It was dark outside when it woke up. It didn’t want to open it’s eyes, fearing that maybe everything that happened the day before might just have been a dream.
However, the feeling of fresh air and a weird feeling all through it’s body told it otherwise. Mustering up courage, it slowly opened it’s eyes, greeted by a sight it hadn’t seen in 50 years.
Trees. Grass. The blue sky. How long had it been since it had seen such things? He found himself in the middle of a forest, on top of a weird metal altar structure, if it could be called that. There were trees all around him. The leaves were green, others red or yellow, some were even blue.
Getting up and stretching, feeling more free then ever, especially since he had no chains on it’s body, it started looking around for something of reference. It had always dreamed of being freed, released from that world. It had been put in tests against animals or even humans, forced to try and survive in the wilderness, tortured to see how far he could resist and various other experiments. It now had been freed from all of this. It couldn’t help but smile.
When it had met the so called God, it hadn’t really thought much about it. It taught he was finally going to die when he arrogantly asked the god for all of those gifts, but much to it’s surprise it was granted. It couldn’t help but finally let out all of the grief to someone whom at last wouldn’t see it as a mere test subject.
However, he felt somewhat empty. What was it going to do now? Conquer the world? Live a normal life? Go on adventures? Explore space? Learn the magic of this world? It wasn’t sure. It had never thought too deeply about what to do after it was freed.

Deciding that it was best if left for later, it started walking in a random direction, leaving it to fate where it shall go. After about 30 minutes of sightseeing, watching animals pass by, and the occasional strange creatures that appeared, it finally arrived in a small clearing with a pond in it. There were strange beaver-like animals with horns on their head that somewhat resembled rabbits in their lower bodies.
It decided that it wanted to see what was in the pond, thus slowly walking towards it, keeping an eye on the beaver-rabbits. Once he confirmed they weren’t hostile, it looked at the pond, and was pleasantly surprised to see the reflection of itself.
It now looked like a 14 years old girl, 150cm tall, hair as silver as the moon, sharp red eyes that resembled lava and a small nose, it looked very cute in it’s opinion. Maybe it could finally stop calling itself ‘it’ and call itself ‘she’? It (now she) decided to abandon it. [Embrace this new life] she thought.
Feeling satisfied, she resumed her stroll in the woods, eager to test out it’s new gifts and explore this new world.
She travelled the entire day, and when night finally fell she climbed up a tree. She had earlier found out that her small body was actually even stronger then her previous one. If she took a rock in her hands she could crush it with very small effort. She still retained the trait of her previous life, meaning she didn’t really need to sleep, eat or drink. However, her feeling of constant starvation that had always haunted her remained.
Once she was up on a decent size branch, she positioned herself in a confortable manner. She hadn't encountered humans nor beasts, but she knew they were around from small hunting traps and scratches on trees. She didn't really want to go back to civilization, she despised the very word itself. But she knew she most likely had to go in order to get stronger. She also had a feeling of nostalgia, after all, she somewhat wanted to go to a medieval world and become an adventurer, and get spoiled by the people. No, thinking about it, she definetly did want to get spoiled, but not by people she didn't care about. She somewhat wanted a family that would care for her. With such toughts, her counsciousness slipped into the land of dreams.
