William minded his own business, knowing he couldn't bother the little wolf before the academy competition. Within a few minutes, eight bronze rank wolves had arrived at the cave where the cocoon was located. They were all wolves who had been on the hunt yesterday, who had not participated in the bloodletting ceremony.
He quickly took their blood from them. When he combined it, he had exactly three small lineage crystals in his hand.
Reyis seemed to have more or less understood the merging ratio from his movements and blood. Otherwise, why send eight wolves? William had no problem trusting the old wolf. His grandson became his companion thereafter.
Moreover, the moon-swallowing wolf bloodline was stronger. Now, when he stood in front of Reyis, he did not feel the slightest fear. He could even see that the other wolves in the pack were looking at him with respect. He could feel a great deal of envy, especially in the eyes of the silver rank ones.
Then he returned to Reyis's cave. He surrendered the blood and spoke,
“I have to return. I got an assignment from the academy and I have to deliver it in five days.”
Reyis opened his eyes, looking first at the lineage crystals, then at William. He wasn't very greedy like other wolves.
“Duty? What mission?"
“Just a simple task. I need to kill a gold-striped python.” He said, raising his hands. He wanted to show that he was helpless.
"Ah? You people have a very complicated business, but if you want, I will tell my children, they will hunt for you. What do you say?"
"Really? Would you do such a thing for me?" William was excited and happy.
“Why shouldn't we? After all, we are friends helping each other.” said Reys. A faint smile could be seen on his lips.
William was also delighted to be seen as a friend by them. He immediately accepted.
Then he spoke again with a helpless expression. “Still, I must be back in five days. But I can stay here for five days. Is there a place where spiritual power or metal element is abundant? I feel so empty after absorbing his bloodline power.”
William's feeling was correct. After absorbing his bloodline power, it was normal for him to feel half empty right now, as his body's elemental and spiritual power capacity increased. He had one more question on his mind, but he would have to wait until he found a place filled with spiritual power.
“You can enter the spring of spirit if you wish.” Said Reyis, closing his eyes.
“But I don't want to waste this chance. After all, you said I could get in for a month.”
“You can come in if you want, for now, I will not absorb the lineage crystals until my body is at its best. You can come back later for your remaining days.”
"Really? Thank you very much Reyis!” said William, the more he talked to him, the more he liked Reyis.
He felt that Reyis was treating him like a greasy customer who came to his shop, but if he was going to be treated like this, it was worth it to the end.
William handed him the crystal that contained the silver moon wolf's bloodline power, turned, and left the cave. He was going to the cave where the cocoon was located to wait, but the silver rank wolf stopped him. He made his way across the valley, telling him to follow him.
Many types of wolves as he passed through the mountains. He finally realized that they could be considered a true tribe. Thousands of different types of wolves lived here.
He felt that he might have some proximity to the wind, especially when he felt the sharp winds in the area he was in. He could also sense the wind, though not as clearly as he felt the fire and metal element.
When he looked across the valley, he saw fiery wolves with fiery red fur entering the caves, stone wolves with yellow fur, and water wolves with blue fur on his side in the rainy region he passed by himself.
Reyis had created a perfect living space here. Most likely, wolves of different elements were brought by the noble family who owned it before. He was amazed by the ecosystem of the valley between these two mountains.
He also knew that the real owner of this ecosystem was not Reyis, so he knew that the creatures he would encounter in the future could be stronger.
Soon they came to a waterfall where the two valleys meet. This waterfall was less than a hundred meters long, but fifty meters wide. He had even seen wolves fishing under the waterfall at work.
Just as silver moon wolves were agile when they used their bloodline power, they were like fish in water when they used their bloodline power.
The silver rank wolf took him into the waterfall. Since the waterfall was not so strong, they passed easily.
Once inside, William saw the silver rank wolves again, waiting like two sentries. These were the same wolves that met him in Reyis' cave when he first came to the valley.
When they saw the two of them coming, they just looked at them. They continued to lie down without making any movement.
The two continued through them into the cave. After a while, William began to hear the sound of water. But that sound was a bit dripping. Their final destination was a huge cave. It was at least the size of two football fields, and he could see various mushrooms glowing blue on the edges of the cave, flowers glowing white, even spirit flowers growing silently next to them!

'So this is where the spirit flowers come from? No wonder it's so rare. Who would dare?' he thought.
The silver rank wolf did not advance any further. He simply pointed to a deep-looking lake, almost the size of a football field, in the middle of the Cave.
“Is this the spirit fountain?” He asked pointing.
The silver rank wolf nodded and turned back. William thought he should record this place and quickly drew a scribble in his notebook and took notes.
Then he approached all the plants, examining them one by one.
When he finished examining, he couldn't help making a surprised face. He understood more and more what it meant to be strong.
If Reyis had this much treasure when he was not even one of the four lords of the island, how rich would the lords of the island be? William would have to find that answer himself.
He then undressed and approached the pond. He was naked as he had nothing like shorts. He looked at his own reflection in the water and his lips curved. 'Perfect body!' he praised himself. Then, when he put his feet in, he realized that this whole big lake was a structure made of pure spiritual water!
He practiced the meditation technique. As soon as his fingers touched the pond, his missing spiritual energy was restored! He almost had tears in his eyes!
He did not dare to enter the pond. He was afraid that at the slightest distraction in meditation, the spiritual power in the Lake would inflate him and explode.
So he sat on the edge of the lake and only his pinky toe made occasional contact.
There was a different feeling in William that he couldn't explain. Normally, when you accumulated three drops of qi, you would combine all three to advance to the bronze level. But right now, William felt he could make the fourth drop.
The meditation technique allowed such thinking. He did not need to switch to any new meditation technique for this. William had never heard anything like it anywhere before. This feeling came after that bloodline gained strength. He felt that he could do this just as his body felt empty. With a huge lake full of pure spiritual power in front of him, it would be foolish not to try.
At the same time, he was afraid. Because he will take a path that no one else knows and will be completely alone. Because he also knew that he was not smart enough to create such meditation techniques. He attributed this to his way of thinking.
He still tries to live as in his old world, so he thought. He had not yet accepted his true self, that he was from this world. That's why he used humor in most situations and swearing when he couldn't describe the situation.
You can think of it as a mentally immature teenager. Or as a completely realistic situation. Either would be an appropriate way of thinking.
William finally decided not to combine the three drops, but to form the fourth.
With an abundance of spiritual strength in front of him, he quickly began to squeeze the qi that he had absorbed into his mist-shaped body.
Exactly six hours later, sweat the size of chickpea had accumulated on his forehead despite the cool air. He had the expression on his face as if he was going to explode the next moment.
"Ah!" said. He let out a slight sigh. It wasn't a sound he made out of pain.
There was some surprise and some joy. A little bit of the effect of six hours of painful meditation.
He had succeeded! When William looked into the qi pool, he saw a fourth drop there. It was exactly the same size and shape as the others. It was impossible to enlarge the size of the drop. It was as if it had to be in a certain mold. He felt that this world had a rule. Just like the laws of physics existed in his previous world. These things were insurmountable!
Yet even though he had formed the fourth drop, it still felt empty! He felt he could do more drops. Various questions still came to his mind from time to time. “Is this the right way? Is a lineage necessary to become stronger?”
While pondering these questions, he continued to meditate.
It took him twelve hours to form the fifth drop!
Sixth drop twenty-four hours!
The seventh drop is thirty-six hours!
The greater the number of drops, the greater the difficulty. Right now, with seven drops, he felt that he would have no trouble dealing with any of the bronze tiers. He even felt like he could stand up to the silver level if he used all his strength. Still, without the bronze rank, being unbeatable at the bronze rank was an excellent thing. The worst part was that as the difficulty increased, so did the spiritual strength he needed. As William formed the seventh drop, he had to put his foot completely into the spiritual spring. Moreover, the speed of regeneration with meditation was no longer meeting his needs. He needed to acquire a new meditation technique, perhaps even a combined one. This time, when he returned, he set himself the goal of improving his execution sword and meditation technique.
He felt it was time to go back.
He didn't have time to test his bloodline strength again. He sighed with disappointment and left the cave. Back at the academy, he decided that he would rent a cultivation room and test the power of his sword, which he did not understand.
He came out of the cave and left under the waterfall, bowing to the silver-level wolves next door.
He hurried on his way back and came to the cave where the cocoon was. The little wolf was still in the cocoon. He didn't bother him. He said that he would go to Reyis and leave. It would probably be three or four weeks when he came back.
Reyis told him that the gold-striped pythons were hunting and to go and get them.
William was worried as he left. “Pythons? S? Plural?"
When he entered the fourth cave from the left, he realized that his worries were true! Inside were at least twenty gold-striped python corpses.
The silver rank wolf that brought him was waiting at their head. William asked with a strange expression and a bit of surprise. “Did you save their entire lineage?”
The silver rank wolf muttered something softly and shook his head.
William's blood froze! He understood that they had killed nearly all of them, leaving only enough gold-striped pythons to perpetuate their lineage.
"They're villains!" he thought. He covered his face with a mocking smile. He soon regained consciousness and threw the pythons into his dimensional bag. They fit easily since it was wide enough and even the largest bronze level python was smaller than a bronze level worm.
When William wanted to leave the valley, he was blocked by the silver rank wolf.
The silver rank wolf told him that he could not leave alone, that he could be in danger if he accidentally entered someone else's territory. William almost had tears in his eyes. “Now I have strong people behind me too!” he thought.
He was always jealous of people with high-status relatives. Now he himself looked like one of them. He quickly thanked him and let the silver-ranked wolf take him away.
But this time he didn't get on it. He ran alongside him! Seeing that the silver-ranked wolf William could keep up with his speed, he became grumpy and embarrassed. He mobilized his bloodline power. William didn't stop either. He mobilized his bloodline power to keep up with him.
Using 'Like a Volcano' he was able to run sideways with him, but he still fell behind because he didn't want to crash into trees or rocks. And to hurt the pride of the wolf. Wolves were proud creatures. He feared that he might become depressed because of being beaten by a human or tied up with him.
As fast as they had come, they said goodbye fifty kilometers behind the academy.
Growing stronger, William eventually returned to academia.
...
If he had looked back a few hundred meters later, all his pride would have been crushed. Although William couldn't see it, the silver rank wolf was stalking him from a blind spot. He had a sly bastard-like smile on his face. It's like, 'You have to eat forty more loaves of bread, son!' he was saying.
