Chapter 190 – 0
This story will not end in victory.
This story was not meant to be a tale of victory.
This story is a tale of deprived.
Deprive, is to be denied.
This is a story of those that was deprived.
Thus this story returns back to before Dolce took a sleep in her own room back in the Alva’s compound. The story points back at Zola Dawn, the corporal, the super soldier that got enhance to save humanity and act as its vanguard. She was a person that possessed powerful Psion-based abilities and an exoskeleton suit that could allow her to go further the limits of a superhuman.
In this world she was strong. She was someone who could contend with a high ogre and face armies. She was not a God, however. She could not face an entire nation. She was superhuman and could go beyond that. But she was not tireless. She could face an entire barrage of missiles but she will get injured.
She was strong. But she was human. She wasn’t anything other than human. She was Psychic Human, but she was not beyond that. She was a superhuman but she was still human. She has mutations but she was not a mutant. She was a human no matter how she gets improved.
Zola Dawn was still near the area where the Empire spies were lurking. She was standing on a vantage point along with her pup named Titus. The whole hill was now covered in snow. The area was covered by a snowy mist that any normal human being wouldn’t see. But she could see. She was not a normal being.
Zola Dawn has been guarding the area against spies. Each and every spy she catches turns dead the moment she spots them. Of course, the situation got worse the moment the enemy got a wind of her presence. She was sure that she was covered by her cloaking device. Her belt and Omni-Forge allowed her to stay out of sight.
But the enemy was not foolish. Zola Dawn’s presence wasn’t going to disappear. The enemy that she was now facing wasn’t simple at all. They used a different language but she was able to catch a scout and was able to learn the scout’s language by analyzing the scout’s language pattern.
She was smarter than most use humans. She was built to stay alive and be wiser. She was a super soldier that was meant to fight highly advance super aliens. The Quietus made her and the human race she knew to evolve into beings that is beyond human.
Learning a language to her was easy. Learning the enemy was easy. She was able to anticipate the horde of enemies that were trying to sneak their way inside the villagers and towns of the city. She learned that the enemy was well-versed in the language.
The scout she captured told her: “We were told to learn the language. Knowing the language would allow us to win!”
The enemy was unable to lie before her. The human race in her world has come so far. They achieve the impossibility of building a Dyson sphere, the absurd feat of harnessing the power of a star, just so that they can fire an anti-planet type superweapon that could destroy a planet from a distance.

By that time humanity has discovered many ways to get information from someone. The truth serum was something that perfected and she was able to gather enemy intelligence. Because of that, she was able to intercept enemy spies and eliminate any Trojan horses that tried to sabotage the demesne.
Zola Dawn wasn’t proud of her work. It was a natural result of her job to succeed. She didn’t underestimate the enemy. She knew the potential of humanity more than anyone. She knew how dangerous the whole of humanity was. Humanity was able to conquer the stars and usurp galaxies.
Yet as she stands at the vantage point she made her camp. She looked down at the high caliber sniper rifles of the enemy. It was an anti-Material, 50cal sniper rifle that could punch through a tank without any problem. Getting hit by one wouldn’t leave Zola Dawn unscathed.
Snow fell on top of her head and piled up. Zola thought that despite not underestimating the enemy. She believes that she still underestimated the enemy unconsciously. She believes it that she was smarter and stronger than the humans of this world.
She was not God. She was no omnipotent enough to calculate the human mind. She could predict them. She could know their pattern and think what they think. But humanity was dangerous because of their way to adapt. It was not absurd to think that the enemy she was hunting would soon adapt.
She expected them to do so. But to face twenty master snipers who possess anti-material rifles. It was a shock to Zola. She expected them to possess the same weaponry that the demesne have. But it was far better than what they have.
She said to herself. “Looks like the enemy we are facing is far superior to what I thought they would be. To think they will have these kinds of rifles.” She said with a poised look. Zola pointed her palm at the anti-material sniper rifle and her Omni-Forge was able to consume them in an instant.
What was left was the print of the rifle on the snow. Zola Dawn looked at the far distance. She squinted and wondered what the thing that was shining far away from her
Her hear squeezed. Her instincts screamed as she immediately prone and avoided a bullet traveling from a distance. She grabbed hold of Titus. She rolled away and she jumped away from the vantage point. She active her Psion-based abilities and defended herself from the anti-material sniper rifles that trying to kill her.
Her eyes moved in such a monstrous way. She was able to count thirty enemy snipers that were targeting her. She wondered how they were able to get close. She wondered how they were able to snipe her despite the distance. She never thought that it was impossible.
She has seen what humanity can do.
She could feel the danger of the sniper rifles.
She could hear the booming shots that came from the barrels of the anti-material rifles.
It was coming towards her.
