Now that he thought about it, having a memory eraser was a great way to make sure that there would be no one who saw his powers. In the future, he would probably get more and more helpers like Andres and the interns. At that point, even a contract couldn’t ensure that his identity wouldn’t be found out.
After all, no one could give out any Teqx, either Power, Fame, or Money, to anyone without any restrictions. As long as the Teqx existed in this world and it was in the F-class and D-class Teqx, then Patty could give it out to anyone. And as long as he had enough Credits in his system, then he could give out as much Teqx as he wanted.
This was completely broken. Most companies could only give out a very limited amount of Teqx to their employees. There were two reasons for that. The first was that they only had a limited number of high-ranking Dreamers in their midst. The second reason was that most companies valued quality over quantity.
For example, a Dreamer in the Apex Realm with a Power Teqx (Aspirant > Visionary > Paragon > Apex) only had enough mastery over the Power Fabric of the universe to give out 20 F-class Power Teqx. A company could decide to initiate 20 new employees with F-class Teqx. However, the Apex Dreamer could also use that energy to give out a B-class Teqx.
Most companies would rather have one B-class Teqx than 20 F-class Teqx.
However, Patty didn’t have that restriction. In the future, when he advanced more in his cultivation, he would probably unlock the options to buy C-class and above Teqx from the system. At that point, he could surround himself with a hundred B-class Dreamers, powerful in their own right.
That would get the attention of most companies. After all, he would be the foremost wanted company in the entire world. Students would flock towards him to get a Teqx for themselves. They would no longer have to rely on the internships of companies. They could get a Teqx from Patty without much trouble at all.
The most surprising part was that Patty was only in the Aspirant realm, yet he was still able to give out a Teqx to his subordinates.
At that point, he wouldn’t be surprised if even top companies from the entire world would want to find out more about his powers. By then, it would only be a matter of time until people found out about his overpowered system.
But with this memory eraser, he could finally protect himself. If he had to fight someone like Griff and was forced to use all of his powers, then he could use the memory eraser to make them forget his powers.
It was unfortunate that he didn’t have this minion when he fought Griff. Thankfully though, Griff made a pact with the Chain God to never tell anyone about Patty’s powers. If he hadn’t then, Patty would have been forced to keep him silent forever.
“Umm…master. Can you level me up?” the goggles tilted themselves left and right in a very adorable way.
And since Patty found her power useful, he decided to honor her wishes and upgrade her levels. Thankfully, he had plenty of Minion Growth Crystals to spare.

He decided to spend about half of his MGCs to level up the sheep to level 35.

--The user will gain the ability to make anyone forget their memories during the last 3 hours and 30 minutes. The user can suggest a false memory for the target. The more detailed the false memory, the more the target will believe it to be true.
“Thanks, Master!”
“No, probs. Now I just have to relax in this empty classroom all by myself.” Patty let the massage chair run all the time, making him relaxed as if he were back in the comfort of his own home. He didn’t want to go home by himself. He was waiting for Andres and the others to chauffer him back.
He would rather wait here till the end of the day rather than go back on the bus again.
The Physicality Tests were separated from different sports. There was the track and field, there was the weight lifting competition, there was the swimming competition, and there were others as well.
To make it fair, the competition didn’t only judge the physical strength of a student. If they had a different talent in the arts or with production, then they would be allowed to participate in that event.
For example, there was a smithing competition ongoing right now for those who were aspiring to be in the Money Route. They were judged on their creativity in design, and their execution in bringing that design to life, all the while being subjected to harsh physical conditions.
Some of the novice blacksmiths had to create a knife while having hundreds of kilos of weight on their backs.
For those in the Fame route, there was a popularity contest that consisted of gaining the most votes while undergoing intense workouts. This tested their natural charisma, and those truly popular would garner votes even if their sweat-soaked shirts clung to their body. They would get votes even if their face was full of grime and dirt while trudging through mud.
Of course, to make it fair, the events were divided into two: those who had Teqx, and those who didn’t.
Mario was one of those who was selected to join the Track and Field events for the Power section of the Physicality Tests. And since he had a Teqx, he would also go against other students who had Teqx of their own.
He steeled his resolve as he walked up to the track. Even though he should be concentrating on his race, he still couldn’t forget the fury and anger he felt when he learned that Patty got a perfect score even without doing anything.
It truly felt unfair. If the lazy bum Patty could get a perfect score while doing the bare minimum, then shouldn’t he also be given a perfect score? He was so much better than Patty. He was already a contracted employee from the Ruobber company, and he was already given a D-class Teqx from them.
And because of his Teqx, he was confident that he would get first place in this event. He could nullify the air resistance around his body, making him so much faster than the other competitors.
He was confident he’d get a perfect 100 on this test. However, he detested that he had to work hard for it, unlike that lazy bum Patty.
As he walked up to his lane on the Track, he suddenly saw someone out from the corner of his eye. When he looked left, he saw that it was someone he knew!
Not only that, this particular person was also an intern from the Ruobber company. However, unlike this guy, Mario already finished his internship and gained employment with the Ruobber company.
Last he heard, this guy quit the internship!
“You’re name’s Jorn, right?”
Jorn looked back at Mario and the bad memories flashed in his mind. This guy was one of his tormentors in the Ruobber company. Even though they were both interns, Mario would abuse his seniority and make Jorn do the tasks that he was supposed to do! This led Jorn to miss his deadline.
The worst part about it was that Mario was praised for his work, while Jorn was berated and punished! And because of Jorn’s work, Mario was able to get a contract with the Ruobber company. It was truly unfair.
“A sight for sore eyes. Mario. I’m surprised you don’t have someone else to run for you.”
Mario frowned. He didn’t think that Jorn would have the confidence to stand up to him. He usually cowered and held his head down. Jorn should be groveling to him, begging him to use his influence so that the Ruobber company could take him back.
Jorn should have looked depressed and broken. After all, he was a failure in the Ruobber company internship.
“You’re in the wrong competition. This is only for those with Teqx.”
Jorn smiled. “I know.”
“That’s impossible. You failed your internship. There’s no way that you could get a Teqx.”
Jorn shrugged. Because of the power he obtained from Patty, Jorn found a new sense of self-confidence. He wanted to berate and shout at Mario for all the suffering that he endured. He wanted to give back double the pain that he felt when he was back in the Ruobber company internship.
However, he changed. He no longer looked back, he simply looked forward.
The best way to get back at Mario was to ignore him. After all, if he continued to serve Patty, he would soon take off into the stratosphere, transcending the world with his newfound powers. At that point, Mario would be nothing more than a pebble he used to walk over.
Mario looked at Jorn’s PE uniform and saw the official red band wrapped around his arm. This was only sanctioned to those who were actual participants in the race. It looked like Jorn really did get a Teqx somehow.
He snorted. “Ha! From what garbage company did you get your F-class Teqx? You know that it won’t make a difference, right? I suggest you close your mouth because all you’ll be doing is eating my dust!”
Jorn smiled and simply said, “You know what. I’ll give you a headstart. You’ll need it.”
