Throughout this whole ordeal with the system, there were hints and some very obvious clues that showed that his ‘Teqx’ was on ordinary Teqx. First of all, it was colored black. In the history of the entire world, there were only primary colored Teqx that corresponded to the different routes that led to the apex of the world: yellow for Money, blue for Fame, and red for Power.
Of course, there were some rumors of other colored Teqx, but even those unfounded gossip only went to the secondary or tertiary colors like green, violet, etc.
The powers that he obtained from this Teqx was also something abnormal. Every Teqx, no matter if it was an SSS-class Blue Fame Teqx or an FFF-class Red Power Teqx, acted like a seedling. They all started at a base of zero, and it was up to its user to nourish and water their powers using hard work and determination. Even if they had the mythical Dragonic Physique Teqx or the sought-after Maestro of the Abstract Arts Teqx, they were not guaranteed to be godlike beings. They cannot use their talents to slide through their strength easily, they also had to work for it.
But Patty’s system didn’t act like that. Even if Patty decided to lay in bed all day without working his muscles to failure or exercising the creativity in his mind, at the end of the day, Patty would still improve his physique as if he had just run a marathon. And that was all just because of a single minion that he obtained from the summoning sky.
And even if he didn’t train his reflex like those famous race car drivers with reaction times of less than 0.1 seconds, with a single A-class minion like the Muscava, he became instantly better than those professionals. His reaction improved so much that time seemed to slow down!
That was just two minions! Judging from the myriad of stars and shining stellar bodies in the summoning sky, he guessed that there were a lot more and a lot better powers that he could get as a minion. These minions could improve an aspect of his body instantaneously without any effort at all.
Just the thought of these minions would drive people crazy. And the fact that those that are at an A-class or higher could manifest themselves into reality meant that this wasn’t just a made-up fiction of the system, but an animal that was living in an alternate dimension. How powerful could the system be that it was able to summon these animals at random from wherever dimension they came from?
A Teqx that improved itself was unheard of. A Teqx that could summon powerful minions that gave him any power with no drawbacks was a global treasure. Even the fact that a Teqx was colored black would be the talk of the world all over the internet in a matter of seconds. Each of these characteristics would drive a greedy frenzy from anyone with the ambition to become a Supreme Being. Global corporations, conglomerates, and monopolies would be clambering to take it for themselves.
If they found out that all of these were in one Teqx…
Unfortunately, there was no way for them to take Patty’s Teqx, even if he wanted to. As far as he knew, there was no way to get rid of a Teqx once it had assimilated with a user. Too bad, Patty thought. If he was able to sell off this Teqx, he could be set for life and never have to work a single second again. No more school, no jobs, nothing. Just lazing around all day.
But he can’t. And if he were to advertise to everyone in the world about his Teqx, even if it wasn’t possible to steal a Teqx, everyone would still try to lock him up in a cage to experiment and try to get his powers. Some may even just kill him just because of envy.
So if anyone else had his system, then they wouldn’t complain about anything and just be thankful for having this overpowered Teqx.

Patty was grateful for the system, don’t get it wrong. He was. But, there was just one thing that spoiled this whole thing for him: it was the system’s ulterior motives. It became painfully obvious what the system wanted him to do.
The skip button was one of those things. When he first received this option, he thought it was too good to be true, and that there were probably some drawbacks to this skip. And it turned out that he was right. He learned that the system could take control of his body whenever he skipped a mission. And every skip would lose an hour, which meant that no matter how simple the mission was, the system still had an hour of free time with his body.
Now for others, this would be a red flag–a deal breaker. But to be honest, Patty wasn’t really all that concerned about it. He was actually pretty fine about it. That was because from his perspective, the simple button that would allow him to skip cleaning the dishes, skip making breakfast, and skip taking the bus to school was more than worth it in exchange to have one hour of lost time.
He didn’t care that the system did whatever it wanted to do for that one hour. If it killed someone, if it hacked a government secured website, or if it was an alien that wanted to find out about humans so that they could conquer the whole world, PATTY DIDN’T CARE. As long as Patty gets to be lazy, he was cool with anything.
The crux of the problem lay there exactly. Judging from the missions and the actions of the system during the skip, Patty figured out that the system's motive was for Patty to NOT be lazy!
First, it healed his body burns in the hospital so that he wouldn’t be able to skip school for a whole week. Then, when Patty decided to skip school for one day because he didn’t feel like going, the system decided to exploit the skip free hour so that Patty would be forced to go to school! Patty just wanted to make a simple breakfast, and instead when he opened his eyes, he was at school. How cruel was that?!
That was the deal breaker. Commit crime, sure. But force him to be a hardworking student? NO!
“You made a mistake, system.” Patty looked at the mirror.
Only now did the system stay silent. It didn’t flash the mission again.
“You showed your hand. You want me to go to school, you want me to listen to lectures, you want me to exercise and prepare for the Physicality tests, you want me to keep staying in school and don’t want me to be expelled. It looks like someone wants me to have a good education and prepare myself for the future. HAH. You can’t make me better! I WILL BE LAZY!”
“...”
As usual, the system didn’t answer. It was speechless. It didn’t think that trying to help someone prepare better for the future was that big of a sin. If it was anybody else, they wouldn’t complain and be grateful. After all, they would probably already be studying their tests, sculpting their body, or engaging in multiple company internships anyway. By then, the system’s mission was just extra incentive with pretty good rewards.
But Patty wasn’t just an ordinary person. He prided himself with being lazy. And by expecting Patty to think about the future and worry about it, then the system was setting itself up for failure.
“HAHAHAHA, now I know your weakness…”
“...” Why did the system feel like a bad omen had just manifested itself?
Patty was definitely planning something. But the system couldn’t figure out what he was going to do. His face just looked like a maniacal evil villain who had a devious plan for the main character. His laugh even matched it.
The system didn’t think that Patty would be that perceptive about her intentions. In her opinion, Patty was an obtuse and lazy person who needed to be whipped up into shape.
“hahaha…HAHAHAHA!”
Patty was so engrossed in enjoying this situation that he didn’t notice that someone entered the bathroom.
“I’m always watching everything you do! You literally can’t hide from me!” Patty said in the mirror. Unfortunately, with the way a reflection works, it looked like he was talking directly to the student who just came in.
“Uh…” A student who just wanted some peace and tranquility couldn’t even find silence in the bathroom. Even here, it looked like he still had some weirdo following him.
“Dude, I know I’m very handsome, but you shouldn’t stalk me in the bathroom.” The student walked back out and slammed the door behind him.
Patty muttered, “what? No I didn’t…” but unfortunately, the student didn’t hear his explanation. “Uh, whatever.”
[Mission]
[Requirement]

Patty’s only response to that lame joke was, “haha funny.”
