Chapter 24 - Visiting Dad Part 1
After what happened yesterday, I was summoned again to Queen Silvia’s chamber to report on what had occurred.
“I felt a really powerful spell yesterday, one that I haven't felt before, and then I’m told that Haliel’s got her strength back? Do you know how troublesome this will be? Huff looks like we’ll have to execute her sooner than I thought, though this could also make it easier.” [Silvia]
“Huh? How so? Isn’t her having her power back make it more dangerous and harder for me?” [Alissa]
“No, though I said ‘sooner’ we still can’t just kill her whenever especially now. Ah, I don’t have time to waste with you, I have to finish making this mana. Here take this dagger, when it’s time to kill her it’ll turn red and all you have to do is stab her.” [Silvia]
“Huh but isn’t that a Rank SS weapon!? I can’t hold on to something that valuable your Majesty.” [Alissa]
“Hoh, you seem to at least be knowledgeable with your weapons? Well how else do you plan to kill her? This dagger has my mana inside it, so I can send messages to you through it and when I send it some of my mana it turns red. During that state it can penetrate almost any barrier so killing will be easy now take it and don’t let anyone find out about this or the dagger.” [Silvia]
“Yes Queen Silvia!” [Alissa]
Before walking out of Queen Silvia’s chamber, I put the dagger into my [Inventory] space.
After that I went to my room to relax, I laid around in my bed before I went to wake up Princess Haliel.

As someone opened the curtains in my room and let the sunlight in, I slowly open my eyes to see Alissa.
Since it was still early in the morning both Nym and Laurel aren’t here yet.
“Morning Princess. How was your sleep?” [Alissa]
“Mmmh... Good morning....”
I replied to her while I was yawning and stretching out my arms.
“Ahh. I hadn’t slept this well for a while. That work out yesterday was really fun.”
“You destroyed half the training area…” [Alissa]
“W-well I suppose I did go overboard there, but I did restore it afterwards.”
“A princess isn’t supposed to be so… obsessed with fighting. It isn’t very lady-like.” [Alissa]
“Yeah, yeah. I don’t plan to be a weak person in this world crawling with crazy powerful monsters.”
To my reply, Alissa responded with a sigh and finished tying up the curtains before she served me my morning tea.
As I finish drinking my tea and got dressed, both Nym and Laurel came knocking on the door.
“You two can come on in. On time as usually.”
“Morning Princess. What are your plans for today?” [Nym]
“Hmm, now that you mention it there was one thing I wanted to do but never got to because other things kept on popping up. I think I’ll go ask Rinor about it. Oh, but before that let's go to Blaze’s room.”
Saying so we walked out of my room and went towards Blaze’s personal room.
After a bit of walking we arrived as I entered the room without knocking.
“Oh morning Haliel. What do you need?” [Blaze]
“You know how I promised to go visit dad as often as I can? Well, I’ve wanted to but things kept coming up right after an issue was resolved so it's been a while.”
“Ah, you’re right. It's been like what, roughly 3 or so months by now right? Or was it more. But are you even allowed to leave now that you’re a Princess?” [Blaze]
“Hehe. No problem it was something that Rinor and I agreed on after his declaration to adopt me. I mean he didn’t even discuss it with me at all before saying so to the nobles. And since all that happened it would’ve been bad for him to take back what he said so I agree to it on the condition that he won’t have any power over my movements.”
“When was this?” [Blaze]
“Ah, it was after the fight with Kiirion. Before all the nobles left.”
“Huh?” [Blaze]
“It’s fine, my strength is back after all. I do still need to inform him though, so let's go.”
With that dealt with me and Blaze walked out of his room and rejoined with my personal servants before we set off to Rinor’s room.
The reason we are going to his room instead of the Throne room was because it was still very early in the morning so he should just be getting ready.
I was right because when we arrived to his room, his guards were still stationed there.
Seeing me coming the guards came bowed to me before asking the reason why I was here so early in the morning.
“Oh, Princess Haliel.Good morning, and what do you need with Emperor Rinor at this time?” [Guard]

“Just came to have a little chat with him, so may you please step aside?”
“Of course Princess. He may still be sleeping though.” [Guard]
After they opened the door I went inside with Blaze while Nym, Alissa, and Laurel waited for us outside.
When we entered the room, the guards closed the giant door behinds us and Rinor had just woke up.
“Hmm? What are you doing here so early Haliel?” [Rinor]
“Huff. It’s just that you wake up late. Honestly shouldn’t an Emperor wake up earlier?”
“Haha, it isn't even half past 7 yet. Besides I did go through all that paperwork last night.” [Rinor]
Saying so he pointed to a stack of paper and documents on his desk.
“Shouldn’t they be looked over by a secretary or something?”
“Well, those documents needed my signatures so I can’t just leave it to her. So, anyways what is it you came here for. I know you wouldn’t just come here for idle chit-chat.” [Rinor]
“Well, I’ll get straight to the point then. I will be gone for a couple of days to visit my dad’s grave. I’ve been here for quite some time now and I wanted to tll him that mom’s safe and sound.”
“I see. Huff, well, even if I agreed to not have any control over your movements, it would be bad to have a Princess wondering outside the palace.” [Rinor]
“Well, I don’t really care how you handle it but I’ll be going tomorrow with Blaze. Would’ve taken mom too but she’s needed here and I don’t want to disrupt things here further.”
“Huff… since you’re being that persistent at least take your servants with you. Just be sure to be back within five days.” [Rinor]
“Ahh… but taking them would take longer… Blaze you think you can take us there, since you are faster than those Griffins.”
“Hah… it can’t be helped huh? Well then, let's go.” [Blaze]
With Rinor’s approval, I told Nym, Alissa, and Laurel about it then we spent the rest of the day preparing for our departure.

Yesterday we were abruptly told by Princess Haliel that she will be visiting her father’s grave and we are to go together so Alissa and Nym spent much of yesterday preparing for this trip.
However it seems as though few people actually know about this, since most people thought Princess was going on a trip or something instead.
This morning I had to wake up extra early to depart but it seems that Princess was up even earlier as she was the one knocking on my door just as I finished putting on my armor.
It seems I wasn’t the only one because everyone has a tired face on except for Blaze and Princess Haliel.
“So everyone is finally here?” [Blaze]
“Yep.”
“Then get on everyone and since we only have 5 days, I’ll be going as fast as I can. This means you all better hang on tight.” [Blaze]
Blaze said so while prompting us to climb onto his back.
‘I knew Blaze was a Blue Blazing Phoenix but I didn’t think he’ll be this huge when he transform.’ [Laurel]
Everyone was hesitant to climb on his back because he looks as if he’s the flame itself except for Princess Haliel, who quickly got on his back.
After sitting down Princess Haliel turned her head back to look at us.
“You coming or not?”
“W-well… ” [Alissa]
“If you’re all afraid that he’ll burn you then it’s for naught. See, I’m perfectly fine right?”
“Haha… even if you say that, it’s still scary Princess.” [Nym]
Seeing that both Alissa and Nym won’t be getting on soon, I went ahead and climbed onto Blaze.
With this both of them became less scared and climbed on after me.
Once everyone was on, Blaze spread open his giant wings and with one flap, he created a strong gust of wind propelling himself into the air.
Blaze turned towards the direction of the Kingdom Slodidal and flew at an extremely fast speed, within a couple of seconds the capital was already out of view.
“Hey Blaze you got a lot faster. With this speed we’ll be there by tomorrow morning or afternoon at the latest.”
“Umm, Princess. Where exactly are we going? It’s not to the Human Kingdom Slodidal is it?” [Laurel]
“No, we’ll still be within the Elisven Forest. This forest still was where I grew up, though it’s near Slodidal.”
“ I see.” [Laurel]

PS. Sorry guys for such a long leave without any notice AP testing week came up so yeah... and my lil bros broke my laptop charger so I couldn't type it there. Also sorry for the short chap, didn't really have time, after next chap it should be back to the normal length.
