Amidst the horrified looks of the four remaining council members in Adam’s heavenly kingdom, Garden of Eden, the sole True God of Earth ruthlessly willed the black blade stabbed through both Braun and 8th Seat Mother Nature to expand, causing countless spikes to explode out of the two’s bodies.
Braun coughed out a black liquid substance from his mouth as his very origin took another heavy hit. Although he had presented himself as aloof and carefree when killing 8th Seat Mother Nature with Adam’s attack, in reality, he was already on the verge of passing out and falling unconscious.
His origin, a major connection he had to this world, was gradually cracking into pieces, and the moment it gets destroyed without him having successfully transcended to Level 8, he would die—his soul, his mind, his existence would be erased from reality.
Braun hurriedly transformed into a thin colorful line once more and flew out as a streak of light, heading straight into the sky, far from Adam’s reach.
7th Seat Dao Seeker wore a vengeful look as he pressed a new hand seal into the air by slamming both of his hands together to form a sword-like appearance, and shouted loudly, “Heavenly Dao: Vengeful Heavens!”
A sharp, shrill cry rang out across the clear sky and a pale ghostly face as large as mountains formed in the air. Its piercing red eyes glared hatefully at Braun as if it wanted to devour him and push his soul into the depths of hell.
The monstrous pale ghost face opened its mouth wide and ghostly red energy gathered in front of its lips.
6th Seat Overlord of Technology controlled her giant mech suit to fly into the air with the massive cannon made out of death knights held tightly in her hand. Slamming it against the pale ghost face, a mechanical voice echoed in her ears, “Detecting presence of heaven and spiritual domains… initiating integration to current weapon: End Cannon.”
“Integration successful.”
6th Seat Overlord of Technology pointed the cannon at the rapidly fleeting figure of Braun and pressed the trigger without pause. Countless bright lights darted in her visor as her AI autonomously calculated numerous trajectories, making her attack effectively undodgeable.
Braun turned to look at the bright red beam of light coming his way, its presence far more ghostly and destructive than before, and opened his mouth wide.
“Due to her rage and lack of accurate knowledge, 6th Seat Overlord of Technology made her weapon hold a spiritual aspect, allowing Freidrich Braun, a being whose vessel had fused both its flesh and soul into one creation, to devour the attack for his advantage!”
His mouth elongated to a radical degree as the red beam of light tens of meters tall swarmed its way into his stomach. The pitch-black figure rapidly bloated into a sphere, appearing more rotund and soft to the touch.
Pale white flames gathered at the edge of 5th Seat Lord of Death’s scythe as he gathered his power for one powerful strike. The moment he saw Braun greedily absorbing the endless amount of vengeful spiritual energy coming his way, he took action.
He appeared right behind Braun with his eyes emotionless and cold. Yet, if one looked closely, they’d find hints of helplessness, powerlessness, and anger burning brightly like a flame in his heart.
“The usually emotionless guide of lost souls had finally felt sadness after being unusually emotionless for hundreds of years. With the death of his close companions that had accompanied him for how many years, he was dead set on seeking revenge and ending Freidrich Brauns’ life.”
“Unfortunately for the withered old fool, this was all an elaborate trap that Braun had set. Although he appeared struggling to absorb all of this ghostly energy, he was actually not struggling at all and had recovered quite a bit from Adam’s kind of weak, not all that strong attack that definitely didn’t almost kill Braun in one go.”
Just as 5th Seat Lord of Death attempted to swing his scythe and deal a massive blow to Braun, a new mouth suddenly formed on Braun’s rotund back, with bright red light emitting out of it like a direct wormhole to hell.
As the bright red beam was about to burst out of the mouth on Braun’s back, Adam suddenly appeared right beside 5th Seat Lord of Death and grabbed at the opened mouth.
“Your trap never existed in the first place. You were truly struggling to absorb the endless stream of ghost energy crashing into your stomach.”
Rewriting history, the mouth on Braun’s back was erased from reality, and Adam stabbed the black blade into Braun’s back, with endless spikes protruding out of every inch of his skin.
The light in Braun’s eyes flickered between brightness and dimness as his origin turned warped and crumbled. His body underwent rapid changes, losing its original structure, and transforming into an amorphous blob of sorts rather than a humanoid figure.
While watching this rapid change, Adam’s eyes flashed as he felt his mind rapidly clear up.
Strange… Strange… I don’t know why, but it feels like my thoughts are clearing up right now.
As the strange thought appeared in his mind, Braun continued to be suppressed by the unrivaled might of a True God, and the endless spikes protruding out of the amorphous blob gathered to form a black sphere, enclosing the entity within it.
…
While the divine figure of Buddha shattered into fragmented golden light, the Herald of Stars, weakened by the overflowing bad karma coursing through its body, erupted with a surreal brilliance of countless dead stars. Countless eyes formed on its body and its flesh turned similar to rocks, yet as flexible as boneless tentacles.

Its originally humanoid octopus-like appearance morphed into a ball with countless tentacles protruding out of it. The biggest eye placed on the center of its ‘face’ cracked open in the middle, revealing massive rows of sharp teeth and an endless abyss within.
Before Zen and Crowley could act, the tentacled ball of flesh roared loudly in the void of space, and a vortex of utter darkness formed from its opened mouth. An unceasing suction force grasped the two while space seemingly transformed into a dark liquid substance and was pulled into the center of the dark vortex.
The two Level 7 gods from Aegis hurriedly flew away from the vortex to escape its range, but in the next moment, its afterimages appeared right beside both the Librarian of Akasha and the Detached Buddhist.
Domains of both space and destruction were displayed with overwhelming, exponential might. The spherical meteor with numerous tentacles protruding out of its body ballooned as its tentacles puffed up like how a human’s cheeks would inflate when sucking in air.
Dual Divine Authority: Wanderer of Stars-Herald of Destruction!
A spiraling burst of darkness spewed out of its mouth that destroyed everything in its path akin to a spreading goo of annihilation.
The two hurriedly used their divine authorities to try and block the attack, with Crowley creating numerous layers of bookshelves while Zen formed a yin-yang barrier made out of karmic light. Their actions proved useless as the corrosive darkness, powered by two divine authorities, experienced a significant increase in strength and easily broke through their defenses.
They didn’t miss this detail and knew that if they didn’t act fast, they would be overwhelmed by the alien’s overwhelming might. Escaping could be possible, but with the alien god’s authority that was made for travel, it was a futile effort. Attacking back wouldn’t also work due to the large difference in strength and clashing authorities between the two, so they were only left with one option.
We have to activate our domains again!
At this point, their divine cores were struggling to uphold the power they were forcibly using, but that problem could be fixed later with Adam’s help as a Level 8 True God. They have resources from all across the world to deal with the backlash, so there was no point in worrying.
“Heavenly Kingdom—Akashic Library!”
“Heavenly Kingdom—Samsara!”
A grand illusory library made out of radiant blue light descended upon the world.
A black sky and white ground overlapped and formed on top of the warping space.
The corrosive darkness with divine might seemed to greatly weaken as the two heavenly kingdoms slowly stabilized and overwritten reality, but the alien god still had a trick up its sleeve.
“Heavenly Kingdom.” Its voice fell to a chilling degree. Its large mouth opened and closed as it mouthed the words in a strange, alien language. “Dying Galaxy.”
The whole space trembled and the scenery around them underwent a massive change. The black sea, once dotted with dazzling stars, was now covered by a breathtaking layer of exploding lights. Countless fissures and cracks formed all across the vast space. From the numerous exploding and dying stars in the void, numerous eyes opened, and tentacles formed from their diverging lights.
Dual Divine Authority Divine Kingdom!
Crowley and Zen spat out their deified blood as their expressions turned pale. Not only did they receive a massive backlash and had their divine cores grow unstable, but the immense foundation of the heavenly kingdom they were in forcefully suppressed their abilities while amping the abilities of the alien god to a whole new level.
The numerous dying stars in the sky opened their mouths, revealing their fleshy insides. An aura of decay and end continuously poured into every bit of the heavenly kingdom, passively withering the entities within it.
“Experience the end of this universe—Freeze and darken, swallow all that exist!”
The bodies of the numerous living stars in the world rapidly expanded in size as slithering darkness erupted out of their mouths. Their tentacles flailed wildly and wrapped all across their burning figures, before eventually, they contracted inwards.
Light and darkness were reversed as a new change began to occur. Their bright lights were sucked into the endless depths of their bodies, and from dying stars, they became the sign of utter despair—Sea of Black Holes!
A bone-chilling roar resounded across the vast space as a singular eye opened from one of the black holes. Then another one did the same, and another, and another…
They were gathering and piling into one another, clashing and absorbing the strength of each living black hole into themselves until there was only one left. It was so massive that it seemed to overturn heaven and earth. Its full size could barely be perceived from hundreds of millions of kilometers away and engulfed the very world.
Half-step Level 8 True God! Amped by the environment of this dual divine authority heavenly kingdom, the alien god had undergone a temporary qualitative change and achieved their divine form!
Combining the two divine authorities it wielded, the previous Herald of Destruction and Wanderer of Stars became a new being that signified the end of the universe—Testimony of the End.
Crowley and Zen stared at the massive black hole that spanned untold lightyears in size. Even if it could only exert such primordial power in its heavenly kingdom, it didn’t change the fact that what they are facing now is a genuine divine being, an entity that had fully transcended from its tethers to the mortal world and had embodied its divine authority.
It was not a being made out of flesh and blood no more, it was a genuine god.
“I would have never expected this to happen, you know?” Crowley stared at the rapidly approaching darkness and murmured with a decrepit smile. “All of my calculations, all of the truth I had divined, they were all pointing at our overwhelming victory.”
“Hmm…” Zen nodded his head in understanding. “You’re not the only one who was misled by their predictions.”
“Still, to push two Level 7 beings to become a half-step Level 8 all by himself?” Crowley laughed. “I would dare say that even if we knew the end, we would have still gone and tried to get this power for ourselves!”
“A power that defies the natural order of this world, a power that could only be considered as heaven-defying.” Zen smiled.
“Well, I suppose we only have one path left for our survival, right?” Crowley turned to look at Zen with a mysterious smile.
“The one wielding the divine authority of God himself, a human suspected to bear the same destiny belonging to the almighty ruler of humanity—Christopher Divus,” Zen muttered with a resolute gaze.
Without waiting another second, the two plunged their hands into their chest and pulled an object of divine power from their bodies.
One was a miniature library colored blue, while the other was a revolving orb of black and white. As soon as the two cores appeared, they poked through the heavenly kingdom and arrived in the outside world.
He’s the only shot we have now on defeating this monster and surviving!
…
Christopher opened his eyes as reality around him returned to normal. Two divine cores appeared before him, each hovering an arm’s reach away from him. He didn’t seem surprised by this outcome as his eyes glowed with an iridescent light.
Grabbing the two divine cores, endless white light exploded from his eyes and mouth as he channeled his power to his fullest. His whole body broke into light and reconstructed into flesh, with the pain nearly driving him to the edge of insanity.
He held on for his dear life and assimilated the two divine cores with all his might, turning the two foreign powers into his.
As he did so, he stared at the empty sky illuminated by the white light endlessly shining from his eyes, and he finally saw something that was once nonexistent.
Countless crystalline lines extended out of the void and weaved into one another, forming a complex diagram of threads that were all interconnected. The threads extended into the infinite and into the boundless, clumping together to form what appears to be—
