy who designed this, but I'm currently throwing rocks at them, so I don't think they would listen to me for criticism.
Still. I'm really, really close, if I can just last a few more centuries then-

I die
what
WHAT-
HOW
no, okay, I'm throwing pebbles at you for MILLIONS OF YEARS, AND THIS FUCK JUST KILLS ME IN ONE HIT?
I DIDN'T EVEN SEE THE ATTACK, I DIDN'T EVEN FEEL THE DEATH, WHERE'S THE HIGHLY TELEGRAPHED ATTACK, WHERE'S THE STYLE.
IF YOU DIDN'T WANT ME TO THROW PEBBLES AT YOU FOR AN ETERNITY, THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD'VE SET YOUR SYSTEM TO NOT MAKE ATTACKS DO A MINIMUM OF 1 DAMAGE.
I don't open my eyes just yet, I bathe in those feelings, frustration, anger, maybe some despair in there.
It's nice, I didn't aim for negative feelings when I started doing this whole “kill a god with only rocks” thing, but those are still strong feelings. I don't feel those a lot anymore. And strong negative emotions make the other parts of life feel a little better. So really it's a win-win, right?
I pat my chest real quick, it's pretty flat. Guess I'm a boy today, or a really flat girl, doesn't really matter either way, but I've been a girl for long enough to want a little change y'know? Alright, enough time wasted, let's see where we ended up today~
Steampunk! Sorta.
It's more industrial than steampunk. There's a lot of smog and rusty pipes. A LOT of pipes actually, the streets are made out of pipes, the houses are made out of pipes, nearly everything seem to surround itself in a network of pipes that spreads everywhere. Same thing when I look down, tons of streets made out of the same pipeline. But I can't see the bottom, if there even is one. As far as I know, this is a planet made of tubes. How do people even navigate this? I can't see anyone actually, hopefully this isn't a post apocalypse scenario. But everything looks well maintained enough that there must be some kind of inhabitants.
But first!
“Menu!”
A thousand or so holographic screens throw themselves in front of my face, making me flinch at the sudden visual noise. I sigh and swipe through a bunch of those menus to see if there's anything new, but alas, no new toy to grace my eyes.
I pull out my trustworthy Ultimate Menu to confirm my suspicions. And just as I thought, most of the data it shows is a variation of “cannot access this universe's system”.
That's fine though. I can work with this. A systemless universe is a breath of fresh air if anything. The problem is I need to find a brand-new gimmick now. But I don't want something too hard like last time, is there anything I can work with around here?
I look at all the menus I have and then back at the “streets” surrounding me.
Ho! I think I have an idea!
