Battle With The Princes

Battle With The Princes

William activates his bloodline power and is thrust upon the prince. It was an attack that was too quick for the prince to almost respond. He started with his usual classic move. With the sword, he holds in both hands, makes a single cut from top to bottom.

Although William was stronger than those of his rank, his opponent was a medium bronze rank. He could sense that they were equal in strength. He was able to understand this in his current hit.

When the sword cut through the prince's head, the prince's sword greeted him.

“ Dinggg .”

The prince was taken aback by his strength. He could feel that he needed to be a little more careful. Even if he used his own speed technique, it was obvious that he wouldn't be able to keep up with his footsteps. But the swordplay was something different. He was confident in his defense. At least his arms were fast enough to meet William's sword.

William was not disappointed when he saw that his attack was met. Although he always considered his own speed to be superior, at the end of the day he was still not bronze level. He had even thought that he could compete with the silver rank wolf before, but such things were nothing but a fleeting sensation. Maybe he could reach that level by combining more diverse and better techniques, but for now, he was not at that point. However, from the prince's movements and the way he held his sword in a defensive position with both hands, he also understood that he had an advantage over him in speed.

The prince could understand that Chad would be on the defensive until he finished off Sora.

He thought he had nothing to do in this situation. He had to use all his strength and speed. He hadn't used the movement technique until now but now was the time. Again he stepped back a few meters in front of the prince.

He activated the new movement technique he created by combining it. The best part about this technique was that it was quiet and burning. If he wanted to get past the prince's defense, he had to be extremely fast.

He was suddenly thrown before the prince in the same way. The prince could feel that he was faster this time, but he wasn't worried about a frontal attack. As soon as he saw William's silhouette, he raised the sword above his head again. He seemed confident that it was the same form of attack.

William had indeed aimed at his head, but very abruptly he gave up and crossed his sword. The sword seemed not to touch the prince. So the prince placed the sword in front of him again. At that moment, William was able to make up his mind. With the momentum of the sword, he placed himself on the right side of the prince. The tip of the firebringer was stuck six inches into the ground.

The ground was classically hard stone, and the firebringer had entered with ease. What happened next was even more strange. William gave strength to his foot again with the movement technique. On his own sword, before the prince could even turn to his right, William had somersaulted and was pulling his sword from the ground with one hand. The moment he pulled the sword out of the ground, the sword flared up. He wielded the execution sword. Then he took a small step once more, coming behind the Prince.

The prince did not understand what was going on at this point, but he knew that he had to turn his face towards him. But when he turned to his right, William was still to his right. And he could see William's orange-red glowing sword entering his waist. Even though he had reinforced armor on top, the sword cut him like butter. He began to feel the heat of the sword as soon as it touched his armor.

William was also looking at the prince's face. He was watching his every move carefully. He was especially careful with the sword in his hand. Even though he had armor on, he was currently bent over and had no protection on his head. Fortunately, he had specifically targeted the prince's right side. Because the prince was right-handed just like everyone else. So it was more difficult for him to cut William on his right, either making a stabbing motion or wasting some time and raising his elbow to cut to his right, as his last resort he would have to let go of his left hand and cut with one hand. By making this move, William had forced him into one of these three options.

The prince could feel the sword moving cleanly towards his kidneys. He thought that if he swung his sword back, he would be hurt more. So he chose neither of the three options William offered him.

William was also waiting for what he would do. He would decide his next move based on his choice. For now, he was still forcing the firebringer to cut his body in half with one hand.

A moment later he felt an incredible danger. The prince had a sweaty expression with a scowl on his face, but his lips were slightly moved. The moment William felt this danger, he didn't mind cutting any further and backed away with all his might. In one step, he had retreated tens of meters. What happened next confirmed his decision to retreat.

The prince was suddenly illuminated by the light of God. It had become brighter than any light he had seen before in his life. He looked like a sun in a human body. The one-meter circumference of the prince had shrunk a few inches.

He could hear the name of the technique he used from the prince's moving lips. "Blessing of Light." He said in a low voice.

After a few seconds, the light disappeared, leaving the old prince in its place. Parts of his body were still glowing. However, when he returned to William, he was out of breath.

William had seen that this ability not only provides attack power but also healing at the waist he had just cut. The skin under the molten armor was slowly healing. In just a few seconds, the wound was healed, but the burn marks and blistered skin were still the same.

William was sure that the prince had spent most of his qi, moreover, while fighting Leslie, he had not yet applied any of the techniques Leslie had shown. If he used any of these techniques after that, he would either hide his strength or prepare for a final attack.

But the prince surprised him again. Of the abilities they possessed, he had chosen the simplest and least expending qi.

The prince chose to transform himself into a bipod lamp. Since the light was stronger and the distance was greater, it was obvious that it showed power depending on the level of the person who applied this technique. William needed to be more careful about approaching now. There was no such thing as any healing potion with him. Moreover, he did not know how good his own healing ability was. He was absolutely sure that he would not be as good at this as those who used the plant element or the light element. He just hoped that his bloodline power had improved in this regard.

He grabbed his sword with both hands again and acted in the same way. The attack style was still the same, cut from above, from below, left diagonal, again from below, then left flank and right flank. It was a self-acquired sword style. He didn't put much effort into it, but it was extremely effective. Because his strength and speed were often at a level that the enemy could not counteract.

“ Dingg !” Ding !” “ Dingg !” William was constantly swinging his sword, and the prince was always welcoming. At first, William thought he was not at a disadvantage in melee, and the prince could still take his blows, but he could feel the prince's movements stiffening and starting to weaken.

The only bad part right now was that the exposed parts of his skin from the armor were starting to burn as if he had gotten too close to the inside of the volcano. He wasn't even that impressed with his own sword, but these princes' standing lamp techniques could erode his skin. William attributed this to the element of light. He was sure that if there was fire, he would be able to withstand stronger attacks.

The prince's condition was very bad right now, as tired as someone who had been beaten for hours, even if he could take all of William's attacks. Every time he raised his sword to meet it, he swallowed back the blood in his throat. If he could delay it even for a moment, it would be more possible for his big brother to either take care of them or escape.

Every time William swung his sword, 'Enough is enough!' he wanted to shout. He even knew that he would turn around and run, but that William would not let him. He looked at William's face and saw someone frowning, struggling to pass his sword, ready to strike a thousand blows if necessary.

In those weary moments, he thought about where they went wrong. He saw this rich, carefree life as a privilege of the rulers, and had always been taught that way. Because of his talent, he knew that he could reach the bronze level even though he didn't want to. He always thought he worked hard, though not as hard as his older brother. He worked so hard because he thought that he should be a useful prince to his family after a while.

At this time, there was almost nothing left in the qi pool. All he could do was counter a few more attacks with the strength of his body. He wanted to turn to look at his brother. Even if just for a moment.

The two met eye to eye as he glanced at his older brother a few hundred meters away. After a few hits with Sora, they broke up and began to glare at each other. Chad felt for a moment that he had to turn around and look behind him. When their eyes met at that moment, the Prince realized where they had made a mistake.

Because Chad's eyes were smiling. As if he liked his death!

Then he turned and looked at William's face again. It wasn't even for a second, but he saw William raise the sword and hesitate. He then nodded to William. His sword fell in his hand. He had already knelt before William's persistent attacks. He had his hands open.

Although William was still frowning, he realized that the enemy before him was experiencing something like last-minute enlightenment. But he still had to kill him for the sake of the mission. His sword, which paused for a moment, came down again. He cut the prince's neck cleanly.

In his final moments, the prince still thought of his brother's smile. 'We're so hungry for power. We thought not of the kingdom, but ourselves. If the tiny island is so arrogant, what's the real world like?'

These were the last thoughts that crossed his mind, but with William's sword, even those logical thoughts were ended. One of the members of this family, who had always excelled in light, had fallen into eternal darkness.

William had seen him staring at his brother in his last moments, too, but he didn't turn to look, just in case. He looked back again and saw Chad yelling for his brother's death.

“JAAAAAAAYYY!!” He had a frowning, angry expression on his face, but his eyes were telling the contrary, he seemed genuinely pleased. Prince Chad was so engrossed in acting that he didn't notice Sora behind him.

William hadn't even looked at Sora at all. His eyes were on Prince Chad.

William saw at the last moment that Sora was making a stabbing motion with the dagger in both hands. The stupid mighty prince, on the other hand, was so good at acting that he didn't even realize Sora was attacking him. The dagger in his right hand went to the waist of the prince, and the dagger in his left hand went to his back.

“ Splash !” “Ding!” The dagger he stabbed into his back was stopped by the armor, while the dagger he had stabbed into his waist had pierced his waist through a few millimeters of opening. But as soon as the dagger stabbed, the prince turned again, and Sora had to leave the dagger on his waist with the prince. He didn't have time to pull the dagger back. He stepped back a few meters and followed the Prince.

The prince staggered a few steps and put his hand on his waist, he had made the biggest mistake he should not have made in his life, maybe inexperience or stupidity unknown, he did after all. He had drawn the dagger stuck in his waist. Even a small child wouldn't dare to take it out as long as the dagger wasn't poisonous. He knew he would lose more blood after all. Even if he used his Light ability to heal himself, he wouldn't be able to replace the lost blood in such a short time.

He felt more comfortable when he drew the dagger and stood up straight again, looking at Sora. But he made another mistake. That was to mistake Sora as his only opponent.

By the time he drew that dagger, William had already attacked very quietly and quickly, activating his foot technique. Moreover, with the execution sword, he also activated the buffs of the one who brought fire. He didn't have to worry too much now that he would waste his qi because of the eight drops. He could use it freely in a short battle.

The prince was taking an attacking position while holding the sword with both hands, but he felt a warmth on the left side of his back. Before he could turn his head, he positioned himself a few meters to the right. But it was too late. William's sword had cut through his armpit several inches deep. He was too weak to hold the sword with both hands now. He held the sword in his right hand and pointed the tip downwards. This was the simplest of the one-handed great sword-wielding techniques.

But the prince was number one at making mistake after mistake. This time, he had forgotten about Sora, as he had positioned himself on William and became weak. With the only dagger in his hand, Sora quickly approached and stabbed the prince on the left side. On purpose this time he left the dagger in his body and stepped back.

The prince shouted this time. "Damn it! Sons of bitches! If you have the guts, come one by one!” he shouted and dropped the sword on the ground in his right hand. A light enveloped his body and he began to shout.

“RAAAGGGGHHHHH!!”

Looking intently at the prince, William saw that he was not healed, but was trying to do something different. But he didn't understand what he was doing. He asked Sora, keeping his attention on the prince. “What is he doing?” Because he didn't feel any danger, he was hesitant to attack.

“Is he trying to advance to the silver level? I don't know either." Said. Sora was also surprised. It looked like the Prince was going to launch a super powerful attack soon, but even after a few seconds, he just kept on shouting. The only thing that changed was the light in his body. It seemed to be getting more intense.

William noticed that his scent was starting to change slightly, too. It was like he was getting stronger.

If it was what Sora said, he couldn't wait any longer. Again, he activated the execution sword and its power-ups. Then, with his movement technique, he suddenly appeared in front of Prince Chad. He cut him from shoulder to waist with his sword.

“ Arggghh!!”

“ Splash !!” It was a clean cut. Blood began to gush from the prince's mouth, and his severed upper body slowly slid to the right, leaving his lower body.

In his final moments, the prince said, 'Why?' He could hear him begin to mutter quietly.

After confirming that he was dead, William took a deep breath and holstered his sword. Then, turning to the confusedSora, “Why did he ask 'why' at the last moment? What was this bullshit?" he asked.

Sora was also happy that this fight ended quickly and cleanly, but he did not expect such a thing at the last moment. Everything had been so easy. Then he thought of that famous bullshit.

“I think I've heard of something like this. This was said to be an unwritten rule among warriors. It was said that if someone was about to level up while fighting, they shouldn't be attacked. There was talk of honor and pride.” Said. He still couldn't get over the surprise on his face.

William was also surprised. “What nonsense is this. Should I not kill him but wait for him to get stronger and then kill me? What a shitty rule. Fortunately, we are alone here and have no witnesses.” He smiled.

They thought that this battle would be very difficult, but they felt that they should thank all four princes for not being so quick and tiring. With difficulty, they found a small piece of land in the already narrow strait and buried them all in the same place. Then they cut their swords in half and made four tombstones out of the four half swords. Since their armor was worthless now, they buried it together.

William took the dimensional bag of all four of them. The first two princes to die were very poor, but he couldn't say that for the other two.

In the dimensional bag of the first two princes, there were several light techniques and several low-level techniques from different elements. The soul stone he found total from the two of them wasn't even close to a hundred. He only counted 89.

For the other two princes, he could say 'rich enough'.

Prince Jay's dimensional bag, he found four hundred low-level soul stones, the same light techniques, several different elemental techniques, several types of herbs, and several types of armor. But these armors were all at the advanced apprentice level. That's why William didn't care. Still, he kept it because someone in his family could use it. His dimensional bag was ten square meters wide, and he hid it because he thought he should give it to his family.

Finally, William looked at Prince Chad's dimensional bag. This time it wasn't enough to say 'rich enough'.

He should have said 'absolutely rich'. His dimensional bag was twenty square meters. On one side was a bookshelf, filled with various techniques. In total, he found fifteen hundred low-level soul stones and thirty mid-level soul stones. These were placed in a small chest in a corner. Then there were dozens of varieties of plants that were boxed separately. All of these could be used to make various potions. Since William had not yet read the books on basic potion making, even if he knew the names of these herbs, he did not know what they were used for, there were only a few herbs that he had guessed from the name.

But this prince also looked like his most precious armor. It didn't have any extra armor. Afterward, he couldn't find much, so he turned his eyes to the bookshelf. Among the hundreds of books, he was able to find a few that might be useful to him. Because most of them belonged to the iron level. He was pleasantly surprised on the bookshelves, finding two bronze rank contracts and one iron rank contract. He could use it for his family.

After he organized everything and transferred all the items to his dimensional bag, he hung the others around his waist. The dimensional bag of the three princes was ten square meters, while Chad's was twenty square meters. He was thinking of giving the big one to his grandfather.

He then turned his head and looked at Sora. He had found the frightened horses five hundred meters away and brought them back. They would take them back too.

Sora asked when he saw William looking at him. “Are you ready, young master? Shall we go?"

William nodded. “We have lingered long enough. Let's go." He said and got on his own horse.

With six horses, including two and below, they set out for the capital.
