Dom, the only one left who hasn’t yet shown his powers, looked through his pockets. The only thing he could find was a steel ballpoint pen. His eyes immediately hovered over to the clip at the side, it felt very familiar and felt like another part of his body.
With the new powers and information loaded onto his head, he knew immediately that this was made out of an iron material. Even if it was diluted a little bit, he could still feel the original iron atoms inside the clip of the pen.
Like little children who waited for their father to come home, those iron particles inside the ballpoint pen suddenly surged out like it was magnetized of some sort. All of the iron dust and debris gathered just above Dom’s hands as if gravity did not affect them.
With just a thought, he was able to make those iron particles move to the left, move to the right, and even converge into one single pure iron block. He knew that he could manipulate iron the moment that he consolidated everything he learned from the merging with his Teqx.
If he had a block of iron that weighed a ton, he knew that he could use just a finger to lift it! Even if it wasn’t heated or smithed, he knew that he could bend that iron into whatever shape he wanted! If he wanted to, then he could make an iron suit that protected his body from harm.
It would be the best armor ever! If the iron was dented or destroyed, he could simply remake them with just a thought in his mind. As long as he had enough iron, then he felt like nothing could ever make him bleed.
This was his dream!
[D-class Iron Manipulation Money Teqx]
Each one of the interns marveled at their new powers. When they talked to Patty about their dream Teqx, they didn’t think that he would give them the very thing they desired all along! What kind of monster was he?!
Not only was he able to summon any specific low-class Teqx he wanted, but he could also summon all Power, Money, and Fame Teqx?! That was impossible! What kind of monster were they looking at?!
They looked over to Andres and saw that he was chuckling to himself. He seemed to have derived some happiness from seeing the new guys become baffled, awestruck, and dumbfounded by Patty’s powers.
When he witnessed it for the first time, he had no one else to experience it. It was good to see that he wasn’t the only one who would be dumbstruck by Patty’s casual showing of his world-breaking powers. He felt like Jorn and the others were his brothers now because they all experienced the same ridiculous feeling of getting your dreams so easily, just like that.
They all thought that getting their dream Teqx was only reserved for those who could afford it. They didn’t think that they would be lucky enough to get a Teqx, much more the exact Teqx they wanted. The only thing they had to do was sign a contract.
Patty could have put in the contract that they would be forever enslaved to be his hard workers without any compensation. Which, by the way, would still be better than the conditions of the Ruobber company.
They would think that getting this kind of gift could only be compensated by a life-long debt.

Andres knew exactly what they were thinking. He knew exactly what they would do next. He inwardly counted to himself: three, two, one…
“We want to serve you forever, sir Patty!” they all said in unison.
It was such an easy decision. Patty was the kind of transcendent power that even the global conglomerates didn’t have. They didn’t have to be prophets to know that someday, Patty would rise through the ranks and someday rule the world.
Jorn and the others were not talented. They didn’t have any good future. But if they put their lives on the line for a potential global star like Patty, then they could potentially change their future for the better. Who knew, maybe Patty would take them with him on his way to stardom?
“Sure,” Patty said with a slight smile on his face.
He got three new butlers! They could also become new delivery men for him, which meant that he would never have to personally deliver the Kores to Leonard! His automation system was coming into place.
Not only that, he would also earn a passive income of dividends from them. By giving them Teqx, he was able to invest in them and the stock broker activated automatically.
He now had 5 people he was investing in. Achram and Andres were the first ones, and now these three also joined the club.
He already received a 500 Yi Power reward from Achram because he killed 5 of his fellow Thalls. However, he hadn’t received anything from Andres yet even though he was able to defeat those three interns when they ambushed him.
Did the fact that Achram was from the Virtual World affect the rewards?
Or maybe Andres needed to kill his enemies for it to count as a ‘defeat’ of an enemy? That sounded grim. If they killed someone here in cold blood, then they would most likely get imprisoned for life.
Killing and getting away with it could only work in the Virtual World. Did that mean that he would never get any dividends from his investments in the real world? He hoped not. After all, he would rather invest in people in the real world because the benefits he could get were more tangible that way.
For example, Andres and the others would now become his butlers and bodyguards.
It could also be a possibility that Andres simply hadn’t defeated an enemy that had equal strength to him. Since Jorn and the others were mere mortals when Andres fought them, the difference in strength must have been too much, and Andres wasn’t able to earn much cultivation from it.
All of those were just his hypotheses. He would probably find out about the exact conditions of his investment sooner or later. He could test it out, but he was far too lazy to do that. That would require finding another Teqx user who was willing to spar with Andres and the others.
Wait a minute, thought Patty. Couldn’t they all just spar with each other? Since they all just acquired their Teqx powers, their powers were at the same level.
“Can you all spar with each other? I just want to check something.”
The three of them looked at each other and smiled. They were all docile in front of Patty, but inside, they wanted to test their new powers in a real fight from the beginning. Now that they were given the green light, their competitiveness came out at once.
“I want to see how strong I become.”
“Hehe…I feel like I could write anything.”
“Do you guys think you could go against iron?”
All of them were also excited since they wanted to check out their strength against others. It then became like a little game between them.
They would all get a chance to fight each other.
(Jorn vs. Roni)
It was the fight between the Ice skater and the Ink Drawer. First, Roni summoned his magical brush and started to draw an animal in his notebook. Since he was limited by the size of his paper, he couldn’t summon a large animal like a tiger.
Of course, he could draw a tiger on the small paper, but the resulting animated tiger would also be small.
So, instead, Roni decided to draw a very large wasp. It could breeze through the air and had a nasty sting. This would be a perfect counter for Jorn’s fast ice skating.
Meanwhile, Jorn didn’t have any preparations and simply just glided in place while he waited for Roni to finish his drawing. Soon enough, a large wasp about the size of a palm suddenly peeled itself off from Roni’s notebook and floated in the air. Then, it started to buzz as the wings of the wasp fluttered.
DAAAZZZZZZZ
Jorn smiled and simply walked backward and put his back against the wall. He needed more space to gather momentum. When he was ready, he deactivated his left foot and put it against the wall to have the most friction and force. Then, he pushed off the wall and sped toward the giant wasp.
The wasp saw this intruder and quickly put its stinger forward, aiming to hit him directly in the forehead. Jorn, on the other hand, raised his fist in a punch.
The stinger and the punch met in the middle.
Roni’s eyes widened as the ink wasp suddenly disintegrated into pure ink and evaporated in the air. Just like that, he lost the fight. Roni had no defenses once his ink drawing was defeated.
Andres nodded. He expected this outcome. Just like in the real world and the game, Power beats Fame.
Patty looked at his screen and rejoiced.
[Your investment (Jorn) has defeated an equal opponent in a spar]
[You have earned 100 Yi Power as a dividend]
